  1. You could using the tipit treasure locator. Just find the coordinates of the poison arrow, then work out 200 paces north and 500 east.
  2. I walked up on some noobs death pile. D long, warrior helm, rune plate and legs, some swordies. This seems like the type of thread that will turn into another rant about the trade limits...
  3. actually as of June 08 kids under 13 could make an account and play(though if you said you were under 13 you are forced to use only quick chat). Well when I first joined the 13+ rule wasn't there. Not exactly sure when they added it but it wasn't always there. Does that tell you how old my account is? it came in years after i made mine... I wasn't keeping track back then. I just know when I made Life it wasn't there but it was when I made Luner (granted that's about a 2 year difference).
  4. what makes you say that? Looks more like crystal imo. And i would think an aura would be a uniform color whereas it was white with bluish parts. And lastly, i think a Crystal mace would hurt a lot more then whatever it feels like to get hit with an aura.[/img] I don't have a picture of it but when you get back to the city one of the goblins tells you that a creature surrounded by a white aura came out of a portal and dropped the message in the middle of the city. (along with taking out anything it ts way.) So that's what makes me say it's aura. About the mace, well I think getting hit by a god's aura will hurt anyway.

You guys are weird. While I had silver first gold always had more allure to me.
  7. You mean they're inviting their target audience. Runescape has always been targeted for people in that age range so it's not like it's weird.
  8. The gods are forbidden from interfering with living things directly. They can still interfere though. That's why Bandos was able to get away with the whole pendent/chosen commander thing. As long as it's not them in person. According to a few quests Guthix is sort of pushing you in the right direction anyway. I still have doubts as to whether that really was Bandos or not i kinda have to agree, the avatar was incredibly weak and bandos doesn't seem like a crystal style user anyway It was a white aura, not crystal. And no, the avatar wasn't Bandos. The Bandos avatar was just a random goblin who picked up the amulet who was controlled by Bandos after that. Everything has a limit to how much power can be fed into it. So even though it was weak, goblins are naturally weak. Now the Bandos avatar wouldn't have Bandos full power because only Bandos himself has his full power. So when you think about it the avatar was incredibly strong for being a normal goblin. You know the ones you killed when you were level 3.

Care to enlighten us as to which game?

  11. We wern't talking about slayerbelle. I don't use cannon and don't play soul wars so I wasn't aware of those methods.
  12. Think of a word and add noob after it. There's your thread.
  13. Did you just call me a "noob"? Do you even know what that is? It's runescape, no one knows what a noob is.

You're dead to me. -.- and why is that? Because you lol'd at a runescape joke. That goes against rule #8527 (of the internet)
  15. So how the hell do you get 99 slayer on a 10 hp character? :?

  17. *sigh* I wish they would ask us to test. Or at least the pmods (I'm not a pmod). They don't want us, obviously. It seems so. Lol yeah we are gonna end up with kiddie content! Player moderators who are fun orb players got to test the kickabout game before it was released. So maybe Jagex is trying to actually make content that won't make you lose 300M if you logout or make monster not retaliate. @Raven I'm sure if you apply to be a tester stuff like time played and levels will come into play when they choose who to accept (well I hope atleast). They released a kickabout beta so everyone got to test it before it was done. I did. 'Show'd me not to waste my time, it's not my type of game.
  18. Is the disc messed up? I remember my legend of dragoon disc was messed up, couldn't get past the water dragon. (Well technically I did get passed it, just not the cutscene after it) Same with my FFVII disc 1 accept it cut out right after Aerith's death and the Jenova fight. A rather perfect place to cut it actually lol. Found another copy of FFVII but no one seems to want to let go of a copy of legend of dragoon.
  19. What? The basic color pokemon games and the metallic pokemon games were classic. Once we started getting up into the gemstone though they went down hill. Yea i meant the newest ones, not the old skool ones shoulda probaly meantioned it #-o But the newest ones have Shinx and Parichisu. Don't have a DS so I can't play the newest ones but they started going downhill with Ruby and Sapphire.

  21. 1st, didn't they break their OWN rule!? 13+ to play! 2nd, if they want testers they must be releasing the super update! Some please go to this and let everyone here on TIF know what the hell it is they're releasing!!! It is only 13+ to play in normal worlds. Under 13 is limited to quick chat only. It isn't neccessarily a super update, but with their current track record they may want more help. This is a volunteer only thing, meaning they do not need to hire additional testers (seeing as their current ones seem to be missing major flaws.) This saves them money, time, and gives them a different kind of tester. The current testers would all be older people, all over the age of 18 I would guess. They would be mature, logical, and have a certain process to follow. With children coming in they may do things that people would not normally think to do, just because it would seem stupid to do it, but chances are one of these kids would do it. Just as an example of a recent flaw: If you logged out during the tutorial, you lost all the item in your inventory. A normal person would not think "Oh I just started playing this new content, lets log out." But a child might get distracted and have to leave, go use the bathroom or something. [/hide] That is a good point, but I still feel that betweem all of the hints at things such a new tab, night/day, a new skill(possibly) and other big updates, that having kids come in to test something that isn't a big update would be a waste of their time and resources. I honestly feel that it could be either MechScape and they lied, or it's that ground-breaking content that they were going to make into a new game but decided to put into RuneScape. You mean like Armies of Gielinor, I mean MA...
  22. I remember that, I just don't see why testing it would call for children to go there IRL I suppose they'll want to see if the kids can work and understand it. And if they release it being buggy they can't just release an update to fix it or anything. Or to see how kids can get around it. Just ask the parents to set up the options for their kids, then tell the kids to play normally. Just watch them play/record them playing and check for bugs that they discover.
  23. Doing different things. *WHOOOOOOOOOOOSH* Sarcasm doesn't come across very well on the interweb What in the HELL'S sarcasm?? It's when you fall down a well nipples 1st. How'd you know what I do in my spare time? :uhh:
  24. Yeah it should be. MA was only in testing for like what, half a year?
  25. The thing is I could totally pass for it BUT when I come around to applying for a job in a year or so's time they'll be like... weren't you 15 last year? Also it's too short notice. Why can't they do like the other webcompanies I fangirl over and locate up north in Manchester? Because you there northern lot steal all the good stoofs! Bwahaha. But you've got London down south and EVERYTHING is in London D= Anyway has nobody considered this COULD be Mechscape? They could be lying about it being Runescape to test. Maybe they're testing the security keys? A child security control feature was mentioned for 2009 somewhere, this could be it.
