It's not a matter of health, it's a matter of legality. My parents view anything illegal as instantly bad. It's not something I'm going to argue or educate them about because frankly it's not worth the time it takes. You live in California and your parents aren't even open to discussion about it? Yeah. It's not that I care whether I have permission, I would do it anyway, it's just that having permission makes it so much easier and less stressful. Boros, tobacco in any form is far, far worse than marijuana, so why would they care?

My dad caught me smoking this morning. On a related note, he's letting me do it. Only outside and only 2-5 times a week though. Better than nothing, I'll obviously try to convince him to let me do it every day, or I'll just do it anyway. But his reason for not letting me do it every day is that I could become dependent on it (you can't be physically addicted to marijuana) meaning you don't get any physical withdrawal symptoms.

No, I bet they do it based on your statistical likelihood to like/comment on a status, taking into account the poster, the subject, your past posting habits, etc.

You didn't use that calculator when you were in middle school? Everyone had those from like sixth or seventh grade to freshman year. Now we have the graphing calculators, but I still have one of those in my backpack I believe.

I haven't tried it yet, but I got Katamari Damacy before and it was a lot of fun. There's a learning curve, but it is a lot of fun regardless. If you like "quirky" games, you'll probably like Katamari (ex: LittleBigPlanet, World of Goo, etc.)

There is very little evidence speculating one way or the other to be honest. So there is no reason to believe any current theory of how the universe came into existence either. Don't tell me otherwise unless you have SOLID 100% proof that you can show to me. If you are going to tell me that the universe just exploded, show me the damn video recording of it. I'm not saying the big bang theory (note the theory part, theory is defined as a well explained and supported idea) is correct, but I am saying there is no empirical evidence that any deity exists and therefore there is no reason to believe in one.

The simple, short story is that there is 0 empirical evidence of an existing deity. There's no reason to believe in a deity, it's usually just that people were brought up that way or were exposed to it later.

I believe in equal rights, equal fights. Gender plays no role in determining punishment/guilt in a fight. If one person starts the fight, the other has the right to defend themself regardless of gender. In the case on the last page, the guy rightfully got his ass kicked for starting it. If the gender had been reversed, then the girl would have been in the same situation.

Don't wear a helmet, and weave slightly. Cars will give you tons of room. :mrgreen: Surprisingly, this is actually the safest way to bike. You're better off (percentage wise) without a helmet because cars give you more space and drivers are more alert. I'm not just making this up, the data from crashes and accidents shows this. Of course biking without a helmet ever is dumb, so you should just use one anyway so you don't die if you faceplant.

Switched out of my English class (it was intended for seniors and juniors, I'm a sophomore) into Shakespeare. At least in my previous class we would be reading great [cabbage] (Nicomachean Ethics, Oedipus Cycle, Inferno, St. Augustine, Plato, Socrates, Sophocles, etc. IN THE FIRST SEMESTER). I appreciate that these are all great works, but the class is just way too hard for me. Luckily, we had an essay due on Wednesday which I won't have to do :thumbup: About to go blaze, [bleep], and ride my bike to my elementary school where I will sit on the swings, stoned. I [bleep]ing love free time.
