  1. If you really don't want to do RFD, consider: -Klanks Gauntlets (+1 or +2 str I think -- Underground Pass) -Cooking/Goldsmith/Chaos Gauntlets (same bonus as klanks, though I dont know what it is... -- Family Crest) Both quite straight forward quests. I think quests are great really :/ I look in my bank, I see quest items, I look at my skills, I couldn't of gotten them without quests. *quest emotes*
  2. Them avians are good for the lower charges, especially if you have Bones to Peaches. Without Bones to Peaches, well you'll be cutting it quite close.
  3. Blue Dragons cover the minimum charge and give good profit, definately not enough to cover the initial recharge cost.
  4. I doubt there is a reasonable monster that will cover the 900k cost. Unless you count the KQ.
  5. I doubt it, unless you have an empty space in your inventory while using it (thus recieving an extra bar).
  6. *Points to thieving* *Points to it again* *taps it* *Punches a hole through the stat sig* ... Well, great idea :P I like it, it's great. Could of sworn I saw this idea on the official forums (not accusing you of anything, I'm sure you were the one who posted it there, and I'm sure I added my support there.) Anyways yeah... *Repairs stat sig*
  7. Well, I'm not sure on this but you could always try. Have a friend with you, attack the bot. Run to a square with someone a lower level than the bot... Maybe the bot will attack the lower level person (hopefully your a good friend and supplied them with good food) and you could take out the bot, rune chain and all?
  8. There are plenty of level 3 skillers who do PP, they do it quite well too. But these people usually already have 99 Thieving on their main account.
  9. To the threadstarter. Let's look at the things you can control to avoid (or to a point) this from happening. -don't wear expensive items -meet somewhere less crowded -be kind and polite, if someone asks you for something say 'No, sorry. I do not have cash on me' / 'Your capable of gaining your own wealth and buying items' etc, etc. Be sure to always say sorry, thank you, and goodluck. -ignore list is your friend -add business contacts and put public chat on 'friends' -use clanchat There is a lot you can control here, before you go 'venting' and blowing off steam. Try actually avoiding the situation?
  10. Mauranius, some families cannot afford more than one computer. And, if you remember the 'how many accounts have you made?' poll indicated that most player have atleast 2-3 accounts! Now, lets do some simple math using a scenario. [scenario] A family of that consists of a Father, Mother, Son, and a daughter. Four people. Each of them have the following: -A main account -A skiller -A pure/playerkiller [/scenario] 4 (family members) * 3 (accounts each) = 12 (accounts total). Two more than the limit you suggested. This could ban two of their accounts, lets say, the son's main and the daughter's skiller. This would make them sad? This will make the parents guilty. This guilt, will turn into anger (mild or furious). What do parents do when their children have been wronged? They correct it. Parents have alot of clout with Jagex. Parents complaining is not good for Jagex. Which could result in the whole family quitting and joining another mmorpg. Lets say all their main accounts were members. 4 (accounts) * 5 (dollars, US) = 20. Whichs is 20 dollars a month Jagex misses out on, $240 a year, this is quite a bit. Nothing compared to what Jagex makes with ads. But still, there could be plenty of families just like this scenario. Adds up.

    OMG!!! P2p-ers!!!

I don't understand your rant. Are you basing it on sterotypes? I don't appreciate it. I refuse to say my age. I'll tell you I'm f2p right now but not if I ever was a member (but my stats sig will give it away.) I was f2p till 101 combat- I was going for top 200 as I tried everyway to become a member. Now, some members are jerks. Some members are too young to play. And many break the rules, but the same can be said for f2ps, we're all human. You can't say you were never mean to someone- even if you regretted doing so afterwards it still counts. Wounds can heal but still leave scars. Now, a lot of f2p's beg, a lot of p2p's beg. There's p2p's who get on my nerves, and there's f2ps. I'm pretty sure you've gotten the point by now. I think you have no right to judge people on their age- if their under 13, perhaps. But, if their parents think they can handle it; you have no right. Someone's age should not discredit their views and opinions- it may even provide a different side you may not of seen or even considered. Instead, try judging on maturity, in the end that's all that matters. An adult can act like a child whereas a child could act like an adult- bear that in mind. There is no way you can justify basing any opinions on anyone because of their age :|
  12. Get the following before members: 40 Attack 50 Strength 1 Defence 40 Range -whatever mage level you'd like, aslong as it's under your hp- In members, find a monster you feel has the best balance. Difficulty, hitpoints, and crowdedness. Meaning, if you are fond of Rock Crabs, kill them on Waterbirth island rather than their usual area. As for when you should start pking, after you get those stats, do some f2p pking to get yourself familarized (or re-familarized with it.) This is just my advice, your descrition of what you'd like your pure to be was very vague.
  13. Go to the bone yard, bury b bones (15k exp/hour). Don't wear anything. Go to a crowded world so the bones respawn faster. No one should target you still, if you don't wear anything. If someone does, it won't happen alot. Just go back and continue. I did this back in f2p, goodluck.
  14. I'd recomend Pyramid Plunder. The artifacts will pay for your food, and you'll almost always get a sceptre every 1m exp (assuming you loot every chest possible). I've gotten four sceptres during the time it took me to get 99 Thieving, bare in my that I did not loot any chests between 94-97 (was lazy).
  15. I'm quite sure they we're using an auto talker, I have 100 wpm myself (well I usually push 90). He was using Shake and glow 3 at one, very fast (fast enough that it never stopped shaking).
  16. I just recently lost my membership- so I decided to be productive while I re-subscribe. I was firemaking at the new Grand Exchange (best f2p fm'ing area, probably better than Ecto/monk place in members too.) Suddenly, someone started spamming that they were selling their account! I immediately reported them for Account sharing/trading. I warned them (as they we're spamming, and obviously using an auto talker) to stop before their account gets into further risk! (funny how I care even though they don't care what happens to their account.) So, I was at a crossroads; I was going to do one last report based on the spamming, but I didn't know to report for Macro'ing (use of 3rd party programs) or Offensive Language (spamming). I didn't want to spam Jagex with reports, so I picked Offensive Language- unsure and disappointed. Now to my question, which IS the right choice? Report for Offensive Language or Macroing? Thanks to everyone who puts in their imput and helps me better understand this!
  17. Yeah, I've had several friends play the 'haxed' card on me. They've always been under level 100, i'm not picky with whom I make friends with. Usually a month after knowing them, they got hacked. They need money. Wait- this wouldn't have anything to do with us hanging out and you wanting to borrow some certain equipment of mine, only days previous? Only hackers out there, are those who rather throw their rl friends under the bus for 100,000 geepees, really sad people who think people want to play rs3. Or people who make up a situation to get them something they otherwise would of actually had to work for. Funny how I'm completely willing to loan out items and money, how to aid people when their scammed. But people still think they have to lie- or complain night and day about how they got hacked and how they could use twice the amount of money I usually loan out.

    Enough is enough!

I personally don't have a problem with the new updates. Some initial ones, but after I use them- or find alternatives I'm fine with them. Jagex is doing great- as a company they do great things with income they gain from RuneScape! (Okay! Perhaps their not funding Costumer Support as much as we'd liked but! :wall: !) They Give to charities, they (are, or almost) carbon neutral. AND they give plenty of job opportunities. How, how, can you even think about insulting a company such as Jagex (as long as it's not about Costumer Support :uhh: ) Before you vent, punch something else rather than a company trying to help YOU. Trying to give job opportunities to YOU (indirectly). Trying to help YOUR future ( being carbon neutral ). And trying to keep their game how they want it, are you the creator? How would you feel if you made a game, with your sweat and years of efforts smashed, bashed, broken, and shattered by a bunch of 12 year olds who shouldn't even be playing your game (not calling you a 12 year old, but lets face it. Most people on the Official Forums ranting about old pc, and staking are :|) I don't blame you for venting! It's how you vent.
  19. When I heard PC was changed, I was devastated. Never complained. I adapted quite quick- I was f2p until level 101. So I was used to killing monsters. I'm now quite fond of slayer, and I'm more open to skills. The duel arena, I never really staked much. I believe most people who staked were staking were honest players. Jagex' solution was quite harsh, they could limited stakes to 100k and that'd be plenty (real world traders usually trade by the million, I believe.) GE; I was quite against this at first. Still am in a few ways. It's hurting skillers, but. Skillers should have enough skills and money tucked away to keep them stable, while the prices stablize. (GE is GREAT for getting clue equipment! :D) All and all, I don't think your very high leveled. Though that doesn't make your rant any less valid. You may think differently if you were, but you may not. You're what I consider mid-level, but definitions can differ from person to person; if you consider yourself high level- than that's fine with me. I'm sorry you feel how you feel, you're venting and may not mean everything you say. Hopefully you adapt and grow on these new updates.
  20. Haha love your sig and just had to check this out. Goodluck, f2p is incredably hard. I gave up at 1072 total myself, don't give in :D
  21. I personally wouldn't mind if it was removed. I can train faster using slayer rather than PC now.
  22. Eeep Zubee. I could NOT get on that whole week of easter. I dont see how it's my fault that I'm now short a pathetic ring and an emote that leaves an emptiness each time I dance. Truly pathetic. I could not get access to a computer since mine literally blew up (was in for repairs, I swear it happened right before easter, and it took a bloody month to be repaired since the darned company thought my comp was a laptop and lost it -_-....) Like rawr, non tradable holiday items SHOULD be re-released. Shuttup if you hate the idea. It would solve probably an average of 5 rants a day for a small price.
  23. I slap you silly till you pass out. Then I move you into the middle of the nearest city, and combine sword+head to make corpse while the townsfolk laugh their [wagon] off. MY HILL
  24. In a nearby province I auto talk "Jard_Y_Dooku is giving free phats at The Hill" a thousand times. I wait till you get sick of the noobs and kill them. I swiftly collect their bodies and drown you in their blood. MY HILL.
