I don't know if this was just bad luck for me or not but... You may want to get more lockpicks just in case. It took me around 50+ lockpicks to open that stupid lock. Don't forget antipoisons as well! You can probally do it though. PS: I was only level 53 thieving.

Yes he would probablly hit higher with melee. That's why you use Protect from Mage and keep a safe distance from him so he can't melee you.

The ice gloves are required if you want to hold a weapon, like a water staff. But they are not needed, and you can just bring all the required runes and manually cast your spells.

When I bought my first rune chain from the Champions Guild :shock: . I was no longer a n00b, at least until I got pked 5 mins later with that rune chain on and skulled. The gyu who pked me gave me some stuff back though.

When I was getting Ghostly Robes, I used Tip.It's Ghostly Robes Guide. It gives accurate map pictures and is simple and to the point. It was an error when they first made Pure Essence. ANYONE, including f2p, who had either 30+ mining or 30+ runecrafting had all their Rune Essence turned into Pure Essence, which gave them lots of member items and unable to use it. Also, when someone ends their membership, if they still have Pure Essence, they'll now be able to use it since Pure Essence does all runes, f2p or not. However, f2p players are still only able to obtain Rune Essence by their own means. Pure Essence must be bought in f2p worlds, regardless if you're member or not. EDIT: I was never aware they even made it f2p... I thought the rule for the change from rune essence to pure essence, was that if you had a members object on your account at the time of the chance, your rune essence would be pure. PS: I was not there at the update, I heard this information.

For pratical uses, I would choose D2H because the Great Axe stinks by itself. For just outfit uses, I may still choose D2H because it does look cooler, but I suppose Great Axe may be better since it requires 70 attack.

If you have the clay already, just get like 14 buckets and go to falador west bank. Near the bank is a water pump and just fill your buckets and make 14 wet clays or something.

The only gloves F2P can use are the colored ones sold in the Canafis Store. They're sold there for members who have completed Priest in Peril and cost 650gp each. They have no +stats really. Street price for them in F2P is probablly 1k-5k depending on the seller. There are no F2P colored boots besides the ones you mentioned.

You don't have to press the little button, anywhere on the run icon will switch your mode. You can also just hold control and click places to run to there
