I know I am like 7 days late to posting on this, so I will be quick and simple about my thoughts on the September 27th, 2006 Update Set: 1.) Lumbridge Teleport -- "A+" Nothing really to say but that I like it as it can save me some trouble. 2.) Area Effect Sound System -- "B-" I am running Java 1.4.2 Series because I can't upgrade it yet, and I don't like that I can't hear teleports for rune ess/runecraft spots/swords clashing between other people and NPC's... This definitely needed work done and still does. 3.) New Control Interfaces -- "C" Did they really have to give a clunky page to emotes? I liked it being out of the way in the player movement options (running guy)... Now the guy is just an emote page. It really stinks. Worse, they have seperated the run button and weight display. Following others and traveling fast is going to become something from the past. Gonna be trouble keeping anything co-ordinated on RuneScape anymore... Next off, I liked to be able to see my stat bonuses WHILE IN COMBAT... But I guess that is shot too... Then finally, and the only reason I am giving a "C" to this, they started off with orange stat displays, but set it back to yellow at the full uproar of RuneScape'ers everywhere. 4.) Skill Tutors And The New Lumbridge Bank -- "A+" I actually liked this one. Lumbridge will never be a quiet and lame place again. Free Stuff to pick up for those who lose everything their first time out. Also you get a fun joke early on with the 'Ranger/Mage Argument'... Who can't love that? 5.) Postbag From The Hedge -- "Unrated..." I'm not putting a rating on this since it has been too long since I read it. But if memory serves me right, it was kinda funny. :lol: For me, this is more than enough said. I wish they would reverse some of the major control interface changes and re-design it to look like a Medieval Interface should be, kinda like what they had before, but re-built for the recent updates... Probably. From what I hear, RS Support is lousy at best, and sometimes they won't drop a wrongful banning. Boy am I glad I don't do anything to get myself banned. ~Mr. Devnull

A teleport like that should work. Jagex wouldn't insert it for nothing more than simple quick exit, I am sure. ~Mr. Devnull

Lol, that'd work. Outa space even on member server, though I think it's mostly cause I hog my junk. Hmm, put it into skills then. Let us all know if you can get it down to 60 spaces without dropping holiday items or quest ending items or full rune/full dragon or ranger dragonhides/arrows or your mage staffs/clothes/runes, axe, tinderbox, fishing equips, pickaxe, etc. ... Okay? Make both living proof and point of yourself, and please help us nail all those members who want to be rude and nasty to an idea like this. :) (I know there's even more critical items, but my brain can't hold everything... :( ...) ~Mr. Devnull

Change the settings. I don't even know how to block an add :^o Better, don't change the settings to view adverts. They have it designed to flip ads at intervals, which steals focus, and if you dare to erase while typing, it KICKS YOU OUT of RuneScape, which has a 100% death likelihood if you're in a battle, which sends you back to lumbridge and makes you lose everything you're carrying. :cry: Worse, and this is major serious stuff, I have also lost session data due to adverts, which is illegal being that the computer they're popping onto belongs to the user, not Jagex Corporation. :cry: If Jagex really wanted people to let the adverts show, they would not flip them around or use any high-cpu adverts. :shame: Btw, my firewall disables those adverts for me in my primary browser (IE6, which RuneScape is best run in...), and it has saved me from many damaging attacks on this computer. Hmm, you forgot about all the holiday items before this new system existed, haven't you??? All items before October 2005 can not be gotten back if they are lost. Worse, some of them can't be traded for gp in-game... Please think of THOSE people who are F2P before you slam this idea. Your acting like a concerned mother whos sheltering their kids. Its not like they havent heard it before. They see it in runescape, and the hear it on tv. Your not going to avoid it, and plus your on the internet where you can't controll other peoples actions. So deal with it You really shouldn't be nasty to a mod like that. Even I try to maintain respect in my posts... :shame: Now, as for the TeamSpeak issue, I suggest the name: "Tip.It Team Area Network System" ("TITANS") ...because of how large and even more powerful Tip.It would become through this.
