  1. God, I hope there's more to this DLC that hasn't been said, because so far Der Riese sounds really underwhelming. I'm still excited, though, and the new multiplayer maps look awesome.
  2. If you say so, but my squadmates frequently die early on whenever I enter a battle. It's annoying. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
  3. Oh hell yes, more DLC! I gasped a little when I saw the intel report on the website. :D
  4. Damn, I started playing this game again and I'm hooked. Mass Effect, where have you been all my life? My guy's a level 12-something Soldier, though I feel like I'm missing out on the Biotics and Tech skills. Great story though, and tons of exotic things to do. Quick question: If a squad member has Biotic and/or Tech abilities, do you yourself have to activate them for that squad member to use the member's capabilities in battle, or will they just activate the powers themselves? Decryption is an example, and the various Biotic powers. I can't get this straight.
  5. Scratch that. I meant the proper Explosives skill for the perk. It doesn't matter anymore though, I already got Pyromaniac. Oh, and new screenshots for Mothership Zeta came out recently. http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Mothership_Zeta_(add-on)
  6. Yeah, I do see the consequences. But that information is good to know. And I really need to get Pyromaniac, which I'll get next level-up because of my increased Big Guns skill. Currently in the middle of completing Broken Steel. I'm looking to get The Pitt next. Oh, and just realized that Fawkes doesn't have an unlimited carrying capacity. :(
  7. So, I've been thinking, and I've realized that I should really start using my alien weapons due to Mothership Zeta's release coming up soon. In all honesty, which is better, the Alien Blaster or Firelance? I have both, and I need to know which one causes more damage. I can't really tell. I haven't used either one yet.
  8. The Guass rifle is great, but overuse causes it to degrade eventually, and now the damage is down. I don't think it can be repaired with other weapons, which sucks. Also, if I get Broken Steel, can I exit/re-enter the Broken Steel area anytime I want?
  9. Holy crap, Mothership Zeta looks amazing. I haven't seen a single image relating to the DLC, but man does it look promising. Totally different textures and a completely new environment, aliens, new alien weapons, and finally that crash site isn't a total enigma. I can't wait! Oh, quick question. If I download Broken Steel now, can I immediately get the increased level cap, and then start the DLC when I decide to finish the main questline?

    Oblivion

Coming back to this game feels so good. I started fresh, as my first character wasn't working out at all. I have another Nord character: Attributes: Strength and Endurance Sign: The Warrior Major Skills (Custom class, "Fighter"): Armorer Athletics Blade Block Heavy Armor Marksman Restoration I'm glad I started over. It's going to be a much better run, and I'm going to enjoy the game a lot more now.
  11. Wow, Point Lookout really kicks your [wagon] if you're not prepared. Those Tribals are so damn tough. All in all, it's a pretty cool DLC, and I'm glad that I can go back to the Wasteland any time I want, provided I pay caps to get back.
  12. Quick question: How hard is Insane? Is it doable? I really want those achievements.
  13. PC or 360? And yeah, like Bloodkay said it's not that big of a deal. Now that you're in Megaton, you can truly begin the game. Among other things, the decision of whether or not to blow up Megaton is interesting, and grants you a living space either way.
  14. Something about Jackass and all Jackass movies entertains me so much that I can't stop laughing. Holy crap, I mean, it's not meaningful or even that influential, and we can all understand that, but it's just really entertaining, I'm sorry. It even influences me to look at life in a positive view. It has that effect on me. I'm probably not going to make a list, at least not now, although I am having a good time reading this thread.
  15. Heh, that gun was on Futureweapons. Watch the video, it's pretty cool. It sounds like a pretty cool weapon. Powerful and really accurate, with minimal recoil.
  16. I had a hilarious match of Hardcore FFA today. This guy kept getting pissed that I was killing him and doing so well, and went on through the next two matches getting killed by me and complaining about it to his friend. I love those situations when this one guy on your team is really annoying, so you pursue the player over everyone else. It was pretty funny. The PPSH on Hardcore rocks, especially on Hardcore FFA with small maps.
  17. Please don't say that about MW then if you've just seen footage. You should try the game. And there's a reason it gets so much praise, but if you'll review my comments you'll see that I don't base MW's success on praise at all. It's balance, story mode, and general variety included from the rest of the games in the series makes it stand out more from WaW, which is essentially a copy of the game. In the WaW thread, when people remark on how they've never played WaW before, it's hard not to comment on MW, which was the original innovator and deserves the praise it gets. I can praise WaW in ways too, but its similarity to MW is hard to get over.
  18. I can't even sell my copy of MW to someone, any Aussies wanting to buy a copy on 360, let me know. I hate it compared to WaW. You hate it compared to World at War? WaW is a good game, and currently it's one of the games I'm addicted to. But why would you want to sell MW? Maybe right now you like WaW over MW, but do you realize just how much better of a game MW is? I guess some of it is opinionated, but gaming-wise, MW is a superior game. And Ray, you're wrong. Please stop saying these games are dominated by sprayers. Deal with it or stop playing the game.
  19. I can't, I'm sorry. I have to tell this person what they're missing out on because Modern Warfare will probably be a breath of fresh air to the person who is only used to playing World at War.
  20. I dont really like it when people compare 2 games. 1 has a more balanced side and another has a rigged side. completely different :XD: What? First of all, tell me what's not ripe for comparison on two simultaneous games in the same franchise. Next, please tell me what you're trying to get at with your comparison on comparing games.
  21. You are missing out if you have World at War but not Modern Warfare. You can't even compare the two. Seriously. Borrow it from a friend or something and just see, for a second, what you're missing. In other news, rifle-nading on Dome on Hardcore TDM is really fun. Very cheap and insulting, but fun.
  22. Are the controls the terrible thing about it? That would make sense, but unfortunately I only have it available for the 360 right now. I really seem to suck at this game though. Do I get to put the blame all on my 360? And yeah, I've noticed that the Pyro is an easy class. I managed to get a whopping two or three kills with it.
  23. So, I rented The Orange Box yesterday and I'm now trying out this game. It's really confusing, in all honesty. It's hard to get a kill, and I seem to be dying a lot. Are all games in TF2 objective-based? Is there any Team Deathmatch or anything? This game seems really hard to get used to. Anyone know a good beginner class?
  24. There's at least a kind of a Steyr AUG found in the game. The Steyr AUG HBAR variant is used. According to the Call of Duty wiki, it's an assault rifle. Wikipedia says it's an LMG, though. That's interesting.
  25. I can't wait either. This game is taking too long to come out. I want a beta! :(
