  1. Am I the only one who hates anyone who uses clicḫ̩̉̉s? They just really really piss me off. For example, one teacher at my school tries (without meaning to...i hope..) to get the phrase 'At the end of the day..' in every sentence she makes. And after 5 years of hearing it, it still makes my blood boil. What clicḫ̩̉̉s do you hate? Do you use them? What's your name and address so I can come burn you for using them?
  2. That's a spicy meatball! Someone should try and find the world's spiciest meatball. Then i'd visit it, and join the millions of other smart-arses there and say 'Now THATS a spicy meatball' :P
  3. umm ok lost planet did get as much raten as it should of and call of duty 2 who plays it ne more? I dont know about the Xbox but the PC online community is still massive, and still very very professional. After 2 years of playing it, I only saw my first hacker today...
  4. You really are full of correct, informed opinions, and excell in putting them forward in an intelligent and user-friendly manner, aren't you?
  5. Who makes all the liquid fire? Who makes Bill Clinton a liar? We do! We do! Haha I saw that episode the other night on C4... Didn't the Greeks have this special fire stuff? It could float or something? I dunno..probably too much pear cider in me...
  6. Is it LA or SF thats disgustingly polluted and smoggy in the summer? Assuming its LA, i'd say go with Chicago. That way we could all wear fishnets and bowler hats, and sing Cabareeeeeeeet in public without being seen as weird :P
  7. @bold - Sorry what? I'm going to assume you mean that you want to know whether CO2 is causing temperature change, whether it be up or down, that correct?
  8. My site uses the same ice core data as Al Gore uses in his video, its just that it gets the right interpretation this time. You want evidence? Link for all that - http://www.iarc.uaf.edu/news/news_shorts/akasofu_4_26_06/written_testimony.php Want some more? how about this source? http://www.co2science.org/scripts/CO2ScienceB2C/articles/V3/N23/C1.jsp Or this one? http://www.co2science.org/scripts/CO2ScienceB2C/articles/V2/N2/C4.jsp Or maybe this one? http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/teletubbies You may ask why I included the last one, but then I know full well you won't visit any of my sources, and so there's no danger of me being found out
  9. I present...Viking-man-dude-Thor-person! Fear his multitude of medieval weapons!
  10. Bad news really - now people will gorge themselvesl, in the hope that some gene will save them.. No, its the gene which causes natural obesity, so the real danger is people just accepting they're obese, and not doing anything to change that, ie, diet change, exercise, etc.
  11. Believe me, you don't want me to say what I'm thinking. OH! So that's where I've been going wrong! You see, i've been trying to inhale your posts, not read them, , what was I thinking? @ Bold - Why is it a dangerous thing? Don't quote me on this, but im pretty sure humans could live in an atmosphere of something like 10% CO2 (providing there was still 22-odd-% O2), let alone the tiny tiny 0.002% there is now. Also, you're right, there isn't any conclusive proof, because it's wrong. Ice core samples show there definetly isn't a correlation between global temperature and CO2 levels. @ Italics - It IS! Take your own advice, and read my post, I have quoted a passage from my source, which says that. What more of a conclusion do you want? CO2 does not affect global temperature, it has been PROVEN, go to my source and look at the graphs and explanations. Nuts to your nasa graph, it's pointing out the obvious, without providing an actual point.
  12. Haha, sorry, but I don't understand. That's the thing though, he doesn't need to be either of those. He can cross very very well from the left hand side, and constantly makes those darting runs into the middle, like he did against Man U at the weekend, which resulted in a goal (nearly 2). Leave the tricks to Ronaldo, and the defending to, a defender or something :P
  13. The age restrictions for this forum ARE too low. We need to make the minimum about 2, 2 and a half to keep this guy away... Anyhoo, favourite team, is pretty obvious, no? And my favourite player? Well, I love Matt Taylor and David James. I've loved Matt for the several years he's been with Portsmouth after coming from Luton, and I get more and more angry everytime he isn't chosen for the England squad...he can run circles around half of them any day of the week. And David James is infinetly better than Paul Robinson, and the ball never 'bounces awkwardly' for him either.
  14. The entire conclusiois based on ice core samples fool! Al Gore just failed to mention this lag in his movie. He claimed there was a correlation between CO2 and global temperature, and yet the ice core samples prove him wrong. So what??? Yes, we have put more CO2 into the atmosphere, well done for noticing the entire Industrial Revolution, and the development of coal burning engines, but why does it matter? These ice core samples show the MINIMAL amount of CO2 we are putting into the atmosphere is not affecting global temperature.
  15. Grr. I notice a few of you 'humans are responsible' fools have completely missed the link to the source I gave you. Well, then I'll bring it to you. So then. Temperature has fluctuated massively throughout the last few thousand years. I'm sure you've heard of the mini ice age, where temperatures got so low around Europe, that the Thames froze over. That's never happened again in recorded history. And there was this Medieval Warm Period too, where Europe was so warm, you could grow grapes in Northern England. Certainely can't do that today, but wait a second, I thought the Earth was really warm nowadays? And THAT is the truth. Explain it, please. I'll laugh at your attempts to argue against it. The fact is, Carbon emissions only really became serious on a worldwide scale after the Second World War, in America's economic boom. And yet, the global temperature decreased during this period, strange isn't it? THIS I believe, is the real reason for Global warming. It is completely natural, and there is NOTHING we can do to stop it. And PLEASE don't quote this entire post when you reply with stuff like 'Yeah but Al Gore does gone said my car are bad coz it does go and makes lots of smokeys'. It's a real pain to scroll through an argument when half the text on the page is unnecessary quoting from lazy posters.
  16. Oh and the appendix? I believe it is an unused 'organ' in the lower part of your abdomen...
  17. ^^ That's the reaction I was looking for. Made me smile. :) At least that's one person brought into the light. (Generated by burning fossil fuels, of course :P )
  18. :wall: The idea was to go to the arguments section, and suddenly go  as you realise how uninformed most Global Warming picketers are, and that humans are not responsible.
  19. Damn, can't see why the link won't work. No worries, I'll edit the post.
  20. Haha I had fun laughing at my Man U supporting friend on Saturday, but now is the time to applaud them. Ronaldo, Rooney, Giggs, all proving why Man U are pretty much the best team on the planet at the moment. Hope they win =D> (sides, I hate Chelsea :P )
  21. Please, all you Al Gore supporters, stop blindly following that hypocrite. He doesn't practise what he preaches, and his argument in An Incovenient Truth is largely flawed and he misses out a lot of contradicting information. Before replying to this, I urge you, read about this: http://www.channel4.com/science/microsites/G/great_global_warming_swindle/ Many good things on the site. That programme is what really cemented my belief that the human contribution to global warming is absolute bull crap, and people like Al Gore are just fear mongers. If you've read Michael Crichton's 'State of Fear', you'll know what I mean by that. Edit - I hear the link doesn't work. In that case, google 'The Great Global Warming Swindle', and follow the link to the first site which should be the Channel 4 Minisite.
  22. Actually, we get offended by people like you denying perfectly good people their human rights.
  23. Well, I actually got mine off eBay, but yeah, simple as that. However, when I first got mine, there were a TON of problems, like it not being able to connect etc.
  24. I actually found those middle-class sketches she did quite funny, the rest of them were just annoying really. Dude I just had a look at some of his comedy on youtube. Interesting and strangely compelling. I think the one at the Comedy Store is brilliant. :D Bubsa, my respect for you keeps rising and rising :D And assassin, is Noel the same as Russel Brand, by which I mean, will he grow on me?? At the moment, I just find him bloody annoying. As you say, it's surreal like hell, and I don't find that funny. That's why i'm scared of 'Its a small world', and clowns for example...
  25. That's weird as hell. You may know of John Westwood, an absolute die-hard Portsmouth fan, who goes to every single game? Well, at a Newcastle game recently, my father and I were sat directly in front of him and his little band of drummers (ouch..my ears...). Whenever he got bored, he started: 10.. 9.. 8.. 7.. (etc..) 2.. 1.. Lets all have a disco, lets all have a disco, a na na na OOH, a na na na OOH.
