  1. You will be guaranteed the 4th card if you have all other 3 (and complete 20 waves). I've been doing it for a few weeks with TD cards. Not entirely. The drainage is dependant on the item. Dragon Claws drains 20/100 charges. Dragon limbs drain over 73/100 (and my task was at 27 when my card activated and it got dusted). Abyssal whip drains 30/100.
  2. It does work with Master Runecrafter in POH, oddly enough. I tested it myself yesterday.
  3. Maybe this swap shop will reinvigorate HM Barbarian Assault. You can you get like 700k bonus xp per hour from it.
  4. Here's something I fundamentally don't understand: If you suck at/don't like PvM, why do you honestly care about Completionist Cape when all Completionist cape is is a Max cape with PvM bonuses? I don't understand, at all, what's causing all the grief. I'm not getting a PhD and I'm not expecting my university to lower their requirements for a PhD because I don't have the abilities to get it. I'm content with a Masters-BA degree. If I don't have the twitch skills and/or "grind" skills to get Completionist, I'll use the Max cape, or Ardougne cape when farming, or Ava's alerter when ranging. I lose absolutely nothing other than some inconsequential e-peen.

  6. From the Soul Reaper FAQ on Recent Updates forum (from rsof) This is absolutely perfect and a much needed revision to fix a reward which would have otherwise been useless. Not only have they made the new jewelry worth using with this, they have made Onyxes more useful and added some value to them, and thus by proxy also making the Kiln more valuable and worthwhile (and also the 100 Kiln requirement). Sounds like it would be a bit OP, no? I watched the Livestream and this jewellery is off the charts. The amulet is best in slot for every role (beating out the Dungeoneering items) AND it has prayer AND it has a passive effect of 25-50% more Soul Split healing. This counts for all other pieces, too. The ring is like all the imbued rings of MA rolled into one with a bit of armour (and I think prayer) added to it. Has a passive as well. Bracelet is basically Razorbacks, Ascension handwraps and Celestial gauntlets rolled into one with prayer added. For their ridiculous stats I don't mind them being degrade to dust.
  7. Is it possible for HYT to organise a Vorago event? I'm having a hard time looking for places to teach me. Charles is not doing Vorago any time soon and Rago PvM has closed off its friend's chat.
  8. It's not mentioned anywhere in the newspost so lemme say it here: You can now buy the ability to be assigned Glacors and Tormented Demons for 50 slayer points each, much like Muspah and Nihil before. Also, slayer helmet won't do a damn thing on Soul Reaper tasks so you can leave that at home.
  9. I keep hearing that QBD ranged is both safer and faster than melee, with average times hovering around the 1:50. But I can't seem to get it, my ranged kills are consistently lower, and use more resources, than my melee kills. 2:15 nominal range kills compared to 2:00 nominal melee kills. This is my equipment: Universal: Full slayer helmet (I'm on task), Completionist cape, Ring of Vigour, Barrows gloves, Penance aura Melee: Torva plate, Torva legs, Drygore maces set, Steadfast boots, Scrimshaw of Vampyrism, Brawler's knockout necklace Range: Pernix top, Pernix bottom, Ascension crossbow + Offhand chaotic crossbow, 1000 dragonbane bolts, Glaiven boots, Scrimshaw of Cruelty, Farsight sniper necklace What am I doing so wrong?

  13. Nah, the best boss(es) to kill for kills are Dagannoth Kings. Easily 100 kills per hour, probably even 130 if 3x T90 weaponry and on task.

  16. Unless of course you have done livid farm and then plain old trollheim was a redundant spell made somewhat useful by the swap to gwd location. Old Trollheim spell is still useful for 2 hard clue coordinations.

It's an underappreciated items that's better than alching or pack yak banking in many case if you use it to break down into components (rather than bonus xp) For example, adamant battleaxes (common drop from abyssal demons): • Alchs for: 2496 • Breaks down into: 3x adamant ore (85%), 18x coal (85%*85%) [THESE ARE PLACED IN BANK NOT IN INVENTORY], totals to ~9864 current GE prices So even with springs being 2k each at the moment, that still amounts to 5368gp profit per adamant battleaxe. This can be extended to virtually ALL OTHER alchable armour and weaponry (bar platelegs and bars, who are best alched or banked, respectively)

  20. The problem here is that we have nothing to go on. I'm not one to usually shout RUINED FOREVER (well, initially maybe) but many, many clue items were ruined forever with last armour rework. Black armour, which used to be entirely ebony, had a lot of gray tints and pointless red and white trims added. It went from a nicely done stark contrest pre-rework to a sort of clusterfudge of trims and marks which takes away from the specialness of it. Likewise, many rune armour suffer immensely from the dongflaps that have been added. Which means nothing short of the 14 clue scroll exclusive rune armour sets are now RUINED, especially the gilded armour. More breathing room for your junk maybe, but at what expense? Third age armour is similar. It's prestigious, it should look good. We need to know what it's gonna look like before we can make an honest vote whether or not it should be changed. Third age mage robes especially, since it's unique design with its coat extending past the avatar's hips. Jagex have said in the past that they didn't like it because it caused a lot of clipping issues and all coats since have either limited itself to upper body or have the bottom parts added to the leg armour. It wouldn't surprise me if Jagex sneakily did away with the longcoat design of current 3A mage robes if we let them go nuts. tl;dr: I want to see what it'll be changed into before I will vote positively.
  21. The thing is, is that monter hunting is fundamentally flawed as well. You bring up Tormented Demons dropping lvl 60 gear, which is true, but they are in NO WAY intended for a level 60 player with level 60 gear. This isn't just TDs. Even way back, when KBD was released, he was not intended to be killed by lvl 60 players (but it wasn't too bad then). Kalphite Queen, however, was full-blown lvl70+ for lvl60 drops. GWD? Was not intended for lvl 75s. Corporeal Beast? Definitely not intended for lvl 75s. Nex? Again definitely not intended for lvl 80s. It's fundamentally flawed. If they make these drops less desirable, the monster will stop being killed. If the monster is stopped being killed, no more items will enter the market.
