Me and Ginger_Warrior can both confirm that hunter butterflies can be used in the Castle Wars minigame. I have pictures of three being used if needed.

Under the "Castle Wars Components" section it states: Bandages are now only available in the respawn room. I have updated pictures, and shall edit them in when I have them all. I noticed that the majority of the pictures were fuzzy, so I retook them and have some more of my own. Castle wars explosive pictures. Castle wars lobby. Saradomin lobby. Saradomin respawn. Saradomin store. Zamorak lobby. Zamorak respawn. Zamorak store. Castle wars status. Note: All pictures are taken with the top of the picture being north.

You also have to talk to Merlin to get it set to Camelot.

If anything the spells would be added to the Lunar spell book, as it is more assosiated with living things than the other two spell books.
