  1. I would change that new Sonic game, to its original title, 'Wildfire', Much cooler than 'And the Secret Rings' Also, slightly related, I would love to have a Nintendo Revolution sat next to my TV right now, instead of a Wii....
  2. I despise anyone under the age of 5 on a bus, in a restuarant, in a cinema. Just hearing their whining and crying makes my blood boil. I know full well we were all like that at one point, but my parents certainely didn't show off my vocal skills to the world.
  3. I know the sort of nose you mean Bari. Used to like that a fair bit myself too, but now, not so much. I find body hair on girls repulsive. Call me sexist, but I believe the only place for hair on a girl is the head. What drives me wild? Long, good hair probably. No idea why either.
  4. That sir, is stupid. I have to say, probably the only country I would prefer to live in, other than the UK (despite all the problems we have) would be Canada. Their toilets and cheese may suck bigtime, but everyone is so nice, and it just seems a lovely place to live.
  5. *cries* I have just finished 40 minutes of answer-creating, only to have my internet die at the last second, and have all my work lost. I just don't have the will to do it all again, and for that reason I shall tip my hat and bow out.
  6. Pfft lucky, thanks to the EU, the acids we us in our class couldn't erode butter.... My only real story from Chemistry, is from a few weeks ago or so. We did something with chloroform. The teacher naturally warned us to keep our nose the hell away from the bell jar full of it at the front, but being the responsible, smart young man I am, I accepted the dare to take a great whiff of it. Well, I fainted almost instantaneously, hit my head on a stool on the way down and was off school for a few days...
  7. There are other meanings to the word 'rich'. And slavery did not keep the economy going, it merely made a bunch of captains a lot richer. And yes, owning the majority of the globe is something to be proud of. It shows how powerful, both culturally and by strength of army, we were, and to an extent still are. Also, Adolf Hitler barely owned half of Europe. Comparing him to the Imperialism of Britain in the past is ridiculous. We started colonies, and started capturing places, simply because we were powerful enough to expand our already massive economy, and needed to fuel it. Hitler simply hated 'inferior sub-humans', such as the Slavs and Jews. Completely different, chalk and cheese and all that. I think there is a little bit of you misunderstanding, and me not getting my point across well enough going on here. If Andorra, or a similar small country adopted the US Dollar, then their currency would be worth that same as America's. I agree, this is a very capitalist notion, but does it really make sense to have a world power, with one of the largest economies and military mights in the world have a currency worth the same as a pretty low-key country? Also, thanks a lot Loge, and everyone else who helped me. :P
  8. Quick question, are there any things one can do at home, without any exercise equipment, to build up their pectoral muscles?
  9. Well for starters, i have absolutely no idea where to get it done. Also, i wouldn't make a special appointment or travel for an hour to get into York/Hull just to get it done either. Basically, i can't be arsed, and the whole impracticality of the whole affair puts me off it too. But i do like getting injections, they make me feel hard :P
  10. I don't know whether to call you crazy or amazing Toshiba.... Well good luck on your path to one million natures, and what was your reward from the disconnected-picture-trip-thingy can you remember?
  11. So what BlueLancer? We have one of the richest histories of any nation. We have accomplished great things, and owned the majority of the globe at one point. Seems as though we are entitled to be proud of our nation, and great currency. You ask why nations are lesser than GB, just because they're smaller? Well first off, that is not what i meant. If we adopted the Euro, we would be on the same economic level as ridiculously small, and un-industrial countries. I have nothing against them, but in such a situation, they gain a TON, and we simply lose out. Secondly, call me an idiot if you wish, but I feel we deserve independance, simply because in the past we have fought so hard for it. I think countries like Germany, Belgium, Holland, France, Spain (pretty much most of Western Europe) deserve it also. Most of the Eastern members of the EU are in need of money, and support, which is fair enough, but I do not think the EU does this effectively, as too many of the larger countries either exploit the system, or just lose billions of Euros into it. I'm assuming you're American? You speak like a native English speaker, and yet are not British, so for the sake of this point I will assume you are American. Can you honestly say, without a shadow of a doubt, that you would be against a tiny country like Andorra adopting the dollar, and being economically on the same plane as one of the world's superpowers? I very much doubt so.
  12. I miss Transport Tycoon
  13. ^^ which is the exact reason I don't want Britain to adopt the Euro. We would completely lose our worldwide symbol of power, and would be essentially on the same plane, economically, as a country like Andorra, or Latvia (no offense meant to natives of these countries, they're just small).
  14. If you're thinking of the things I am, they were teddy shaped cakes, full of chocolate, very popular in the late 90's...but theyre never stocked anywhere these days... I miss them and their teddy-goodness. =P~
  15. And that was the irony I was referring to. Glad to see you're not offended. :P
  16. You press the 'quote' button to the top right of the message you wish to quote. I said it was ironic, blah blah blah, because although you steer clear of using text language, your grammar/typing etc aren't the best... I trust you understand irony?
  17. I personally don't mind it, as Harrington says, languages evolve, and this is simply what it is. I also think it's rather ironic you complain of things being hard to read. :P
  18. Wow, that should be interesting, what with Fry and Leela getting together (kinda) in the very last episode...
  19. Theyre making another series?? Also, I remember a few other things I miss like hell, The whole Pokemon craze.. 'Go-Gos', I believe theyre known as 'Crazy Bones' now, but I loved em, they were massive at my school.
  20. And yet countries like France and Spain get millions and millions of Euros when they aren't strictly needed. My knowledge on the subject is a little hazy, but if i remember correctely, Britain is one of the few countries which actually loses money in the system, and we lose massive amounts of it.
  21. If you read my posts, you'd know. It's an agreement between several wealthy EU countries to remove customs checks. Travelers can just go straight to the airport terminal and hop in a taxi or whatever they want to do without having to go through customs. This obviously doesn't work in your scheme because there are no eastern european countries in the agreement. It's very hard to get into it at the moment, and eastern european countries aren't getting inside the agreement anytime soon. The agreement still doesn't stop security checks though, so the problem is not the EU but somebody else. Well after reading the Wiki entry, it seems the security checks are random. So this, coupled with the corruption and casualness of the Eastern European customs, is the reason for so much gun smuggling. It seems to be that Britain's are the only customs who really check for this sort of stuff, and even then they don't check every car... And Harrington - how can you possibly be behind the Euro? Personally, if we did adopt it, I can see many many backlashes against the government, and perhaps it would be the factor which finally sparked the rejection of the EU from Britain. Many polls in the past have shown the majority want British independance.
  22. Tikruy, please stop double posting? On topic - BlueLancer and Viktor; We do have gun laws, and theyre very very strict compared to those in the US. I live in the countryside and know of only one family with a gun, and they do have a proper license and everything. And BlueLancer, I don't know what this 'schengen agreement' is i'm afraid. Assuming France, Germany, Holland etc are in this agreement, surely their customs would have picked up on it, and then even Britain's. The point I was trying to make, was that if the EU didn't exist, then there would naturally be much tighter borders, and this kind of thing probably wouldn't happen as much.
  23. I miss the prawn cocktail and the salt and vinegar flavoured Quavers...god they were nice... Also, i miss my house in Portsmouth, and i miss the city itself
  24. Yeah well, my very camp policeman will take your nasty man away for looking both very strange with that dog, and for having his glass tucked into the top of his shirt in the fashion i DETEST.
  25. O rly? Well my RAINBOW PUPPIES will cute your scary clown man to death.
