I always train with scimmy. Yesterday I felt like use 2h because I thought it just be fun to try it out. I averaged MUCH lower exp then I would have with scimmy. For training purpose scimmy definately come out on top.

Mining or Woodcutting I would say.

500/min is 30k per hour that pretty good, What lvl stronghold are those? I train range at lessers mostly, not the best exp but not bad.

Hill giant pretty good (often crowded though).

I would go with minotaur in security stronghold.

My 2 favorite place to cut yew is edgeville and rimmington. I would NOT recommend cut yew at lv61 wc.
