  1. What's happening there now is that the Israelis are dropping tons of leaflets all over Lebanon warning people to stay indoors. Most likely, they're keeping indoors and alleviating their boredom with RS. They don't really have anything to worry about unless they're active Hezbollah operatives.
  2. If I personally had a friend in this situation I'd laugh a little too, not because it's funny but it's a diverison from the scary thought of my friend's death. :( I really hope your friend and brother are alive and well. My prayers are for them now!
  3. Man, parents can be so authoritarian!
  4. Not 3 minutes ago I was in level 2 of the stronghold training on fleshies when a level 3, generic-looking characters shows up between the 2 doors leading into the area. Him: Can I have food please? Me: No (I'm a player mod, he sees my crown) Him: Are you a member? Me: No Him: I am Me: And you're a level 3? Him: No level 72 (Now I'm just messing with him) Me: But it says level 3 by your name Him: No my main is 72 Him: It has 58 att 60 str 51 def 44 range 58 mage 44 prayer Me: And you're still a level 3?! Holy cow! Him: No 72 Me: It says 3 by your name though Him: I know all on my main Me: You know all on your main? Him: Yes Me: So you don't know anything on this account? Him: What? Him: Shut up, I'll own you in wildy Me: No you won't, you're a level 3 Him: No, 72!!!! Me: But it says 3 by your name Him: My main!!!1! Me: What about your main? Him: Aaaaahhhhhhh He runs away and I laugh hysterically.
  5. Malicious or not, he downloaded something he wasn't supposed to. Who's to say he would have stopped there? He could have easily been put under the impression that things called keyloggers are good, and from there he would have downloading something that was actually malicious. You need to look a little deeper than the nature of the software. If I may quote you, "Wow, you're dumb."
  6. Funk is music that is funky. Like disco that sounds good.
  7. Scanned everything and it's all clear. Gave little brother a good talk about downloading things without parents' permission, threatened to kill or maim if he does not. Whew, that was close. At least I'll have my own computer in college. I hope. \
  8. I logged on to my computer this afternoon, which I share with my brother, and in the process of starting up something pops up on the screen. It's a little box that's titled "Perfect Keylogger: Evaluation Version." I stop breathing and I'm pretty sure I had a brief cardiac arrest for a second or two. In the box were four buttons, saying "Buy Now", "Keep Evaluating", "Enter Registration Code", and "Exit." I exit the thing and immediately go for the Control Panel into Add or Remove Programs. Sure enough, there's the Perfect Keylogger software. I remove it and several other things that I wasn't familiar with just for safety. I run a Norton anti-virus scan and while it's scanning, I go to the other room and have a little chat with my brother. I ask him if he knows anything about software called Perfect Keylogger, and his response, which I anticipated, was "Why do you want to know?" which is a typical guilt response from him. I tell him I found it on the computer, and he says, "Yeah, I installed that last night to help log my chats." At this point I was ready to break his neck. I explain to him calmly that a keylogger is a virus designed to record your passwords so people can hack into your accounts, such as Runescape and the particular game he was playing. He then asked if I got rid of it, and I said "Yes." He then goes crazy and says, "I needed that! It was important! I'm going to delete something of your now, stupid!" Extremely fortunate for me, though, was the fact that he downloaded the keylogger after I was all finished on the computer and before he shut it down for the night. Norton is still running now, so I hope I took care of everything. For all I know, my account is safe, but I'm obviously waiting until the scan stops to make sure. And thanks, Jagex, for reminding me that it's always best to change passwords and recovery questions AFTER scanning for viruses. Here's a list of emotes representing how I'm feeling right now:   :wall: #-o :shame:   :wall:  :!: And if he EVER does this again, I swear...
  9. I would ask someone inside Jagex to organize a huge funeral on the day I died. People would come, pay their last respects to my character (which, by persuading Jagex enough, would be lying in a coffin in the Varrock Church (I expect them to code this into the game  )). Everyone would line up in the pews, sing a hymn, and my friends would say some words about me. Then the coffin would close, and a few hundred gnomes would be the pallbearers and carry my coffin to Lumbridge. There would be a large train, following my coffin, and the gnomes take me inside Lumbridge Castle and bury me in the courtyard. There would be a huge headtstone that when examined would read: "Here lies KCHughes, a hero, a champion, and a devoted moderator." It would be an inspiration to all the newbs who saw it, and they would strive to be as great as I. Then there would be a massive fireworks show. Just because.
  10. Well i certainly i can, and make your own religion too! But i need characteristics and god of what you want. For example, if you want me to create you a ghod you mus rellen tyhis form: -IS: GOOD EVIL OR JUST -WHAT IS? MALE FEMALE ALL -WHAT ELEMNTS USE? FIRE EARTH ETC ALL -WHEN IS PRESENT? WAR PEACE ETC ALL -IS IT ACIENT OR NEW? -ORIENTAL OCCIDENTAL INDIAN OR AMERICAN TIPE? -CULT SECT OR RELIGION? -IS THE GOD OF THE DEATH LIFE OR ETC OR ALL? and some extra miscellania information you want add... LOL Sweet. I want to be the God of Funk. \ I'm not good or evil. I just boogie down. Male. I use the element of MUSIC! When I am present, everyone gets their groove on. New god, obviously. I'm going with Occidental. A religion. As said before, I'm the God of Funk. My sceptre is a golden bass guitar.
  11. How dare you give Clint Eastwood 2/10. I still like yours, 9/10
  12. Same guy that made the cult a few threads down? :-s Can you make me a god?
  13. I didn't read any of this before I posted. J/K! I usually read whole topics, but I'm a fast reader.
  14. I go through my favorite Monty Python sketches...the Spam sketch, the Dead Parrot sketch, the Hitler sketch, the Funniest Joke in the World sketch. Sometimes I tell really bad jokes. Sometimes I type the lyrics to songs I like. What really annoys me is when people say "Wanna see a banana fly?" That tends to happen a lot.
  15. Yay for sequels! =D> \ If you haven't read "The Story of Red" yet, I suggest you read at least the first chapter of that for some more information (You can find that story along with some others in my sig.) Once again, if people like it, I'll keep updating, and if I don't get a lot of responses, then I'll let if fall. Here it is! Chapter 1 ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅYou leave me no choice but destroy your entire village!̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ
  16. If it's big enough to put a cannon in, certainly it's big enough to jump into and hide in...Jagex should make "hiding in backpack" a new feature.
  17. The point is NOT that it's a bad idea, the point is that it's hardly a new concept...
  18. Hi

It makes more "since"? It doesn't matter whether it makes sense or not, it's still wrong. I get really annoyed at misplaced apostrophes. Geez... *clicks heels* Sieg heil!
  19. 9/10 Very cool-looking.
  20. Who would flame the largest free update in a very long time? I used to be a member, but I found that there wasn't anything in members that I enjoyed that wasn't already in F2P.
  21. Toupee, or not Toupee... Why pay extra if you have to pay anyway? Just get Paypal or a debit card (Credit Cards are EVIL!) :P
