  1. Yup, using the one button mouse and moving your notes to the sceond to bottom row, you can just click continuously. Much easier. :)
  2. I remember when Nathanich made the original one of this thread. Lets keep this going, these threads always help everyone. :D My tip; When thieving, weild a bow with no arrows and turn your mouse buttons to 1 click. If you are pickpocketing a target, you wont accidently attack it as you have no arrows. 1 click mouse makes it much quicker to thieve and much easier on the hand! :) Btw, this thread should be cleaned of all the useless spam.
  3. The game is located on Mos le Harmless. Try to contribute at least 1 of every ingredient to provide maximun efficiency. Bitternuts are a nuisance to get, so usually people will abandon them and leave other people to get them. Thing is, you need at least 1 bitternut to make a bottle of rum, so it's best to stock up on the harder to get ingredients. To get POH (pieces o' eight - the currency) you will get 2 per every bottle of rum produced, and 1 per every ingredient you collect. A fast way to get the available 100 POH is to gather buckets of water, but once you've collected 100, stop and do something else productive, you don't get any extra points for adding more buckets of water. No burning, it hurts everyone. If you have to burn, burn where it hurts, eg the opposing teams hoppers/boilers. Tip; but a few bottles of rum from Honest Jimmy before you leave, drinking them provide you with a free tele (and a rather cool animation) to the minigame huts. The game is complex, but after a few you will get used to it and be totally addicted. Go get them cool clothes! Good luck. :D
  4. Protect me pl0x. :D Zatrance, GMT, whenever til 10ishpm usually. 89 cb. :)
  5. OMG I just killed jellys for like an hour, and got a normal clue!! First one was npc, puzzle which took half an hour, then wildy coordinate, then wildy dig, then sara wizard, and then box. And all I got was a rune axe, rune dagger, 4k and 9 blue firelighters. :wall:
  6. Sorry to raise this guide from the dead, but this really does deserve some serious kudos. I think we need to bring up this project again, it brings in some hefty firemaking xp. :D Awesome guide.
  7. Updated some pics in achievements section. TIF seriously needs to adjust the filesize limit on sigs..I can't even upload my new sig.
  8. Draynor Mannor is no threat, just dodge the evil tree and you'll be sound. Ghasts are the most irritating beasts in RS, I advise if you need to travel through the swamps just to run using all your energy and trying your best to avoid their attacks. They do not rot your food 100% of the time, and if you do not have any food in your inv, they may hit you for a lowly number like a 2 or 3. Druid pouches can help you defend yourself, but IMHO, it's too much effort to fill them. Beware of the tribesmen! Their posion hits 11! I realised this when I was doing My Arm's Big Adventure quest. The Broodoo victims are vile, they can damage you alot. When I was around your level exploring the jungle I was close to death many a times. The key is preparation. Just bring 2 or 3 Ani poison potions, armour to fend off the Broodoo attacks, a tele just in case, and some food. You wont have to worry about anything then. Hope this helps. :)
  9. Good luck! How come you Burthope Fire Giants? They're awesome experience, and the drops are amazing, I always leave with 100k+ worth of stuff after an assignment there. Heck, I have had 2 left halves there all on assignments, I never suggest Burthoping them. Each to their own. :)
  10. Haiiiiiiii!!! :D Welcome to my wonderous blogiliscious blog. I will be tracking and recording my daily progress, goals and achievements through this shiny new blog. RSN ; Zatrance ( ) Play duration ; Since Feb 06 Stats; Fav outfit ; Latest level Future Goals Long term ; 94 Mage (yeah, dream on) 60 Herblore 60 Farming Fire Cape 4k Chompy kills hat Short Term ; Infinity boots X 56 Herblore X 60 Smithing X 71 Hunter Quest cape (211 QP atm) _________________________________________________________ Achievements 1500 Will add more later when I get round to cropping the pics. _________________________________________________________ As I said, I shall be tracking my day to day progress, so here is day 1. 27.11.06 I logged on today, ravagely scouring the servers for a world free from trap stealers at the Red Sallys. After 14 server tries, I finally accessed a world that was free, I had 4 traps to myself, great! I train for about an hour and decide to leave it there as I was getting burnt out. I will probably start training again later on when I feel in the mood. I logged back in and got 61 Hunter, I'm getting tired of training now. 28.11.06 Logged on feeling uninspired and bored, I need something to spark my interest. Had a chat with Saskia Snow, she's really friendly. =) I'll see how I feel about logging back on later, to be honest, HW has got on top of me and I'm feeling unenthusiastic (sp) about RS, may cancel membership and have a break until I feel interested again. Or may even make the biggest achievement of all in this game - quitting. Who knows? 2.12.06 I have cut out the last 4 days simply because I had nothing interesting to write. I hadn't play much at all, was concentrating on school work and other rl things. Well, last night I decided to go to Barrows with Jake, I did a couple of runs with no succsess, I'm on a serious dry run. Oh well, I will go savage those tight bro's another day. I started a new goal, only a small one, I wanted 61/61 Smithing so as to make it easier to stew to 65 for Devious Minds. I would also get 63 Mining ( :anxious: ) and 74 Magic along the way. I weilded my trusty pickaxe and trudged over to Fally to get some hardcore rock extracting done. Ahhh, reminds me of the good ole days of RSC, camping in the Mining Guild power mining. I currently have around 500 coal, half way there. :) 3.12.06 I achieved my small mining goal of 1k coal and gained 1 mining level. I'm currently at PC, this mini game gets so excruciatingly, mind numbingly boring. I want 100 points for 60 prayer, but the repetitiveness is starting to aggrivate me. I'm going to go buy 500 iron and get some needed smithing done. 23.12.06 Ressurecting this blog, just realised I still haven't ''got round to'' smithing the steel, that's my flaw, I find it hard to be consistant and stick to goals. Since last posting, I have gained a few levels, but mainly been idle with RL. I upped my QP to 207, just need to tidy up by finishing a couple of easy ones, and then get cracking on Mep1/2. Blitz some Cave Horrors today, got a clue, 1 Zammy wizzy. Ran to Mage Arena to bank, some frantic mage pker (lvl 96) decided to teleblock me, dds spec me and mage me, Toast passed me (didn't help :shame: ) but I managed to get away fortunately. Another wildy dig. 3 clues later and I end up getting a reward of 2 rune legs, Sara page 2 (3rd one from clues in last week) and black dhide body. Was quite happy actually, usually getting a rune axe and a rune pickaxe as my rune goods, I was satisfied. 24.12.06 Xmas eve eh? I went to the Pirates Cove to try the Mossies there. They are stupendous exp + Ranarr and Snapdragon seeds, no complaints. :D Think I may log off RS now for a day or 2 to celebrate Xmas. Happy Crimb0 everyone! Have fun. 30.12.06 After 2 days of solid Mage Training Arena, I finally earned Bones to Peaches! I'm going back to get Infinity boots soon. I also gained 2 Mage levels in the process. 3.12.06 I achieved 63 Slayer last night, 2 more til my goal is complete. Currently at Daggs (good exp) If anyone wants to lend me a cannon... :P 7.1.07 After 4 days of hardcore Slayer training I finally reached my goal of 65 slayer. I'm so happy. : 8.1.07 Last night was ''eventful'' to say the least. Well, I'm currently camping at Dusties, Jagex tease me with those red vambs. Everytime I look in the pile of bones to see a red thing sticking out I nearly pass out, then my excitement quickly dies. Oh well, going to Barrows later with Jake [would put a wub smiley put out of smiley space] I'm sick of all the immature idiots this game is ridden with, so I'll just ignore them. Zat out, for now. ;) 13.1.07 i wub j00 Jake. I fletched 1.6k yew longs and gained 2 levels, alched them for a lowly 76 mage. I gave the pixel geepees to Skill, thanks for buying me the supplies. Currently fishing monks with Jake. Also been farming ranarrs, herbloring using teh skill herb to the blorism (4k from 56) dancing in edgy etc. Kolipri admits she is secretly a man! =o Jake I wub lub jub j00. Most generous, kindest, caring, thoughtful, hawt (h) person evar. <33333333333333 6.2.07 Hai peeps. It's abut time I updated this blog! Hmmf, well I have gained a couple of levels, so that stat pic is outdated. I got infinity boots from MTA, I think I'll go for mages book next. 40 Barrows dry run. And I sold some st00fz and bought a santa I have longed for for like ever. _________________________________________________________ Random pic of the day ----------------------- Bank Picz0rz
  11. Hey, I'm Zatrance, saw you a few times whilst hunting, I wish you luck with your goals, and I love your stats!
  12. I enjoyed A Tail Of Two Cats, I loved the storyline (cats ) and the cutscenes were awesome, the added humour made it an all round stunning quest. :D Recruitment Drive was a well constructed quest, I loved the concept of doing ''tests'' as a kind of initiation, I thought taht was really well thought out. Lunar Diplomacy is up there for the best though, it was long, challenging, frustating at some parts, but also fun, knowledgeable and rewarding. Along with those, Monkey Madness, Desert Treasure, Eyes of Glouphrie, Elemental Workshop II (awesome!), Garden of Tranquility and Enakha's Lament. :)
  13. Hys, I am Zatrance (teh noob one) but my forum alias is DeadPolkaDots1, you can call me Zat, Zatrance, w/e. B 50 2 told me he wanted to make a joined blog so I thought, you're joking, no wayyy am I going to get 99 hunter. But he has persuaded me to do it! :D I will be racing Jake to 99. I only started really doing Hunter and not just messing round and experimenting, yesterday, thus I am only level 35 ATM, but I really love this skill so why not set up a blog and share all our exciting Hunter adventures! :3> Just got 40...fast xp!! :D Got 50 before, next..60! :D Well, I just got 58 Hunter, so what? I hear you say, well that's not the significant part, I just achieved 1500 total! I am estatic, now for 1600. Ty Jake for gratsing me. Hunt on! :D
  14. Yes, Snapdragons are a better money maker (obviosuly) but to grow they require a rather high farming level which the majority of people don't have. As opposed to Ranarr weeds which require a novice Farming level, but they can still make you big bucks. :) well....getting 62 farming took me about 20 hours of pure farming time(second to 62, first to everything above), so its not accually hard, just like any skill- to earn big bucks, youll have to work a little too. Granted, but I am highlighting Ranarrs, the purpose of this guide isn't to dismiss any other Farming money makers, but to simply share a technique that nearly everyone can do if they bother to raise Farming. Good luck with the Snapdragons though, :)
  15. Indeed, Ranarr seeds are a great investment, and since they can be growing simultaneously, it is a top money maker IMO. :) Good luck with your farming! Again, a demonstration of the profit margin. :D I don't have all the quests to do with Farming more, so I think that may just be a rumour. As far as I know, only compost, watering and plant cure can affect the chances of crop survival. Yes, Snapdragons are a better money maker (obviosuly) but to grow they require a rather high farming level which the majority of people don't have. As opposed to Ranarr weeds which require a novice Farming level, but they can still make you big bucks. :)
  16. Good luck with your goals. I had a zogre slaughtering spree too, though I burried all the normal zogre bones. This way I gathered a good load of ancestral bones each trip, I ecotoed these and gained about 4 prayer levels! :D They are great for Range+Prayer exp, but it can be a pain to make all the arrows.
  17. This is my trademark outfit. I'm loving the costumes so far, so snazzy. :3> Good luck people. :D
  18. I have a question for you if you don't mind sir. Should we or should we not sell our rares ATM? As it is speculating that with Hunter rares are gonna keep decreasing in value. Well I recently bought an easter for 13.5mil, they are now lingering around 12mil ish, should I keep it or sell it ? Thankies. :3>
