your stupid pet stories.
Pun of the century perhaps? :P No really funny stories about my cat, but once, when he was a kitten, he started playing with the drawstring for my blinds. He obviously moved it a little bit, and got his claw stuck, because the weight of the blinds made the drawstring move up, and the blinds to fall. The poor cat ended up hanging from my ceiling, holding onto the top of the blinds for dear life. Bless.

Goths? Worship the Devil?
And so to someone who obviously knows little about Goth culture, they would see the black and compare it to darkness and evil, as you say.

Goths? Worship the Devil?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goth_subculture That covers it I think, at least to the extent that most people follow it for (to fit in with a trend)

Goths? Worship the Devil?
Fair enough, he made a grossly wrong stereotpying of goths, but i'm sure we all connected black with the devil at one point? Perhaps we should find out if the topic starter is a young 'un, or just stupid before telling them to kill themselves? And splat, i thought you were a pretty intense Christian?

Goths? Worship the Devil?
no. I've never head of devil worshiping being accosiated with goths. Wicca ocassionally (common misconception), but not goths. So for a common misconception, he belongs in the rubbish bin and should kill himself? Unless rushrock was making a joke, seeing as though we are talking about goths...

Europeans, how's the EU?
Well in that case, perhaps its thanks to the EU that gun crime is MASSIVELY on the rise in the UK. A reporter smuggled a gun from Eastern Europe into the UK, easy as hell, and this happens thousands of times a day, making guns very very accessible for young 'uns?

Europeans, how's the EU?
:P I do know that a rogue state is something like Iran or North Korea, i just wanted to spice my reply up with a few media buzzwords. And Turkey may well be friendly to the West, but their society works far too differently for there to be (realistically) any real co-operation.
-
Europeans, how's the EU?
^^ Not to mention the slightly rogue states, like Turkey who will be joining soon. Their culture is so different to that of Western Europe i doubt there will ever be a unanimous vote again.

Europeans, how's the EU?
Well I am very opposed to the EU. They do nothing to benefit Britain. They provide us with harsh laws, most of which benefit the tiny minority of people, and silly taxes. Not to mention the fact that we pour millions upon millions of pounds into the EU, only for well developed countries like Spain to claim massive amounts of it to fuel their boats to finish barnacles in our waters. I am all up for finding a way to support struggling countries, much like the Marshall Plan did, but very few countries need ours, France's, Germany's, and any other financially well-off European countries' money to back them, and so I think the EU is flawed and pointless. (Also, Brussel's stupid health and safety laws mean we can't play with fun things in Chemistry :P )

Life of Brian showing in a Church, your opinions?
What is supposed to be the real Jesus is in the movie, and made fun of a bit, right in the beginning, preaching to the masses. And even there, i disagree, how are they making fun of him? Brian and his mother simply can't hear him....

Anyone else getting this 'bug'?
Recently, i've noticed that my brightness reverts to a random, yet very low setting, completely on its own, and random times. I keep my brightness on the top setting, and t'is rather annoying when it keeps reverting to virtual nightime.

what makes a good game?
Well then, you must also admit that the PS3 is an amazing console, same as the Wii. The only reason people bash it so much is for the price and for the lack of good games. Both of those, it seems, will be fixed by next year. So no more "T3h P53 suckz0rz cuz 1ts 600 do114rz0rz and n0 g00d g4m3s." Sony's planning a price cut, and look at the games: MGS4, FFXIII, FF Versus XIII, and many more. I love the Wii, but I wouldn't ever choose one over the other. Anyways, the most important aspects of a game to me are gameplay, the music throughout the game, graphics, originallity (to some extent), and replayability. Also, minigames and secrets in an adventure/RPG game make a game a whole lot better. Best example is chocobos in FFVII and FFIX \ . i have to do nothing of the sort. Sure, the ps3 has good graphics, but its a rubbish console (at least at the launch). It has little to no good launch games, very little 3rd party support and is grossly overpriced.

Wait what? Knowing English isnt required to be a US citizen?

what makes a good game?
Graphics are important too. Admit it. Although I completely disagree with the fanboys who claim 'z0mg, teh ps3 gr4f1x p00n teh w11 so j00 sh\/d buy th4tzors'. They are idiots, and should be treated with great caution, perhaps even with protective gloves.

Life of Brian showing in a Church, your opinions?
Well, as you may or may not be aware, The Monty Python film, Life of Brian is being shown in a Church in Newcastle (or at least in Tyneside/Teeside, I forget) as part of a project by the local film committee to get films into more diverse places. The Bishop of the church it was being shown in says he is completely fine with the film, and loves it. He says he understands where some other religious people get offended by it, but largely theyre just making a big fuss over nothing. I completely agree with him, there is little to no offensive material in the film, it is good natured, and very very well made and scripted. Just wanted your thoughts on the issue? Think the Church are right to hold the film in disdain? Or do you think its great a priest loves the film?

Britain Pulling Out?
I would just like to say, thank you, Krohn and Crimson for such well thought out and passionant arguments. You both provide excellent points, backed up with wonderful examples and opinions and it has been a pleasure to read your mini debate. It provides such a refreshing change to defending myself, or watch others do the same against hypocritical fools, so please, carry on. =D>

Runescape at its best?
Also, don't forget that high leveled f2pers are probably the most experienced/mature bunch of players in RS. They obviously have more perseverance than most, as they have stuck with the limited resources F2P has to offer, and made the best out of them.
