  1. 854 Eh, do you have a link to the thread? And is your thread locked right now, or not? It will be useless for me to dive in on that if it is locked. ~Mr. Devnull
  2. Also happens with a SwordFish... I'm surprised it was re-used on the shark. ~Mr. Devnull
  3. 852 ... Glad to see this thread started moving again. ~Mr. Devnull
  4. This sounds like a serious case of "SHAME ON YOU, JAGEX!!!", and that Jagex should be made to clean up their mistake. #-o BTW, I'm F2P, but I do have some idea of P2P things after watching P2P's play as well as researching a [bleep]-load of stuff. ~Mr. Devnull
  5. Hello all. I personally support this. =D> Just for starters, they could create an F2P/P2P Quest corresponding with the "More F2P Bank Space" thread I have seen elsewhere here. Add like 12 spaces for beating the quest for F2P and 48 for beating it as a P2P. At least it would then have some reasonable extension off of it. :? Then, of course, I'd like a quest that would unlock a shop in F2P where after a person first gains stuff like Keys (Melzar's Maze, Draynor Manor Key) and Weapons (SilverLight, Falador Blurite Sword) from quests, they could get any of those items that were lost for a reasonable price. :P Figured I would at least put those out in the air to expand on... ~Mr. Devnull
  6. I just went and grabbed my ultimate definitive answer from another thread (http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?p=3779339#3779339), so here you be, Rednik... LATE EDIT: (Pulled this from yet another thread that I replied to... Answer from http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?p=3942547#3942547 includes additional help beyond the other post...) BTW, a few tweaks to the second specification set, and you can pull off deadly Fire Blasts. ~Mr. Devnull
  7. I also agree. Just simply insert new image code in your siggy field and you should be set. :P ~Mr. Devnull
  8. Put simply, sanday79, with the advent of Construction, it utterly flipped the demand for items from the higher logs (willow/maple/yew/magic) to the lower logs (Normal and Oak), and such that the Normal and Oak Logs now have far greater demand in the RS market. About all you can do is try to get money for what you think you can chop best. :P ~Mr. Devnull
  9. Do "Gold Items", and sell them at "Grum's Jewelry Shop" in Port Sarim. You can't miss it. Use the Crafting Guild to mine your Gold and get the other things you'll need to complete the items to sell to the shop. Put some of your Gem Collection into it too. :) You'll get nothing but profit, and never have to spend a penny of your current stocks. :) Hope this helps. :) ~Mr. Devnull
  10. Well, let's see if I can give you reasonable answers for these... Not possible to be in F2P. Why? Jagex put serious 'stats work' into them. They would imbalance the fighting table, just among things. Too recently released. Should have been an automatic clue that it would never be F2P. Jagex isn't really into releasing any new armors or weapons for F2P of any kind, sad to say. You're Welcome. :D ~Mr. Devnull
  11. I personally didn't like when they made that little "Background Change" to the game along with one of their updates. Now I lose all the time I would have saved in warping from Al-Kharid to Port Sarim over just simply running there instead. :( :boohoo: At least JaGeX left some way for people to get out of there. Else there would have been a lot of angry people and home teles going on. :P ~Mr. Devnull
  12. MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! D_V_DEVNULL SHALT STRIKE AGAIN!!!!!!!!! Granted, you fall asleep and wake up the next morning to look out your window and see an insanely giant dog house in your backyard. Problem is, your dog has also grown to the size of Clifford (Yes, the big red dog) to match the doghouse. And the other problem is, when you walk out to grab the morning paper, your dog licks you and sends you flying into a trash can. What a BIG dilemma. I wish lightning would hit me and give me superpowers... (NO, I don't mean forum user superpowers, seeing as I'm not even trying to aim for "Forum Mod" status... Anywho, someone leave this for the Tip.It'er by the same name! I want to see them answer this one, just for the fun of it!) ~Mr. D. V. Devnull
  13. Off-topic: My prayer display looks just like that currently. On-topic: Yeah, if you pray at the "Altar Of Saradomin" on the second floor of the "Prayer Guild" (aka "Monastery"), that altar will overcharge you by +2 prayer points above the normal limit. The boost will remain until you die or it is used up and you're back at normal limit, and you can push it over limit as many times as you like. BTW, 31+ prayer is required to enter that guild, so congratulations for making it. =D> Hope that helps. :D ~Mr. Devnull
  14. Or no one has come by the article in some time....... Anywho, have you checked all of your PC's configuration, including your "hosts" file deep within the inner workings of Windows? I have to wonder if a virus attacked that file or something. :( ~Mr. Devnull
  15. A tip for all I saw before in "Tip.It Times" and have used many times since (with expansion): Hold "Control" before clicking to start a run without activating run mode. Click where you want to go before your character stops to maintain the run if you don't want to sit on the "Control" key for every single click. Hope this helps. ~Mr. Devnull
  16. Quick Questions: =========== 1.) Is Java installed? If above is "yes": 2.) Is Java Enabled? If the second one is "yes": 3.) Do you have a "popup blocker"active or "FireWall Privacy Filter" Running? If the third one is "yes", then there might be problems with that. If not, check through your system based on whichever one was the last to come up as a "yes"... BTW, the only RuneScape site you should chop (at worst case) is "advert.runescape.com", and only if it becomes damagingly laggy to your PC... which I suspect it might. On this firewall, I was forced to for 2 reasons: 1.) House rules -- "No Adverts allowed." 2.) Serious system usability problems, something Jagex has no right to cause. Especially when they say they won't be liable for damages to your PC in their TOS and then try and shoot you with rule 15... It ain't legal to cause a "[bleep]ed if you do, [bleep]ed if you don't"-type of situation, and that will kill Jagex if they dare try to take legal action on an end user over Rule 15... Anywho, I hope the info I have handed you helps. :D ~Mr. Devnull
  17. Thanks for the info so far, folks. Hopefully, there will be more people with replies on this. :) As a couple of quick notes, since I began RuneScape around July or August of 2005, I felt like I had made considerable errors with how fast I completed all the F2P quests on my main (D_V_Devnull)... ...So when I started my other weaker accounts, I decided intentionally to take it much slower on when I began each quest, and that I would take my time in doing them. :) ... I figured, "Why rush, when you can enjoy it slowly, just like a meal in real life?" ....... ........That's when I ran into the Jagex edition of Romeo on my weaker account... Again....... #-o (Which triggered this thread... LOL...) ~Mr. D. V. Devnull (All F2P Quests completed by level 60 on my main, "D_V_Devnull")
  18. There's not much I can say because I am F2P, but the article on just merits alone was very good. The Editor helped a person to know how it feels to be in The Editor's shoes, as well as kept the article a tad humorous. I'll look forward to The Editor's next article. ~Mr. D. V. Devnull
  19. (Ultra Balls are still a type of Pokeball...) Your wish becomes granted, but much to your dismay. Magikarp becomes so big and strong that it uses "Body Slam" ON YOU!!! You end up being splat in the ground in a crater spot the shape of your body from the attack, feeling a lot of pain, but nothing broken, similar to how Ash Ketchum or Other Trainers in the Pokemon series would be after something like that. I wish......... for nothing. (I'm already too overloaded to think of one. :( ...) ~Mr. Devnull
  20. Sorry the title is confusing, I began the thread because I didn't find anything about this immediately... anywho, on to the meat (and point) of this thread... WHY in all of RuneScape has Jagex set Romeo up to disturb and bug players who have NOT done the Romeo&Juliet quest yet??? :x I was walking around on an alternate account I made to have fun in the younger days of account-work and try a few other things, and while selling stuff in varrock AND MINDING MY OWN BUSINESS, out of nowhere, I see: ...in my chat section, and then *BLAM* a dialogue pops up in my face, which I can't escape immediately except by walking away... :x Does ANYONE in these forums have ANY insight into why Jagex did this?!?!?!? I'm really ticked off by it. :x It wasn't bad enough that Random Events interrupt my tasks, but now this?!?!?!? :uhh: THIS IS LUDICROUS!!! I'll wait for return responses. Try to keep things calm when you respond, please????? :ohnoes: ~Mr. Devnull
  21. Granted. You'd be so tied up at the time that your couldn't reach your pokeballs... AND SAY WHAT?!?!? Maxie is MALE?!?!?!? Crud, that ruins my granting of your wish. I gotta watch Pokemon more when I am NOT annoyed. :( ~Mr. Devnull (p.s.: Due to mental overload, I don't wish for anything to happen this time, because something already did.)
  22. Banned because you forgot the name is "Mr. Delta Varuna Devnull"... (And no, the "Mr." does NOT mean "mentally [bleep]"... It means "Mister", because I am male...) ~Mr. Devnull (Author's note: I get why that was filtered where I have now put a "[bleep]"... but sadly, that forced me to change my post slightly... you can figure what was there...)
  23. I would say in THAT particular case, the noob is worse than the noob-caller... Which tells me that the ultimate question of this thread, "Are noob-callers worse than the noobs?", has A VERY GRAY-LINED ANSWER... ~Mr. Devnull
  24. Granted, but the next time one of the Team's Members foul up, she has you tied up and first shot off the ship by a Hydro Pump Attack from a Blastoise, then pulls you out of the water, takes you to her bedroom and bathroom, and does things to you that I can't talk about in a family-friendly forum... I now wish to eat a very boring pizza that has no problems with it, and can't end up not in my mouth in any way, including stealing and the like, and that while I am doing this, nothing attempts to harm either the pizza or me or both the pizza and me. ~Mr. Devnull (p.s.: To the next poster... You've just been PWNED...)
  25. What ARE you trying to do?!?!? Launch a "Doomsday Prophecy"??? ~Mr. Devnull
