Preservative 211 Damages DNA (Found in SOFTDRINKS!!)
I'm wondering if this article is really true...it has the overbearing stench of propaganda.

Investigating the Wise Old Man
Just for simplicity, we're going to keep with the 1 hour before the TET event. It's simple and nobody has to do any thinking. That means 7:00 PM UK, 11:00 AM PST, 12:00 PM MST, 1:00 PM CST, 2:00 PM EST.

OK, the meetings will be restarting since this update gave us a lot of new ideas. The usual spot, world 106.

fellow teens... this ever happen to u?
Well, I haven't seen this answer yet, so... I just write checks. Saves me lots of trouble hauling currency around everywhere. A bonus is when people see you writing a check and think "Oh, he must be an adult and have a bank account and everything..."

All they're doing is proving how stupid Nazism is. They're extremely good at that. Each time they do it it's more and more pathetic. And in case you didn't know, Russia beat them. :P

Yes, it seems the free world has been shafted. At least before the update we had access to both floors of the museum, now we only get one, almost empty floor.

It is printable, yes, but my printer can't handle it. Besides, someone already took the liberty of drawing all over a map for me.

We haven't ever heard of this book before, the first I've heard of it.

Nice find there Skeeran. I haven't bothered looking at all the bookcases again for easter eggs, or in this case, possible clues. :o Get the book and find out what's in it! (unless it's one of those things where you can't remove the book :P ).

Quit your whining. 100,000 is plenty, you greasy rat. From the old God Letters, Guthix said something very interesting when asked about pures: Very interesting...thanks to Mememe for finding it first.

Investigating the Wise Old Man
WOM showed great interest in the half of the Shield of Arrav that I showed him. He offered something like 30 GP for it, way more than he usually offers for little trinkets (he offered me 12 for Silverlight, I think). According to the official histories, the shield was something of incredible magical power that was sought by both mortals and gods (and remember, it has the colors of Armadyl and an indistinguishable symbol on it). Wenlok will remember this, but both of us went hunting for the other half of the shield after I found the first one, and we found one. We tried to put them together by using them with each other, but it didn't work. I looked at the quest guide, and joining the two halves of the shield was not involved. My guess is that the Shield requires a special magical ability in order to fix properly, and I'm guessing that WOM has that ability. Just throwing this out there: What if WOM were to necromance Arrav using necromancy runes from the Wizard's tower and the Shield?

Yeah, that just didn't happen. Anyways, we know that the penguins from the Cold War quest used a flying machine, and one of our theories was that the blimp on WOM's desk was a small-scale prototype of one (and the thing under his bed was the unfortunate pilot). All WOM would have to do is find some way to make it large enough for him to fly, and with his magical abilities, it could be done easily. Speaking of, we never really found out what that thing under his bead was. I've heard about 6 different reports that all conflict. Hopefully we can start museum combing next week. I swear, the answers to all our questions are in the museum/histories update. I expect this thread to grow by leaps and bounds when it comes out. I'm going to be gone for three days come the weekend, so don't kill each other...apart from the usual Wenlok/Alebcay shootouts, that is. :P

Hmm, that makes sense from what we thought. Isn't Armadyl alive and well, according to Saradomin from one of the earlier God Letters? Icthlarin was the first god of the mahjarrat, though. Zaros overthrew him and became the god of evil, whereas previously Icthlarin was the god of the dead. Armadyl and Icthlarin could have been the original two gods aside from Guthix, and when Zaros and the mahjarrat entered Gielinor they decided to follow Icthlarin.

Hehe...the WOM thread on the official forums is bumpkis, in my opinion. Those things on the first page aren't official confirmations, Mod Emilee just reposted what someone else had posted earlier, AKA those aren't her thoughts. Ugh, every time I go on the official forums I want to throw up. Our concepts are light years ahead of what they're talking about over there. I mean, just look at this masterpiece of a theory: Yeah... I'm surprised that Jagex didn't update this week. They usually do it on Tuesdays, right? Oh well, I'm still camping in the museum.

PLease NO!!!!!!!!!!
I had a friend that went bald when he was 17. It happens to some folks early, I guess. I would think you would be more afraid of a scalp infection, because that seems like it would take a lot of painful treatment or something.

Nothing? Not even some of Randox's mysterious carpets? Finally, some light on the museum. I have my character camped out inside waiting.

Accents and stereotypical views....
I think you're talking about the Boston accent. "Pahk da cah, in da Hahvahd yahd." "Wicked awesome." That about sum it up? Most people from Boston talk that way, but once you get about 60 miles from the city, you hear it less often. One accent I can't stand is the Brazillian Portugese accent. There has recently been an explosion of Portugese speaking Brazillians in my town, and I can't understand a single one of them, even the ones that are my friends. Boston, Manhattan, that general area. I heard one person once condense the name of the city Worcester (normally pronounced "War-chest-er" from what I could gather) to "Wahksta."

Accents and stereotypical views....
Northeastern American accents bother me the most. I think that they say actual words about 25% of the time they're speaking, and the other 75% is just a bunch of syllables strung together that mean nothing. People tell me I sound angry whenever I talk. I emphasize my L's a little too much and I often pronounce I's like long E's. Girls think it's cute, though.

That's a good point, I don't think we've talked about that yet...or have we? It seems like a long time ago if we have. We still don't know what or where the elder dragons are, but we know that the KBD is a "dragonkin," or something. Either way, I will continue to practice my marksmanship until we get an update...

No, you DO waste time, and you make yourself look stupid in doing so. OK, the first post has been overhauled. If I missed anything important, let me know. I might need a memory refresher myself. :P

Investigating the Wise Old Man
Ok, I've updated that chart a little. You'll see that I've added some people to the bottom tier, the Keldagrim Dwarves, a guy named Sariboth who lives on top of a dungeon in Brimhaven, the Bedabin Camp and the Bandit Camp. The monks of Entrana are also on the fourth tier, because WOM visited Enrana not too long ago. The book about his life ends as it begins talking about when WOM ventured underneath Entrana. I think something happened to him when he went down there. Just a guess.

Investigating the Wise Old Man
OK, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that we're at a dead end until Jagex gives us the new histories, which might not happen till the end of this month with the way things are looking now. We need to try a different approach. Remember that pyramid chart I made awhile back? That chart listed every NPC that we had good reason to believe that WOM has made contact with recently. That never really got off the ground, but I think we should revisit it to get us off the ground again. At the bottom tier of the pyramid were Larry the zookeeper, the residents of Shilo village, Reldo, Thurgo, the Chieftan of Tai Bwo Wannai, possibly Arrav, and the museum curator. Reldo and Thurgo won't tell us anything yet, so they're off. We can't talk to Arrav, so he's off too. We won't get anything out of the museum curator until the update probably, so we'll have to wait on him. That leaves, unfortunately, all the members areas - Shilo Village and Tai Bwo Wannai. I remember that we had conclusive proof that WOM had physically been to both of those places sometime in the recent past, so these areas could contain something that would let us know what he was doing. If ANY member would like to, I think we should start by interviewing the residents of Shilo. He must have talked to one of them while he was there, maybe they can give us more information. The Chieftan may also, and possibly anyone else in Tai Bwo Wannai. I'm going to revise that little chart and keep it updated on here, if you don't mind.
