  1. Kanye's such a stud. I don't watch the VMA's, but I feel pretty bad for Taylor Swift. God, what a douche.
  2. Oh yeah I forgot about that, although you can do the same with sticky grenades in WAW. God I wish Molotovs didn't suck so much (but yet again I still use them). If the flames actually spread or did damage after the initial explosion then they might be okay. Oh, and the new double-barrel is going to be awesome in MW2 as well. The left and right triggers control both barrels. Can't remember if anyone talked about it though. It was confirmed on the Call of Duty wiki.

  4. Right when you posted that I checked Bowling's Twitter and found the update! Nice, I can't wait either! It's too bad though, I thought he was still with his family for his friend's funeral. Hope the guy's okay. I agree with what people here are saying. If the knives aren't a one-shot kill then they'll probably be next to useless, even though I'll still probably use them for aesthetic reasons, but if they are a one-shot kill then I don't think they'll be overpowered. They'll probably be like a Semtex or a stick grenade without any blast radius, but this weakness would naturally mean that they'd travel pretty far in the air, farther and faster than a Semtex would. I can see them as being an interesting addition.

  6. How? You should watch it if you haven't seen it. It was on the Dashboard and contained a bunch of coded messages from Treyarch. [yt]ts6aXOAO2yo[/yt] http://weplaycod.blogspot.com/2009/09/i ... edmap.html Confirmed messages: 1. Edward Is Alive 2. Treyarch 3. To The Community The Fans and Our Families Thank you *heart* We Shall Return The site explains it best. Also, as the site points out, remember at the beginning of the video that Zombie fans were to pay particular attention to the messages decoded inside the video. Also, the video points out something interesting. There are tons of people complaining about CODWAW's intel updates, claiming that everyone already knows it all and that all of Der Riese's easter eggs have been found and all puzzles solved. But according to Treyarch and that guy at the end, we're not even close. That raises a bunch of questions. Specifically, I think there's a lot more to the Fly Trap than we previously thought.

  8. I loved the way Infinity Ward confirmed the dual attachments perk in the Flag Runner clip. Can't wait. :) I'm interested in seeing how throwing knives will work out too. Besides the fact that they look really fun, I wonder how good of a substitute they'll be on the grenade slot they replace. I'm thinking it's the primary slot.
  9. Cautiously waiting on Map Pack 4... The in-game evidence, as well as that Inside Xbox: Treyarch bit that they did all seem to generally point to a release date of some new content. So far I've been pretty pleased with Treyarch's DLC they're giving us. The multiplayer maps are decent, and the Zombie Maps have tons of uniqueness and value in them. The whole story behind the zombies is really interesting too, and there are still tons of mysteries left to solve in the story, which also counts as evidence towards the possibility of more content. And as always, I love easter eggs.
  10. Yeah I got this game too a while ago, and again it was the GOTY addition. It's extremely fun. If I had a complaint it would be the lack of weapons and overall content, but that's easily dismissed because of the game's huge replay value and the awesomeness of taking on the horde with friends. I really enjoy this game. Can't wait for the second one. Also, playing as the Boomer on Versus and vomiting all over the Witch with my Hunter buddies is crazy fun.
  11. Yes. :) I should change it though. It's kind of old.
  12. I'd love to shoot. I can't remember the last time I shot a rifle, which was at a summer camp. I gotta go shotting sometime. :(
  13. Augh, a tragedy. I heard about this today. That seriously sucks. Rest in peace, Les Paul.
  14. Really, I understand where you're coming from, but I just think those goggles are so cool. It's kind of pathetic. Hell, it got me wondering: How effective they will be, and how much they actually cost if someone were to buy them apart from the game.
  15. This game looks amazing! Saw it on X-Play and was hooked. Seriously, I want to dig up my sister's DS just to play this game. So many words to try out! Anticipation...
  16. Well, I finally got the majority of the online achievements. So satisfying to get them. The ones I have left (all on mythic maps) are Killtacular, the Perfection one, and the Extermination one. I think that's it.
  17. Well damn, am I the only one who thinks the night vision goggles are totally badass? :(
  18. The weight and appearance thing is cool, but annoying. My physical stats are maxed in most slots, and because of that my guy's really big and awkward-looking. Also, I'm pretty sure you can't have positive "fit" or "thin" points, which is weird. My guy looks weird. But I did manage to get a new head of hair with Knothole Island, I believe. And at least whatever I do won't affect my battle preferences, because if I wanted to I could max all stats by getting into fights and drinking xp potions, which I really like about this game. Anyone know if See The Future (the most expensive one) is worth it?
  19. I don't see why you can't stealth a lot of the times in Halo games, so to be honest I'm a bit skeptical towards the promised "stealth" option of ODST, which I think was defined by the producers as simply stealth "options."
  20. I can't remember: How many people here only really play Hardcore? If you do, just say so. Really, from playing Hardcore for so long, I can't really see myself going back to regular. I want to know if anyone shares my opinions on COD games.
  21. Well, I really hope he stays true to that. I guess I got stale news or didn't read into something. [sarcasm] ITS THE END OF THE WORLD OMG! ONLY TWO MAP PACKS!!!![/sarcasm] Im not trying to make fun of you rushrock, but seriously. Most likely there would be a good amount of maps already in the game, so to me it looks like there is going to be ALOT of mp maps for MW2. Compared to what other games are getting, it's at the very least annoying and disappointing to see only two pieces of DLC from a game like MW2.
  22. Modern Warfare 2 might only get 2 map packs...:( Heard it on The Feed: http://g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/69813 ... are-2.html
  23. I got it too. It's pretty fun and everything. I'd probably buy more "essential" DLC's, if you know what I mean, before I bought Bring Down The Sky, but if you really love Mass Effect then you'll probably like it. I never got the omni-tool in the DLC. Do I even need it on my Soldier class?
  24. I played the maps. I really, really like Battery. It just feels totally different and unique. The layout of the map is really fun and intense, so it's probably my favorite. Revolution is pretty cool, too. What's ineresting about Revolution and Breach is that while they're very long with plenty of sniping spots, a lot of the battles take place inside the buildings. It's still a pretty cool map. Breach is okay, but kind of annoying. I'll have to get used to all of them first, but so far I really like Battery.
  25. Ouch, that sucks. :? It's finally out! My brother's playing it right now. Can't wait to try the whole thing out! :D
