The Story of Red - Final Chapter Up
Thank you! :D

new prayers
I would love to see various God-specific prayers that you can use only if you have recently prayed at a Guthix/Zammy/Sara altar. Sara's prayers could be healing or protection, Zammy's prayers could do damage, and Guthix's prayers could do something else...

The Story of Red - Final Chapter Up
Hey, I'm going to try my hand at writing things for this board. Before Blipo started his "Scape" story (you should go read it, by the way), he wanted forum members to submit ideas for characters. I submitted one (the guy named Red in chapter 1), and I liked the character so much, I decided to write my own story about him. I wanted to post this story after Blipo was all finished, but he hasn't updated in awhile, and I don't want to wait. Be patient; it's a multi-chapter story that I will update every couple of days with a new chapter. If you like it and want me to continue, please say so and I will. If nobody likes it, I'll let it fall. Enjoy! The Story of Red Chapter 1 ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅWell, I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll be,̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

Investigating the Wise Old Man
When he was first introduced, he had a black scholar's hat, like the ones you wear at a graduation ceremony.

Scape
Keep it going, Blipo! *Bump* Edit: Sorry, forgot to reiterate. I can't wait till you start the main story!

An Ever-Growing List Of Limericks
Needs music :D

Scape
How many chapters till you start the main story instead of introducing the characters? Wait, I guess that depends on how many main characters there are. Never mind.

Scape
From what you've got so far, I can tell it's going to be a great read! Good job, Blipo. By the way, great description of Red. It was exactly like I had envisioned him to be!

Got Adventure?
I don't know if you need any more characters, but I thought of another if you do: Name: Zoya (female) Race: Human Build: 5.5 feet, 105 pounds Age: 34 Alignment: Good Skills: Excellent leader, very good swordswoman, good at making quick decisions under pressure. Weapons: Steel shortsword Armor: Iron plate body and green dragonhide chaps, and a steel square shield. Doesn't wear a helmet because it obscures her vision (potential Achilles heel, maybe?) Starting Region: Somewhere around Mort'ton Details: Very blunt, likes leadership and handles its responsibilities well. Enjoys slaying fierce beasts, especially Morytanian werewolves. Very tough and unshakeable, from growing up seeing slaughter almost every day. Bio: Born to a family of human colonists in Morytania, whose colony was struggling for survival against attacks from the monsters of Morytania. Age 7 - Learns swordcraft and becomes the best sword handling child in the colony. Age 11 - Learns tradecraft such as smithing and crafting (not normally taught to girls, but necessary for survival in her colony). Age 15 - Morytanian plague strikes the colony, leaving Zoya with no parents. Werewolves take advantage of the plague and attack the humans more. In this one year, Zoya killed more than 100 werewolves on her own, with a steel sword she smithed herself. Age 20 - Amidst more werewolf attacks, Zoya becomes the most prominent citizen of the colony, earning the right to become the next colonial leader. Age 25 - Current colonial leader dies, and Zoya assumes leadership. Age 30 - Zoya, detecting an increased ferocity in the werewolf attacks, decides to have the colony move farther west for safety. Some colonials remain behind, and they are never heard from again. Age 34 - Story begins.

Got Adventure?
I'll take a crack at this: Name: No real name, but people call him "Red" because of his red hair. Race: Human Build: About 6 feet, 180 pounds (kind of lanky) Age: 28/29 Alignment: Neutral; he's kind of a nihilist (often doing only what's good or convenient for himself), but is capable of kindness and doing what is right. Occupation: Archer/Drifter Skills: Makes his own explosives, and is deadly accurate with bows and throwing knives. Weapons: Other than his explosives, a simple oak shortbow and three throwing knives. Armour: Hard leather body and chaps. Wears a wide-brimmed hat that he took from a man he killed when he was young. Starting region: Let's say Kandarin, in the town of Hemenster. Details: Prefers to be alone, and makes an effort to speak as little as possible. He's clever and scheming. He will often do whatever it takes to make money, including smuggling and bounty-hunting. Bio: Age 2 - Adopted by monks when he was abandoned by his mother, leaving him with no name. 10 - Left the monastery, pursuing a craftsman's apprenticeship in Burthorpe. 13 - Takes up archery to defend Burthorpe from invading trolls and corrput White Knights. Also learns knife-throwing skills at this time. 16 - Begins making explosives to aid Burthorpe insurgents fighting the Asgarnian king. 17 - Leaves Burthorpe, begins life as a drifter. 18 - Is hired to kill a bandit lord by police chief of the Seer's Village. Later kills the bandit lord, taking his wide-brimmed hat, and becoming a real bounty-hunter. 20 - Aids a weapon-smuggling operation in Port Khazard. Delivers illegal weapons to a gang on Karamja. 22 - Continues drifting, still engaging in bounty-hunting. 25 - Hired by Barbarians in the Barbarian Outpost to transport weapons to Barbarians near Edgeville. Gets caught by Asgarnian border guards, spends a few weeks in prison. After leaving prison, he gets paid to kill a crime boss in Varrock. 27 - Becomes involved in a secret plot to assassinate the king of Varrock. The consiracy is exposed, with most of its members being executed. Red barely escapes the Varrock guards and flees to Kandarin. 28 - Story begins. Hope that suits ya!

Investigating the Wise Old Man
How do you know this?

Compare the rs economy with....
There is such a thing as stability in RS. When the whole party hat scandal happened awhile ago, THAT made for a lot of destability. People were scrambling to sell their party hats before the market became flooded with P-Hats, causing their value to drop dramatically. Just a hypothesis, but I think that the faster the price of rares changes, the less stability there is in the economy. Those two things seem to reflect each other. Anyway, if there were to be a hostile Communist takeover of Runescape, all funds would be equally distributed to everybody. Be happy you don't live under Communism. It stinks!

Whats this? A free rune axe?
Was it the whole axe or just the axe head? Either way, good catch.

Investigating the Wise Old Man
I think it's also in Draynor Mansion.
-
Investigating the Wise Old Man
I think that happens when you talk to Miss Schism and you look through his window.

Investigating the Wise Old Man
Finally, a semi-good connection! There is a gallows up in the northern part of the Draynor area. I've wondered why that was there. If I were to make a hypothesis knowing this, I'd say that the WOM and the necromancer are in some kind of alleigance to summon something really big. But it may just be a pseudo-connection.

Rate this weapon
Well, realistically, it's nearly impossible to fletch a bow from a piece of wood in 2 seconds. Realistically? In Runescape? I'd like to see your world of fire bolts and talking cows :P I thought those nice men wearing clean white coats said I'd never have to go back to the padded room! Run away!

GAG
*cough* *retch* *vomit* *oink* It's a little like HAM...at least they had some pictures of real ham...mmm, ham... :D

I was just pointing out that realistically, it's nearly impossible to correctly use two whips at once.

if you could summon a character from another game...
I would summon the high-tech Israeli army from SuperPower 2 that I built with my bare hands. Nuclear missles included. I conquered the entire Middle East and lost only 3 personnel.
