Those are not bots, that's inflation. People have different definitions of 'fun'. Your idea of grinding away killing 10k green drags over a weekend is not exactly my idea of 'fun'. Many people would like to play the game, yet still maintain a social life in the real world. And this is where bots come in. Does that make them bad, immoral people? Because they're not following arbitrary rules set forth by a game company, and killing your chaos druids?

Depends on how well you can lure, although I never bothered checking. I got ~170 crims/hr with barrage though.

Use curses. You can flash prot melee just long enough so that it doesn't drain, then flash ss a few times. No need for p pots or food. Other then that just bring wolper + scrolls + wear full prossy when luring.

The problem with the Mining Guild is that you only get about half the exp mining coal there as you would powermining iron in Rimmington or Al-Kharid. Not sure about the xp rates if you're banking though. It's 14k/hr mining coal + mith while banking at lvl 80+. Powermining = too much clicking (I powermined 60-85 on f2p 5 years ago).

It's a selfish and short-sighted attitude, but not a new one. One of the chief complaints in early 2008 after the big changes were made was that gold farmers would be missed because now raw materials were too expensive. Regular randoms take too long and are annoying as hell, which is why people screamed to have them cut back, but this is the result. What they really need is "micro-randoms", that require human thought to answer, but can be done extremely quickly, something modelled after the CAPTCHAs used on websites. They should come up every 15 minutes or so. captchas? You forgot how well those worked in RSC? lol And OP is ranting only bc he's the one hunting chins. If he tried chinning 99 range or getting 99 smith, the story would be diff.
