Today I watched a movie on the 70's in Social Studies, and they talked about the cult movement. I heard about witchcraft, moon godesses, and Scientology. I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that Scientology is the belief in spiritual presence through acual fact (hence the name), and the pursuit of total freedom. Many famous people, including Tom Cruise and Issac Hayes (On a different note, he was the voice of "Chef" from South Park. He left South Park because they offended Scientology), are Scientologists. Many other people think Scientology is a cult. I, however, don't really know. I don't want to get involved with it in any way, but I don't 100% believe it's a cult either. What do you all think?
