nobody hates defenders at all. its just that, because its the least popular role (due to its difficulty), teams are always needing a defender to start. And so, when they shout that they need one, all the team-less lvl 30's-60's in the area say they are the best defenders in the world, and when they prove just how bad they really are, they team quits and the team members say how bad the defender was, and so a grudge builds up between them and any defenders. Sounds foolish, but ive watched it happen in World 18, a very busy BA world full of loners with no team, stranded, and doing anything possible to get furthur through the game...

so do all the 60's etc you hit actually give you 240 exp?

As long as there is some incentive for the thread to continue, then its a decent thread. Things such as good subject matter, good grammar, good arguments would turn the decent thread into a quality thread. Also, i hate threads where people either sp34k lyk d15 or use a million smileys

well the annoying talking with the carpet operators was annoying, and even if it isnt that helpful, its by no means a bad update.

well i suppose its ok, but the defender will get very very low individual points, so it isnt fair on him. also, theres a high possibility that some runners will get out of range of the cannons, losing points for the whole team.

well i hate cricket personally, find it more boring than golf, and yet at my school, its one of the most high rated things one can be good at.. I hate tea, and coffee, guess im not old enough to like them yet... I never get involved in these arguments as i never actually say the word scone... And i do say 'spiffing weather, what what', but only because i know its ironic :P

but theres so many other stereotypes to fill! instead, why not get terrible teeth, play cricket, drink tea, argue about how to pronounce 'scone' or ask someone about the weather... oh god i hate that everyone else in the world thinks thats exactely what we do all the time...

But your "flashlights" don't flash. :P this is one of the things that annoys me. a stereotype might say those things, but i very very rarely hear either of em used. i might use bloody hell if impressed by something, but dont want to swear too bad, but apart from that, we hardly ever use them, listen up world! also, good job on the flashlight comeback, i was trying to think of one myself =D>

trouble brewing is an ace minigame!! its fun, has pirates AND monkeys in it, and gives really good (and phr33) firemaking, cooking and crafting exp. The rewards are great: my full naval turns heads everywhere i go and i often get offers for it. Also, The Stuff has given me tonnes of mature chefs delight which i hope to sell one day. And dont forget that you can even buy lvl 2 clue scrolls there, which provides afair bit of my income, as they seem a little luckier than others.... The only bad points of the game are a.) how remote it is. Its just a pain getting there if you've forgotten to take a bottle of rum back with you, and before the home telleport, it could be a pain getting back too and b.) water bucket noobs. they dont seem to realise they reach the peak amount of PoE avaliable cant be gotten after 4 inventories and do nothing to help the team.

grim and the original poster are completely right, i can get more points in wave 7 than from fighting the queen. i would love to do this. ill add you now...
