  1. Saturday: hardcore drinking Sunday: hardcore hangover Pretty basic new year for me. 80% Viru Valge is good
  2. I'm a finn, I don't need an excuse to drink :P
  3. Well I got some 80% Viru Valge waiting. If that's celebrating, then yes I do celebrate. :o
  4. 22 hours 39 mins to go here :o
  5. Oh well, some centuries ago people married wolves and other animals :P This is just going "back to the roots".
  6. hmm... This seems weird, it seems to work once in a while. Oh well, not many of you have a slow motion button in Winamp. And no I don't use Mcafee. I use Norton 2005.
  7. That's something I'd like to hear from some official source. Mustaine got kicked from Metallica because of some personal things (well, it was said the reason was alcohol, but if you really got kicked from the 80s Metallica because of alcohol, you must have bathed in it) and there are some Metallica parodies in some of Megadeth's songs. Listen to "go to hell" for example, released at least on Hidden Treasures. There's also a lot of similarities with some of their songs. It's understandable that their old (Kill 'em All and Ride the Lightning) have influenced many Megadeth's songs, after all Mustaine played on KEA and probably trained with Metallica playing RTL songs. Anyways what I know, Mustaine seems to be "worshipping" Metallica and Lars&James have hit him down time after time. Anyways Metallica has gone so commercial now that I can imagine a title "Old Grudges gone, Mustaine with Metallca after tens of years" at news papers.
  8. Installed AC3filter and seems to work now :? Dunno why but doesn't bother me. Works and that's the most important thing <3
  9. Ok still same problem, no matter do I use 2.xx, 3.xx or 5.xx. This is driving me nuts :@
  10. I'll install 5 now. Tried like every setting and nothing seemed to work. Weird thing is that before I updated my comp everything worked fine on 2.xx.
  11. Just updated from: 256mb ram -> 1gb ram 1,1ghz prosessor -> 1,75gb 2mb graphic card -> 128mb Worked fine earlier and it must be some settings of Winamp, Windows Media Player works fine.
  12. Nope, low detail.
  13. Yesterday I updated my comp (finally a new video card, that 2mb card was like 5 years old :o ) and decided to format c. Well today I've been installing programs and trying to get everything to work. Found this thing: Winamp works very well when rs isn't open. When I open rs, the music seems to "slow down", it mumbles or something. Can't really explain it, but it just starts to sounds shi.. really bad. Earlier I had no problems and it works really fine with Windows Media Player. I first used Winamp 2.xx (can't remember exact version) and now I'm trying on Winamp 3.0, same problem on both versions.

  17. The url of Alek Szahala's pages popped to my eyes; you can get http://koti.mbnet.fi url only if you order a Finnish magazine :P Anyways, after doing some research I realised that his real name is Aleksi Sahala (normal Finnish name) and he has done research on indian (middle-America mainly) languages :o Interesting page on indian languages there, only in Finnish tho. Haven't tried the music yet, now dling all of his songs.

Don't feel like listing every cd, but some specials here: Rammstein - Mutter (special edition) Stratovarius - Infinite (special edition) Vlad Tepes/Torgeist: Split Thymorg - Teach children to worship satan (demo) First few aren't that rare, but the last one... Get another copy of that Cd and I'll show you Elton John's girlfriend.
  21. Always wanted to play guitar well, but bass wouldn't be that bad either. As a bassist you could be drunk 24/7 and no1 would even notice it.
  22. No. Simply because I don't like it. It's just my personal opinion and many people disagree with me. It might be the most popular, tho.
  23. We already have a mysterious thing called ignore list for nagging noobs.
  24. Well basically you can have something minor, but that really means minor. And Oldbaid, you can start from me if you want to :o

At least the ug bands I listen to are something that even can't turn mainstream. Also, I've seen some Finnish bands (Kalmah, Satanic Warmaster, Shade Empire) rise from the "unknown" to something pretty much close to "mainstream". I still enjoy them, they still play the same stuff they played a year or few ago. Usually the band that comes from ug to mainstream just happens to change their style and that way betray their fans. Look at Dimmu Borgir for example. A total sellout now (you could compare them for a whor... woman who sells her self) and some years ago when they still weren't a mainstream band they made a black metal masterpiece, StormblÃÆÃâÃâÃÂ¥st. If they haven't changed their style when they went mainstream, Dimmu Borgir would now be one of the most respected black metal bands ever. Now they are just another pop metal band.
