Investigating the Wise Old Man
Hmmm...I need to ponder all of this for a while. I should probably start keeping a notebook with all this info. Anyway, now that we've got all of this raw data (BTW, THANKS to all who've contributed), I'm going to start doing some inquiries into the nature of it all. I'll post something later.

Investigating the Wise Old Man
I haven't the faintest idea of what any of those things are...would you explain? Aznmidget, was that information from Enakhra's Lament or Rune Mysteries? I guess that if anyone can provide information about the statue, I'll look for any correlation between the info you give and our current WOM storyline. I think that for now I'll use my second account to do the new Doric's Quest and see if the changes in it correlate, too. Plus I'll read through the Histori Writings again.

Investigating the Wise Old Man
I think that's right. If someone can repost what part of Runescape history was revealed in the Enakhra's Lament quest, it would help a great deal, because I think it's related to the WOM storyline.

Eh...little problem there...I'm not a member...anymore... ok has a member tried digging in the bandit camp? I don't know, unless someone wants to try it, it would be rather helpful.

Ok, fine. Since you obviously know more about math than everyone on Earth, I'll leave you and your brain alone. I'll just go back to my lame old trigonometry. If you want to contribute, then contribute. If you want to point out an error in my calculation, point it out, but don't bash me. By the way, what exactly was so 'pretend' about my algebra?

Investigating the Wise Old Man
How do you think? I'd like to hear your opinion. Do you mean Malignus Mortifier, the NPC that appeared in the field west of Port Sarim? Interesting... Also, it seems that Jagex has put another big clue right in front of us. The new quest, "Enakhra's Lament" originates south of the Bandit Camp, where one of my hypothetical lines lies. I'll need more help. Jagex says that during the quest, Enakhra will tell you something about Runescape's history. Can somebody find out what this piece of history is and post it here for me? Thanks again to all who have helped.

I know I shouldn't comment on this, but I just can't resist. According to your logic, anything you don't understand is inherently "stupid". Good call, there. And If I were 5 years old, like you seem to believe, and could do algebra like this, I would be a super-genious. Although, comparing to what you've attempted to type, I may be just that. And if I want to speculate about the nature of the WOM, the I bloody well have every right to. Maybe Runescape would be more fun for you if you actually inquired about the world around you, like I am, instead of waiting for Jagex to spoon-feed everything to you, "dude". See, people like you are what made Socrates commit suicide.

Who's the biggest random event magnet?
I really want the Leiderhosen hat, but alas, no luck. I'm hanging out in the Cooking Guild making wine 24/7 just to get it. Curse you, forester!

boy friend? girl friend? marriage? guh?
I saw one guy in Varrock Square saying something like "Performing Weddings" and he was in full priest robes. I thought it meant either: 1. He would marry two people together, 2. He would sing and dance at your wedding. Anyway, he did a good job of doing the ceremony. Every so often he would wave his arms in the air and say "ahhhhhh". Didn't know what that meant. The people getting married wanted me to leave, but I got to stay as a "witness" Afterwards there was a reception in the Blue Moon Inn, which I stayed for. Overall, very weird, but fun.

What? You're not burning Varrock? Hehe, oh well. It would probably take a really long time, anyway. By the way, would someone fill me in on what "Oergg Mountain" is? Is it the same as Ice Mountain?

Do You Listen To Music While Playing RS?
You may think I'm crazy, but... I listen to Krafwerk (70s German Techno). I hate techno, but I really love Kraftwerk for some reason  They're that good!

instead of going "ZOMG ITS UNFAIR IM BANNED!!1!1!shift1
We should start our own version of AA:Autoers Anonymous. We could have guests that come and give their testimonies: "I autoed for years and never got in trouble for it. Then one day, right when I had almost reached 99 in all skills, BAM! Banned! One minute I had everything, the next minute it was all gone. I was so depressed, my world crashed to a halt and I started binge drinking. Don't let this happen to you: Don't auto!" By the way, thanks for quoting me in your sig. I've never been quoted before. Yays!

Or Jagex can write the WOM a program that causes your computer to emit harmful radiation until you disclose the runecrafting secrets. Or your character's health can just drain slowly.

Investigating the Wise Old Man
I don't think Jagex can make an NPC torture a player...but that would be an excellent idea. Heck, just torture 'em all. They have few uses, except as stress-relievers and firewood... This is where it will have to end for now. I don't guess that there's anything more I can do, except wait. Although, I might look into that thing that's on his desk next.

They either already know this and enjoy laughing at the antics of feeble-minded players like myself who are trying to figure it out, or they have no idea what they may have gotten themselves into. I may send it and ask some questions.

Investigating the Wise Old Man
Using logic and reasoning (yay for Philosophy classes): Zamorakian mages invaded the old Wizard's Tower and tried to steal the secrets of runecrafting in the Third or Fourth age. They couldn't get the secrets, but they burnt the Tower down. If you read the comments in one of the books, the W.O.M. says that he needs more runes, so he'll have to get them from the Wizard's Tower. If he were really that wise, couldn't he just use Runcrafting to get all the runes he wants? He obviously doesn't know much about it, so he wants to invade the Tower again to steal the Runecrafting secrets, and finish the job that the Zamorakian mages failed at so long ago. Plus, he'll probably burn the Tower down when he's through.

Harry (True Story)
Were GI Joe's around in the forties? I don't know, but I have two vintage 60's GI Joe's. But, yeah, drafting stinks, good story.

Investigating the Wise Old Man
Well, I grabbed a spade and went to the Draynor Manor spot. I looked around, dug a little, and...nothing. So my guess is that the solutions to the two equations have nothing to do with it. I can do one of two things: 1. Wait for Jagex to update the W.O.M. storyline, 2. Look for more clues. With so many interesting connection to Zaros, it is most probable that the answer is somewhere in the desert. As for my hypothetical lines, I have much reason to believe that the Digsite, the Bandit Camp, and the Wizard Guild will soon be very key in the story. I mean, if Jagex has enough time to manufacture that surveillance video, then they probably would've at least made an interesting story behind it, right? I'll hold on to my data for awhile until I get another lead.
