And I quote myself, to which you obviously didn't read, I'll tell you where. Most likely from a coal powered plant. I'm certain the amount of CO2 given off to produce the electricity easily brings the Prius back into the 'normal' car range of CO2 releasers, after being added on to the actual engine emissions. Its not as clean as what all the salesmen will tell you is what i'm saying.

I've never really played many of these 'epic' games, with massive orchestral soundtracks, but I do like Twilight Princess's soundtrack. Especially when you enter a massive open area, particularly Hyrule Field.

Well for starters, where do you think the electricity to run the hybrid cars comes from? And bio-ethanol fuel is SO unefficient. The amount of conventional fuel needed (like Petrol, etc) to use the tractor to harvest the crop, to sort the crop, to transport the crop, to create the bio-ethanol fuel, to transport the fuel, etc, MASSIVELY outweighs the emissions nd whatnot you save by using it.

good point...maybe our governments should give people who have cars that are hybrids/ethanol powered a bit of money to get people to stop using gas powered cars But why? They're no cleaner than regular cars...

AHAHAHAHA ahem. I think nearly every person in the country who follows football dislikes the Americans using the name for their sport. I've seen several Britains in this thread already showing their distain for it, and I know many many people who would hurt a man for saying 'soccer'.

Goldphishies - correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't recall ever hearing Iraq (well obviously not, Saddam probably didn't want to be killed, the Iraqis then :P ) calling for your help. One day Bush and Blair (I don't think either of the countries as a whole wanted to go) decided to go into Iraq to rid it of Saddam. Am i correct in thinking the Iraqi's never actually requested our help? Also, I do love you Carlin. Your posts really do make my day. :D

Ah, i apologise, I did misunderstand. I see your point now. I suppose calling football soccer isnt wrong, but its just unnecessary, and annoys the hell out of me, and many people I know, for some reason. Why couldn't the Americans simply have made an appropriate name for their sport, call football football and just avoid this whole mess?

I missed the question did I? That's why its wrong. Because it is completely illogical. I'm sure there are very good reasons for cricket being cricket, and tennis being called tennis, etc, but can you honestly say you think it makes sense to call a game with very very little contact of the ball with one's foot, football?

Nope, didn't work... This is where i'm at. I'm trying to create the lightening effect that i've seen in a video on youtube (http://youtube.com/watch?v=e6doh3-ot64) But I just cannot get my colours to invert :wall: Anymore ideas anyone?

OK, i've recently decided to get back into GIMP, but unfortunetly for me, i've forgotten a ton. First of all, how do I transparent-ise an image? One of the most basic things to learn, but I just can't remember...something to do with colour to alpha, but meh, I can't remember. Second of all, how do I use downloaded brushes? What file do I put them into? I think I should be able to get on with those two bits of information.... Thanks in advance, PJ
