Yes, IIRC a mod posted on the day of release that the animations don't mean anything.

I was helping out some people getting their trimmed capes with cw games (I got wins out of it for hybrid armor). It seemed like if you were in game at the very end, it'd count. So they'd hop around starting games with people like me, then come back when games were ending. This is from what I saw while I afk'ed in there lol.

While I sort of agree, you basically responded to his tired out phrase with another tired out phrase "you'll get used to change." Every time something is changed, that's always the one of the things people say to defend it. While it's true cause that's what we as humans do (adapt), I don't think it's a good defense for any update. I do agree the graphics of the old armors were in need of an upgrade to match the new ones.

Hey my cockroach cape is still... a cockroach cape. Overall I like the update. While some of the armors do seem busy and a little fancy/decorative, I'd take it over the old armors.

I remember reading a sticky on RSOF where they were planning to make wc and mine more like the other plots, i.e. less click intensive. Can't find it anymore. :unsure:

urgh :(. Out of the 4 games I've done with Soul Elders, none have gone my way. For 3, I couldn't get in game - can't handle the lag at the beginning and enter late. And the one I did get in, another 2 clans crashed and we tied. I will try at s later time like the times you suggested :grin: . EDIT: Stayed for one more since it was same color as previous game and won :D. 4th win, only 96+ more.

Oh I remember someone told me about Soul Elders when I started getting hybrid stuff a couple months ago. Was confused cause I thought it was a CC and could never join it :unsure: . Thanks for all the info, I'll give it another shot and see how it goes with them. Also, how many games did it take you to get your first bottom? Is it around 100 wins like I've seen in some guides? EDIT: One reason I wasn't seeing people advertise FC earlier today was because I was in a different soul wars world lol. Forgot 44 is more active.

I'm 129, no ss/turm though. EDIT: Started to rethink doing getting the pants. Just wasted the past 2 hours and no wins. The time I did get on the right team I didn't get in the game because it was unbalanced.

Do they call out fc in the waiting room? I haven't seen any calls except for one guy who tried to start a FC, which didn't work out.

So I want to do Soul Wars to get Trickster bottoms but not sure how to go about it. Last time I tried, I only got 3 wins out of 10 games or so. I tried to follow people who looked to be in a clan or w/e, but I don't think that worked. Any tips?

Wow wtf is that fail that is extremly stupid game mechanic for a supposed "safe" minigame I mean yeah sure, but what would you expect with a full inventory? Wait, really? Jagex fixed this exact loophole/glitch a few weeks ago. They had fixed it so when your weapon is unequipped it sends an item from your inventory to your bank, freeing a space for your weapon. In my case, it sent my ice gloves (:l). I assume whatever they did with this new update un-did it...

Friend said he did it by running in and out w/ goliaths. I guess if you do it quick enough you avoid the mage attack and some of the melee? I tried it and died several times :C.

On the RSOF, someone said they rates weren't as they should have been and are now fixed, as you can get multiple pages from a single chest. This was on my phone and I don't remember if it was a player, forum mod, jmod, someone quoting a jmod, or w/e. :blink: EDIT: ninja'ed

I used this guide and a similar set-up adjusted my lower levels. I just used polypore and blood barrage (due to lack of EEE and SS). For a shield, I used a blessed spirit shield :grin: .

I used a virtual machine when I tried to create the new account (university provided), so different IP and no stored cookies or anything.
