The great flood that Noah supposedly went through was probably just a metaphor that...well...actually, what point was it trying to get at? The world is flooded, Noah gathers up the animals, they make an ark, and they survive. Where's the moral? Maybe that story is completely useless. That's what I always thought.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but planes are 4 times safer than cars, right?
  3. I've been there a couple of times, and I really like it there. The city is clean and fresh, and there are some interesting sites to see. It's a pretty nice place to visit, in my opinion.
  4. What makes it worse is that I'm not even surprised. :|
  5. ^^ and religion mankind The United Atheist Alliance! No! It should be called the Unified Atheist League! No! The Allied Atheist Alliance is the logical name! That way it has three As! The other names are wrong!
  6. Viktor's cool like that. There must be some kind of agreement about these troops. There should be a meeting to discuss it. America and the UK are supposed to be allies, so they, and the other countries, should come up with an agreement on the troops in Iraq.
  7. I find that mildly offensive.
  8. Come on, when has that ever worked out flawlessly? It's only a matter of time before it happens on South Park... :P
  9. I lawled at that. I don't know why.
  10. So, are you saying that any male that wears pink is doing it to get laid? If I wore pink one day, does it automatically mean that I'm trying to get laid? How is he a poser? Could you please define poser for me? Sure, I hate labels, but you can view yourself as any style you want because they don't have any fixed meanings. There isn't a fixed style that goths, emos, preps, jocks, and skaters wear because those are all umbrella terms. You can't really accurately make those assumptions. That's one of the many reasons why I hate labels.
  11. I really wish labels didn't exist...
  12. Lol. True dat If you'll recall, I wanted this thread to stay positive. Please, Negative Nancy, stop. You're a real thread killer, you know? It gets old after a while.
  13. I'm probably a late owl because I usually stay up late, but I have no problem waking up early, even pulling all-nighters if I have to.
  14. If you did, then you're ignoring my opinion and just flaunting yours. Have a nice time! (I have to step out for a moment, too.)
  15. I ignore leaving threads. Of course I didn't bother to check her thread, since it is just attention-seeking claptrap. Well, you shouldn't have made a false allegation. Nevertheless, in this situation, it wouldn't be abnormal for you to make that mistake.
  16. Hey man, let's flood the forum yelling "I'm a spammer. I'm a spammer!". It's a public forum man, if you don't care about it don't read or respond it. Good idea, uh? You didn't understand a word I said.
  17. No, you really shouldn't.
  18. Did you bother to check her thread?
  19. How2PK, I don't think you get it. You're not asked to participate in the going-away thread. This isn't like a public channel - It's a forum. The thread will stay here, but that's not much of a handicap. At all. Just put up with it. Who's forcing you to respond to those threads? No one. Who's forcing you to care about them leaving? No one.
  20. I really wish labels didn't exist...
  21. Some people feel that the Off-Topic boards have been flooded with too much political flaming, and have featured the same posters just going at each other. Some people also feel that some of the users here are excessively mean and flamey. This new forum gives them an opportunity to open up to each other and discuss things as a small, friendly community with the flaming and arguing at a minimum, but sadly, the spam at a maximum. DGI is a small, local community where the rules are much more relaxed and there is a more freedom-like kind of atmosphere.
  22. Oh...Not exactly...At least at how I behave there...Just ask someone. Seriously. Some of these posters actually contribute posts of a reasonable quality here, and while many of the threads reek of DeloriaGod Inc advertisement, some people like those posters. Those people who like the company of the leaving poster would probably want to be informed as to when they leave, and these threads are fairly acceptable ways of doing that.
  23. That's better! Almost! :D :P
