I've played Runescape on and off for years, but every time i get into an account, i do something stupid, lose all my money and quit it... It happend with I_Abrasion_I, my staker, where i lost over 150m staking in one night and with another account, Run_my_ores, where i lost half my bank worth during a slayer task... So, i decided to make a new account as since moving into my new flat and waiting to being University, around work i've alot of free time. This account is two weeks old, as i've spent two weeks on holiday. I told myself if i make a new account, it has to be a beast or i should not bother :P Stats: Quests completed: Monkey madness was completed at 36 combat Horror from the deep was completed at 36 combat Mage arena was completed at 38 combat Desert treasure was completed at 46 combat Set up: I sold alot of my items... This set up is more to show adamant gloves, guthix cape and ghostly robes. (book is full) I dont see much need for a bank picture. All the quests cost me over 1.5m to complete, including getting the levels and dying alot. Rc also cost me 500k and so far has made me nothing as i keep dying in Abyss :D Its worth about 700k, but i've bought 16k maple logs to fletch into junk and sell a friend of mine who has been helping me (i also have alot of work to do and fletching junk is a good way to make money while doing other things). Goal: Finish the 16k bows to yield 2.4m Get 70 Range Get 70 Mage Get 70 Strength. I'd just like to say a massive thank you to Aegis Titan. He has personally handed me over 1.8m in game and he spent 8 hours yesterday helping me to complete Desert Treasure and get Adamant gloves. You are a God :D Please post :D

It says on the tif guide you cannot pot for it, but two players in-game are adamant they did to get it. Does anyone know for sure?

Exactly what he's said... Most people would just simply not understand the logic of such an account... The only good thing about a mage pure is teleports, but use teletabs... You asked for the max mage defence with one defence, and you got it....

There a hundreds of different types of Mage Pures... And most of them do the intellectual thing of actually raising hitpoints so they dont get destroyed in pvp... Oh, and bell end, cannon doesn't give hitpoints experience, so you could get any level you wanted if you weren't a lazy git...

What is the skirt and boots? Like simply grey bottoms/boots? Mage cape from arena, black d'hide chaps, adamant gloves, saradomin pray book (full), wizard boots, wizard hat, seers ring and probably mystic mud staff? That is likely to the best magic DEFENCE

You could mine 1million ess in about 1000 hours of playing time. Or, if you got 66 mage for the mages guild essence vault, probably around 900 hours? There was someone on these forums who mined 1million regular ess, might be worth talking to him. :P

The key here is how much respect you give to other accomplishments that require similar amounts of time. Skillcapes like fletching often attract a disproportionate amount of disdain from people who would otherwise admire something like a set of full dragon, a low-end rare, or a set of Lord Marshal clothes. It's hypocritical to think of a fletching cape as n00by if you find a thieving cape to be a significant accomplishment. I agree with this statement, however just because a skill takes the same amount of time to train, doesn't make them as hard. Blackjacking is a very painful way to train thieving, a bit like old-style fletching, and Pyramid Plunder requires alot more concentration. Many skills can be levelled to 99 in the same time or even faster than fletching, but in fairiness, other than cooking, they're all harded... For example; 99 Range using chins... Over 300k xp an hour, however you need to find the 45m+ to get it. 99 Construction.... I've heard about 150k+ xp an hour, however very expensive. 99 Pray... Very fast xp, but again very expensive. I simply dont agree with his rant, because fletching, now, is TOO easy. You could get it in the same it takes to make the money for full dragon.

You could try and send a query to Jagex. I mean, it would he hard actually proving the account was yours, or even getting their attention, but its worth a short.

If you look on thr Tip.It Fansite, theres an official Jagex statement saying that time is the only factor effecting growth. Feeding/entertaining your pet just stops it from running away.

In honesty, Fletching does deserve to be bashed... I achieved 99 fletching around 3 years ago, solely stinging over 150k bows to get it... I was the 4k person to get it and before the announcement of skill capes only around 5.5k people had it... And that was before this ridiculous 'string x' option. The 'x' option has completely killed the respect for fletching and it IS very easy, hence the 10's of 000's of people who have it. Want a 99 cape? Everyone gets fletching, because it IS easy... Its the most common (U) cape, because it IS easy. Tell me what is exactly hard about clicking on the bank a few times a minute and letting your little man do all the work? To be honest, fletching doesn't deserve any recognition as it takes about as much time as getting 85 agility. Theres a reason why people bash it, so don't come here ranting and raving and telling people to 'suck an egg' when you have decided to go for the EASIEST skill cape in the game. Furthermore, i dont think i've ever seen more than maybe 20 people flaming others for the fletching cape in my whole time of playing Runescape... So im quessing you engaged in an argument with someone, unprovoked or not, and he 'bashed you' for having the easiest level in the game... And as a result, you huffed and puffed and came on here to rant.

Well then sell it before it drops. Just keep fury then if you dont want to take the risk. Be useful for the tasks you cant safe.

Guthix will work just as good. Not really a great deal of shield weapons that aid range. I've heard Ranging Amulet is pretty poor compared to its price, but that was at 3m. Now its crashed, probably worth buying one and using it, then selling it when it imminently rises again.

Oooo, sorry. Mis-read Arma for Ava... Hm, use black d'hide or karils with Ranger ammy, zamorak book, rune c'bow and broad bolts are probably your best bet. Get avis accumulator and snake skin boots?

Yaks with Bronze knifes? He they're good at most levels even using rune knifes. Use void though... If not, anything to be honest... I mean, its common sense. You dont want to kill avansies and you probably cant afford chins, so go old school and kill something like Fire Giants.

You must remember many of the forum users lack the common sense needed to hit the 'search button'.

Dont you just talk to the made outside the house near edge? Im sure thats how you get it. Or is that luciens pendant?

He said Black Demons... Your best bet is to go and kill one for yourself and see how long it takes. There are safe spots in most/all of the areas so one wont be hard to find.

Nice looking account. I mined all the essence for 44 runecrafting on my pure, got it then got ripped in the abyss so kind of a waste of 500k on my part, but im sure it'll come in handy later. Runecrafting and mining are both terrrible pains, but if you do succeed and actually do the insane thing of mining nearly 1million ess, that you'd be massive epic.
