60% of the trees are made with custom brushes, so maybe what you're seeing is the edge of a brush I forgot to paint over.

Painted while chatting on msn, not focusing too much so it's pretty messy. Anyways, it's a scene from the Sword of Truth novels. It'd be cool if someone could tell me what it represents :-) Time is 2hours, but most probably 1h15 of work cause of the chatting.

I agree with Jopie. I don't really expect anything out of dA, I use it more as a place to hold all my paintings so I don't have to look for them. The community is nice, but more bent on ego boosting than actual critique (the main thing at least, dunno about the forums). I still visit it fairly often to check if the people I'm watching made new stuff.

What DH said. There's no point in classing. For it to be accurate, it would have to be the same people who classes everyone. But that's not whats happening. Even worse, people tend to give higher classing to guys who have been around for a while.

I was also in RV's team, and to my knowledge no one *hired* clans. I was surprised to see that many high levels in our team, and to be honest I think they won the game, not us. That being said, some of tip.it's members attitude was quite immature both before and after the game. Not saying it was not justified (at least after the game), but I was expecting a bit more to be honest.

^that looks weird. Usually there's a small halo around the moon, and the rest of the sky goes in a gradient from light near the horizon to dark.

I've had this manga project in mind for quite a while. But it's pretty time consuming so I don't know if I'll go on with it. So anyways, here's a rough for the first page [hide=][/hide] And some sketches I did because a friend was practicing drawing manga faces.

Scale it down a bit? :shock: Anyways, looks great. Pretty realistic too. The only thing I have to say is that you should try adding more live into the colors. Right now your they are only picked by moving the value slider around, but the hues stay pretty much the same. Maybe try some faint pink, or pale blue reflected light I don't know.

It's a c4d. I didn't really expect CC lol, the title says what I think about this. But I do appreciate every bit of help I can get, I don't really have any experience in the field of gfx sigs.
