I think they shouldn't use a multiplier that decreases over time. Why not make it 1.4x for the whole weekend or something. That would prevent getting insane ammounts of summoning/farming/someotherskills exp.

No, that one was horrific for me as well. Falconry is not the quick, easy fix it was made out to be. Yeah. You both probably had it worse than me, but it took me 1.5 hours to get the first two hunter rocks from falconry.

Why not play rsc if the extra exp weekend and all the tweaks they've made to make the skills easier to train bother you so much? You'll surely find some other 'old' generation veterans there with the same ideals to circle jerk with.

I've got most of my 99 skills before they were made piss easy and I haven't complained once. It's only reasonable that they make some of the skills easier to train because most of the players don't enjoy massive grind fests like you seem to do. If the skills are easier to train they can add more high level content to these skill because more than 500 people can actually access that new content. More people will also try to get those high stats instead of going "oh well, I'm not going to click and drop hundreds of thousands of granite for being able to do that"

Are you excited about the Bonus XP Weekend? Nope, not really. Which skill do you plan to focus on for the Bonus XP Weekend? Farming. How will you be preparing for the Bonus XP Weekend? Bought 40 magic seeds and 15 palm seeds. I will only log in to check and replant the trees, so I will get as much cheap farming exp as possible. I'll still have to figure out the fastest possible route for doing this so I won't waste any time.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get the crafting rocks by making holy symbols? I've made over 500 of them now and haven't got a single rock yet.

I'll say it again, no, zeros didn't always mean that you missed. Sometimes your hit would fall between 0 and 1, and thus round down to zero. Thus why sometimes magic hit zero when it didn't splash, and why sometimes I would weaken tormented demons when my darklight hit a zero. In the case of noobs, whose max hit is a 1 (or more accurately a 1.4), a LOT of their hits would fall between 0 and 1, which means about a 64% chance of hitting zero on a HIT, and that's not even including the MISSES. Obviously for higher level players whose range of damage is higher, it won't decrease your zeroes by a whole lot, because the majority of the zeroes will come from simply missing. But rounded zeroes DID still happen, of course, since I still hit the occasional 1-9 hit even with the new system. Ok thanks. For some silly reason I thought it would always round to 1 if approaching zero.

What's with all the "BAWWW THEY CHANGED IT BECAUSE NOOBS COULDN'T HANDLE ALL THE 0 HITS :(((((((((((("? If you hit 0 that means the enemy managed to block your attack. If your attack connects you will always deal some damage (1-"your max hit") Or did they change defence as well?

Give me an example of why it was needed. Don't give me bull**** like Oh because we hit too many zeros. well stfu, because i've seen plenty of zeros in duel arena. Yeah, Let's not make the already really stiff and inconvenient HP system a bit more flexible for future updates and already existing content. Instead they should make it even more inconvenient by chaging the max hp to 9! That would make runescape even more original! It's not like all those HP boosting items and equipment should be usefull at all.

Item Duping
Lets just hope that they get meaningless jobs and never amount to anything important; where they could mess that up. OR that they get caught, reprimanded, and learn from their mistake before it hurts them too much. Most posters here are rather young. It's not really that surprising if they still think like that.

This. support Yeah, because everyone that doesn't enjoy challenges that include poorly designed T&E difficulty and consist of 1.5 hours of repeative gameplay, that still reguires you to pay attention to what you're doing, fails am I rite!? Most people who don't have a fire cape simply don't want to go through all that [cabbage]. Also I think that it's stupid that the ability to kill the strongest slayer monster is just another reward for the fight caves. A great cape and a nice ammount of tokkul should be a good enough reward for that mini game, considering that many other mini games have far worse rewards. Maybe next they'll introduce dragon smithing for those who enjoy the rat pitts minigame. (no one)

But it would be ELDER GOD grandmaster level content! Surely you want some harsh reguirements for that so not everyone can do it. The reason for such reguirement could be that the slayer monster is a gigantic queen bee that lives in a massive beehive and you need the armour to sneak in past the bee barrier that protects the beehive from intruders.

I hope they create a slayer monster that reguires 95 slayer and a full set of the best castle wars armor to kill them. I wonder how many people who are against the compromise would whine about the reguirement for that.

I meant the guys that didn't get the cape themself. That's kinda like buying a maxed account because you're a wussy who couldn't grind his stats himself and then whining when they make some skills easier to train. (Yeah that's a bad example) It's cool that they've added some new highlevel content lately and I hope that they'll continue to do so.

And your point? Fire Cape should be removed? If someone wants to put your account at risk, that's their issue. It has nothing to do with the requirement itself. My point is that I find it amusing how some guys, who didn't even get the fire cape themself, shout here and on RSOF how there shouldn't be any compromises to the fire cape reguirement.
