I second enfield's post. :thumbsup: Anyway, even without a downvote button, there is still a way to 'game' a 'Like' button. All a group of people would have to do is to just walk along and massively punch the 'Like' button on any post they chose. This would then result in other people coming along and thinking that post was better than all the others, even though it might contain potentially bad and/or non-usable advice. In result, Tip.It's Forum Community would then end up with infighting caused by a war between those niche groups and others. Personally, I find myself angered by this event, having known about it due to the RS front page news feed. With how Jagex set it up, only a player who is/was a P2P'er can have any chance at completing it and entering for the shirt prize. Jagex should have made it five locations in F2P that anyone could find, and they shut out their F2P community from entering by not doing so. The whole thing was not fair towards a good chunk of the RS community, especially the whole F2P community, and places disgrace on Jagex for launching it without thinking about this issue. :notalk: ~D. Seeing this, it sounds to me like you're hosed. Apple is probably no longer putting out updates for Java for the OS X version that is running on your MacBook. Worse, your MacBook may have a CPU that is no longer compatible with Java, and as equally can't accept an OS X upgrade (which would provide more Java upgrades) for the same reason. :geek: Sorry, Aceethan, because it looks like you're totally out of luck. Might I suggest buying a PC instead? Honestly, they don't cost as much as Apple-made products, and there happens to be a far greater and longer compatibility lifetime when it comes to things like Java. Anyway, I just don't see the point in putting up with the trouble that Apple causes with Java, and I know that no one wants to have to shell out ~$2000 for an Apple-made system that's only going to do well for just a few years. :( ~D. Hello, Tip.It Staff! :D I thought, since I don't know who specifically was involved in this, that I would create a thread and post my thanks about the positive changes to Display Names. Heck, this way, all who worked on it get to see my compliments, and everyone else who wants to add their compliments can easily do so. Personally I am very happy and appreciative that Display Names are now accepting additional spaces and punctuation. I'll admit, I've been itching mentally since they first became available to set it like you see it now, and I'm really glad that I was finally able as of this morning (PST time zone) to set mine. :thumbsup: So yeah, before I ramble like some maniac, I'll say it again and buzz off...
