If a pmod can't stand few following newbs, then he probably isn't suitable to be a pmod. I just tell them that I won't give any free stuff because it's against my philosophy. Works very often. If it doesn't, I can always just be quiet.

So 440 dudes with 90+ have united and haven't even said a word about the new drop to their friends? :P Pretty unlikely if you ask me. I believe they are going to get a special drop in future. Jagex just doesn't want to make instant billionaires and now they wait till right amount of players have 90+ slayer. Personally I believe the new drop will either be a dragon 2hander or dragon boots.

If we took all these "end of the world" forecasts seriously, we should wait for it every day. Maybe I should party today, after all it might be the last day. I bet you got that 2012 from the maya culture's calendar. It says somewhat the following: at that year (don't remember if there was an exact date, too busy to google now) the world will go "through another port" and it will lead into something big. Basically that's the message. World takes one step ahead according to them. Personally I wouldn't be too scared of their forecast. WW3 might come in near future, tho. It has been really close few times (1962 and 2001 for example) and eventually it will start. I wrote an essay on it to my blog, shame it is in Finnish.

Knife bug You were able to wear knives with a bug in rsc. These boosted your weapon aim and power, so people abused it and hit 30s with relatively low str. Needless to say how dangerous it was in pkin. The most famous people banned for this were Angel2002 (later I Wicked I) and Grubyyyy (forgot how many y's). Killable bankers With one cheating program (don't know if it's legal to say names here, so I'll just call it with that name) you were able to kill bankers. This didn't work with a normal Runescape client, so it wasn't widely abused. I believe it was fixed pretty fast. Bearded ladies When the mage who was able to change your looks, gender and clothes came, there was a little bug. If you changed into a female, wore a girl-plate and changed back to a man you were able to wear a girl plate while being a man. Your character was a normal man character (man's body) and when you took away that body you couldn't wear it again. Later with a simple editor it was possible to create bearded ladies who actually had a woman body. ^In this pic Bluerose uses the glitch, not a bad program. This glitch was widely used among players (even I used it) and no1 got banned because of it. Probably every high lvl character at those days at least tested it.

Just be brave and go to talk to her by yourself or try getting her phone number from someone/somewhere. It might be a bit hard to go to her and start a chat, but believe me. It starts to bother you more if you haven't even tried than if you have tried and failed.

Not really a petition, but there was a gallup at Iltalehti's (Finnish daily released news magazine) on president elections some months ago. Well, at the internet (major finnish boards+irc channels) people were asked to vote Timo Soini. He won that gallup with a huge difference. At real elections Soini got only 3,4% of all votes. Btw, I voted Soini and only because of his political ideas.

Yesterday when I heard of this, I felt pretty empty. Mario was one of the 2 greats, 66 and 99. I liked Mario's style to play more, he even dropped his gloves once in a while and played a lot more aggressive. Btw little statistic: 99 = 1,92 points per game 66 = 1,88 -||- At his best season, he played 76 games and made 85+114=199 points. That's almost 2,62 points per game! He also made 5 "different" goals in 1 game; one on 5 vs 5, one on powerplay, one on shorthanded, one from a penalty shot and one to the empty net. If he hadn't been injured few times, retired once and had a cancer, he could have broken 99's records.

Get your facts right. There was wars between the major clans (wanderers and gladz for example) even before wildy. Percentually there was bigger wars back in those days than in nowadays. At the biggest wars even up to 5% of every player playing that moment was there. Now there's less than 0,01%. There's few pics. Shame I've lost the best pics, but hope you get the idea of wars in 2001. I hope some old Gladz/Wanderers member has old war pics hosted somewhere. Good and evil magic were different skills and you were able to level them. If you had played back in then and actually be higher than 10cb, the word "fear" should remind you something... Later those skills were made into one skill, magic. There was pray good and pray evil, tho. You were able to train them, but there was no use for them. Later they were combined into a one skill, prayer.

If I wanted to make a petition, I'd go to streets and/or to people's doors, not to the Internet. Internet petitions almost never work and at least I'd trust more on something that people have signed with their own hand, not with something typed with a keyboard. Personally I don't sign online petitions because I don't believe they actually work. If they worked, Matti NykÃÆÃâÃâänen would sing at Eurovisions, the airport of Malmi would be left there and Finland would sign out from EU.

If someone commits a sucide because of a game, you can't really blame the game. If people close to you (friends, family, etc) can't see your problem, then it's their problem. Someone should have done something before the addiction got to that point. Also, usually there are many other reasons too. Getting fired, divorce, financial problems and so on, the bannage (no matter what game) was just the final hit, not the main reason.

They've banned members every time there has been a mass ban, even this time. Why? Because banning autoers shows that they care about the game and thus give a good reason for people to become members. If they let p2p server be "autoplaces", there would be only autoing members soon left. It might give them a little loss now, but in a long run it pays itself back. Also, how many of these people who got banned will keep playing? Probably like half or more. This means that they didn't lose 15,000*5$.

Their autodetection and antiauto things have been getting better and better through the time. Simple color clickers don't work in rs2 anymore without a lot of "randomizing" as rs2 detects those things better than rsc did. Also at least old mass bans have been made with a "trap". Make some fuction to send an X-packed (just an example) when done thing Y. If someone does thing Y and it doesn't send the packet X, then you get "registered". It's not really hard to set that kind of a trap. Autoing has been always there and will never totally die, but it can be made harder and harder to auto. Jagex always has the last word as they can arrange mass bannages. It kills autoing from the majority for a while and that's enough for me. If they wanted to fully stop autoing, they'd need to get rid of the whole game. There's always someone who autos, no matter what. As long as there's 15-150 autoers I don't really mind it (as I probably won't even see any), but when there's 15,000 banned accounts and autoers everywhere, then I do care. Age means nothing. It's easy to get a bot from a friend or someone. Installing and running it can't be hard. Also, there's a possibility that he had played on a computer (friend's place, school, library, etc) that someone had used to auto. Look at the quote below (taken from runescape.com)
