Garrus rocks. So far, he's my favorite character with Liara as my second favorite. I know Wrex is a fan favorite, and I'm going to make sure to not lose him this time around (and get the Charismatic achievement at the same time), but I could never really get to liking him as a squadmate. Elevator scenes are much more enjoyable with him though.

Fallout 3
Now that I've been seeing all this criticism for the DLC, I've been noticing some of it myself. The story is probably the most annoying thing about MZ. You don't actually ever find out, and despite the remarks of the producers, you just end up devoting all your time and energy to reaching the top of the ship to escape, which is fun, but lacks on the story. The weapons are fun, but I think the drone cannon needs some getting used to. I don't know, actually, as of now, I can't even finish the story. I've seen my brother do the spacewalk, and it's totally BS. It's boring and short, and just lacks any kind of substance overall. There were a bunch of annoying glitches overall as well. I still have to finish it, but I can definitely understand people's complaints.

Yup, 360 here as well.

Call of Duty: World at War
New Map Pack 3 information! The overhead schematics for Der Riese were released today, although with some searching I'm pretty sure they can be found on someone's Twitter account, and Pack A Punch details. The new weapons look sweet, and the names are funny (they change when you upgrade them). Looks pretty damn promising so far. They released a few names of the upgraded weapons. 30 Cal => B115 accelerator BAR => The Widow Maker Colt 45 => C-3000 b1at-ch35 Shotgun Double Barreled => 24 Bore long range Shotgun Double Barreled Sawed Grip => The Snuff Box FG42 => 420 Impeller Gewehr43 = > G115 Compressor M1A1 Carbine => Widdershins RC-1 M1Garand => M1000 MG42 => Barracuda FU-A11 MP40 => The Afterburner .357 Magnum => .357 Plus 1 K1L-u

Speaking of which, I heard they're making a patch for the PS3 and 360 to fix that. http://twitter.com/fourzerotwo

Are YOU a fanboy?
Definitely. I just recently got into this and I've been addicted ever since. What is kind of annoying, however, is on your second or so playthrough when you occupy yourself with side quests. The Normandy seems kind of dead because the characters only really change their dialogue options when you play through more of the main story. There's probably a good and a bad time to do the rest of the quests, but I don't know, I always found that as kind of weird. The planets look great and are all unique and wonderful, and I really thank Mass Effect for giving me a game of this quality. I look forward to ME2. Also, I need to get myself into some tech and biotic careers. The soldier is great for Insane difficulties, but I need some variety, because a soldier class gets boring. Garrus and Liara rock, though. Other than a bunch of games I basically worship, I don't really consider myself a fanboy of anything.

Fallout 3
[cabbage], the producers clearly stated that I'd be able to go back to the ship after beating the DLC. I assumed that meant the entire ship. Maybe it's just a minor glitch or problem that needs to be settled? I seem to remember that being a theme with other Fallout 3 DLC's when they first get released. :? So it's al hype, huh? Not that good of an experience? I started playing it, and so far I'm having fun. I thought that the story would be revealed to me after some playing, but apparently you say otherwise. Anyway, the Fallout wiki said the katana was cut out, but I'll search some more for it. I'd really not like to search the ship up and down on my current playthrough for those tapes, and I want the achievement, so if they don't let me back in then I'd have to agree with you in terms of disappointment towards the DLC. Thanks for the information, and for now I'll play through it myself and post my thoughts later.

Fallout 3
Oh god, it's too terrible for words! The katana has apparently been cut from the final edition of the add-on! No katana!!! In other news, apparently my brother downloaded it! I'll be playing it soon. I can't wait! :)

Fallout 3
So, it's out. When will I play it?! Visit the Fallout wiki to see some of the new weapons. I still need to decide whether or not I'll bring any stuff on the ship to make it interesting.

What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?
Just rented Lost Odyssey, so I'll try that out later today. I also worked through a large chunk of Bioshock the other day. I still haven't finished Bioshock's main story. I've been playing more Mass Effect on my second-time around character, too.

Call of Duty: World at War
I can't wait for Map Pack 3! Just a little longer. Still don't know what the monkey bomb does, though. The bowie knife looks sweet, and the Pack a Punch machine looks better than I'd expected. When the weapons come out of it, they have really awesome designs on them, and the weapons perform better in some way too. I'll probably visit the Twitter accounts of those guys in the Map Pack 3 event going on today and look for videos and screens. If I find anything, I'll post it here.

Call of Duty: World at War
Wow, Map Pack 3 information has been coming out quicker than I expected. View Josh Olin's Twitter thing for some gameplay videos of the new maps, which look great by the way, and an interview. http://twitter.com/JD_2020 For now, here's some Der Riese stuff. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
I don't mind the badges. Some of them look pretty sweet, but as Vale said the colors and overall shapes look too similar. They aren't bad, but I wouldn't be surprised if the badges aren't entirely accurate.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Infinity Ward is really throwing some great stuff our way for multiplayer. I seriously cannot wait for this game. It's going to be amazing, and there's probably a lot more to come that we'll hear about later. Bravo, IW.

So does anyone know if I can continue my first game after beating the last battle and finishing the story?

What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?
[hide=]I didn't really get that either, but I'm guessing the controversy came from a trailer for ME2 that made it seem like Shepard died or something. Maybe there were other endings for the original game. I was confused too, and was scared for a second that I wasn't going to see him, but then he jumped out of the rubble. I had the same ending as you by the way.[/hide] I loved this game. Hell, I loved watching the credits.

Thanks for the squad help guys. I usually just use Unity now whenever they die, and I don't rely on my squadmates as much now, although Liara is a really good member to have around for her Biotics. So, I finished the game, which was incredible by the way. It was an unbelievable story, and a great final battle, kind of like a movie. But now, when I hit resume, it just goes right back to the auto save at the final battle. Does anyone know how to continue on and do the rest of the many side quests I left off? There's also DLC.

Battlefield 1942 | Battlefield 1943
Battlefield 1943 isn't bad. It's a fun game, and definitely worth the money in my opinion. The planes are hard to control, so I'm hoping to get used to that soon. It's so far been a pretty good game for me.

Games Franchises that Should Give Up
I won't say the newer Mario games aren't good, but I think the best ones were the old 2D ones. Why? Simplicity. Run, Jump, Collect Coins, Find Princess Mushroom. It was just so simple, yet so terribly hard. The classics are definitely the best Mario games out there, yeah. I just don't see Mario as being far from dead right now.

Fallout 3
I was reading about Fellout online a few days ago. Damn my lack of a gaming PC! :( Still waiting for Mothership Zeta. I dropped this game for a bit to play Mass Effect, though. Dr.Cox is awesome, by the way. EDIT: New Mothership Zeta info! http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/User_blog ... creenshots

Games Franchises that Should Give Up
Mario is great, and can still expect great games to go with it. It's not dead, and I don't think it will be for a while. I don't know where everyone is going with the Mario thing.

Call of Duty: World at War
Pardon the double post, but this is extremely, extremely interesting. A fascinating back story, indeed. Much of this is speculation, but there are facts, and there's tons of evidence to support an amazing story to be told on the whole instance of these zombies. There's still tons left to discover. I love games that offer these hidden stories for the player to find out. I urge everyone here to check it out. http://www.wethegamerz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4736
