  1. Naa tomorrow is better I think.
  2. Relying on outside knowledge to excel at certain activities is one thing that I believe brings people to fan sites, such as tip.it. Long before I signed up for these forums and became active in the community I recall coming to the main site and using the tools, reading the guides, and many other things. I believe the first time I made a forum account was in order to post a question in help and advice then slowly I began to post in other areas, make friends, etc.
  3. non gamers could also spend that time mastering a musical instrument or socialising more or studying harder for exams and tests, that would have a far greater impact in their future lives than playing a game. True, though I think there is much too learn from Runescape such as social aspects of life, and cultures through becoming friends with people originating in other countries. I suppose if you play Runescape as a solo game it would be depressing to look back but I play it as a social game and am active in chatting etc. I find that my time spent on Runescape has been very rewarding and I would not trade it for anything. PS I have probably logged in half a year or so. No regrets. :)
  4. Good job fellows. =D>
  5. I have moved this to suggestions. Also, I think you make a good point, if someone could actually create a clan in Runescape by talking to an NPC or something and that clan would then be able to create a clan chat that would solve the problem.
  6. If anyone has a desire to take on this request I greatly appreciate it. First thing, I would like my sig to consist of 2 images of the same dimensions as my current one so I can continue to use my tabs or 1 image that is the same width as my current sigs 2 images with the sapce between them. The main thing is that my tabs are still able the line up. (same width but larger height is also acceptable, but within tip.it guidelines). I would also like the avatar to be the same dimensions as current one. I want the avvy and sig to share a common theme and go well together. I would like the theme to be based off of Runescape. If my character is included, I always wear full lederhosen and brown boots, and ghost speak amulet (no cape or gloves). Usually a plain wooden staff as well. My character also sports a medium long full beard with short hair, brown or black. I like pretty scenery (mainly nature) and water etc. A happy scene, sunset perhaps? Or Blue sky with nice clouds. My favorite skill is woodcutting if this is incorporated or just relaxing in nature. Also I would like my avatar to be smoking a pipe if possible. No text needs to be included aside from possibly my characters name, in all caps: NJE03. Once again if anyone takes this on, thank you. I know it is not an easy task I request. If any clarification needed, feel free to pm me or post here.
  7. Why is it that you guys would find a high amount of hours depressing? As I previously mentioned, non gamers may spend the same amount of time on the tv, or some other hobby. What is the difference? :-k
  8. 999134fishy, the fact remains that 'sailing' is actually a possibility where as un-cooking is simply not going to be a real skill as you and I both know (not that sailing will either, but it is not impossible).
  9. I actually made a suggestion awhile back relating to this: viewtopic.php?f=37&t=654129 I suspect my hours would be very high but it is just free time spent so why worry over it? It could be spent watching tv, hanging out with friends or any number of other pass time but it was spent in Runescape. There is no harm in that. :)
  10. *notices counting has risen above '1'*
  11. The time has come... To start over.
  12. You would be clicking to eat food very often.
  13. Not everyone is in the same situation. Believe it or not there are people who can afford to pay for internet access yet cannot afford to pay for games every month. To some this is a luxury. Remember, just because you are in the position where you can pay for membership does not mean everyone else is, that is a very narrow minded way to look at it. You may find peoples "excuses" as you put it to be "stupid" but the fact remains that not everyone has the amount of money equating to a meal to spend on games. Also as it has been brought up before, F2P getting things has no adverse affects on members; I mean there is no 'F2P only' content. It is just pointless to argue about money issues... the only thing it affects is Jagex income. If it was hurting them they would take actions reflecting that. If they decided to make capes F2P everyone could benefit, not just free players.
  14. Of course, of course. The ONLY reason. Right. And now I'm sure you're going to say something along the lines of "They've paid of the dept to F2P, so don't expect anymore updates for a while yet"? Sorry if I seem hostile, but I've heard that one a thousand times before. If thousands of people have said it, you'd probaly think it's true :P Anyway, f2p deserves Metal Boots (no drag) and Skillcapes. Well, skillcapes because then i can change mine in f2p. Are boots lower than Dragon widely used by members or generally only Dragon? If not then f2p could create a good market for rune and lower boots.
  15. If anyone has bought a t-shirt, please say so. Funny how the XXXL sold out first though  So yes, the RS population is probably overweight as a whole. But so is the USA. Not all USA. According to this: http://www.forbes.com/2007/02/07/worlds ... fat_2.html The percentage of obese people in the following countries is: Rank Country % 1. Nauru 94.5 2. Micronesia, Federated States of 91.1 3. Cook Islands 90.9 4. Tonga 90.8 5. Niue 81.7 6. Samoa 80.4 7. Palau 78.4 8. Kuwait 74.2 9. United States 74.1 10. Kiribati 73.6 11. Dominica 71.0 12. Barbados 69.7 13. Argentina 69.4 14. Egypt 69.4 15. Malta 68.7 16. Greece 68.5 17. New Zealand 68.4 18. United Arab Emirates 68.3 19. Mexico 68.1
  16. Just because a few skills were released within roughly a year of each other does NOT prove in any way that another skill is planned for release. Are you implying that every single year a new skill is going to be released? This is highly unlikely to me.
  17. I would prefer to see the current skills expanded and further improved rather than an all new skill being released.
  18. Honestly I don't know, but I do try to cut and sell about 1k yew logs after every 5k bars made and my money has not gone down yet if that helps any.
  19. So don't wear it? Those claims you have made are a bit ridiculous. You haven't seen the news a lot then. People get killed/kidnapped for no reason and a person got killed for being a goth. Also with how many people there is in RuneScape begging for things and being a complete freak... I think they would do that. You'd be surprised. All I know is from experience, I never had problems for things of this nature. Anyways, I think that shirt is pretty neat. :) Once I was wearing my tip it shirt to a special olympic event (my brother was in it) and some younger boy started asking me questions about Runescape such as my skills etc. Kind of strange to hear myself say these things out loud but also a new and interesting experience.
  20. Add to staff list please. 8-)
  21. Nice to see you in game... have not done that in a while. :)
  22. So don't wear it? Those claims you have made are a bit ridiculous.
  23. Moved. Perhaps you can get better response here.
