HOW DID YOU KNO-Oh, my mistake. Looks like the troll is still on the prowl. Or the lumber, or however trolls move.

Where in the World is Tip.it?
Hah, you're awesome. Returned my marker to its former glory now. EDIT: This is also why we can't have nice things. Took me ages to give Australia a saucy smile.

Political Poll
I'm not sure why people don't answer this question, I've got a pretty clear idea; The Big Society is the concept that everyone should be consciously considering and doing things that help the local community in general, instead of doing everything according to pure self-interest. It's a mindset. Extreme examples are participating in volunteer projects to renovate dilapidated parks, removing unwanted graffiti or help run a public event, but it also includes smaller things like keeping hold of litter until you find a bin, being polite to people in public, having a tidy front garden, going to that local shop on the corner instead of going to a supermarket. Simply being a nice decent member of society, really. So simply ethos which every "decent" person should already have in them? That's pretty ridiculous. Why is it ridiculous? It's ethos which should already be installed into people through their upbringing. If it isn't there at the start it won't be there at the end. That doesn't sounds ridiculous, that makes perfect sense. A sense of social responsibility fundamentally comes from education, which is where the government comes in. That's the point. Am I missing something?

A New country is born
Pretty much, although both the Koreas don't officially recognise each other and both claim to be the sole legitimate government of the whole Korean peninsula, so the official naming there is for a slightly different reason.

Political Poll
I'm surprised that there haven't been any people who voted SNP yet (or any independence supporting party), considering that they have an absolute majority in the Scottish Assembly.

A New country is born
I think people are going to start calling the northern country North Sudan, but officially, the two countries are the Republic of Sudan and the Republic of South Sudan. It's probably like that because changing the name of an already existing country sounds like an administrative nightmare. It doesn't really matter, so long as the two places recognise each other's sovereignty. Here's to a happy birthday to the world's newest nation.

Political Poll
Thanks for the answer. I stick by my belief that Constitutions are best left unwritten, really.

Political Poll
As much as I'd love to have the debate elsewhere, the ethics of gun control isn't the point. Right or wrong, I'm suggesting a possible but hypothetical situation where the repealment of the Second Amendment the the enforcement of gun control has popular American public support, and the politicians reflect that sentiment. Let me generalise, if the constitution explicitly banned the government from enacting a certain law, what is stopping the government from amending the constitution in a way that nullifies the offending amendment and then enacting that law? EDIT: Also, huh. So tip.it is a bit left wing.

Political Poll
If gun ownership wasn't protected by the constitution, you'd better believe that guns would have been outlawed by now. Forcing politicians to adhere to a constitution prevents them from changing laws all willy-nilly, especially in a political climate as chaotic as this one. The Constitution is a "living document," which means that it is meant to be modified through the ways it set up. The founding fathers were smart enough to know that the times change, so a constitution must change as well. The Constitution is meant to change. If the Constitution was set in stone, and one of the provisions was that slaves were to account as 3/5ths of a person, it would make sense that people would ignore that part, and it would make sense that they might ignore other parts as well. Since we're able to change the Constitution, it makes all the more sense that we must adhere to it. So what's stopping politicians from repealing the Second Amendment, then restricting gun ownership like they do over here in the UK? Surely they have the democratic authority to do that.

Dungeonsweepers (DGS) - Huge changes; read first post.
I know this might be too early to ask, but are people interested in establishing a DGS Citadel? Maintaining it would be a nice thing for people to do while they're waiting for floors.

Where are the all vets at?
Thought I would never see you post again. Then again I'm busy as hell lately so I'm probably just inactive. @Will, yeah. If I had the chance I would probably punch my former self. But I guess, again, that's a part of growing up right? Me too, but I probably couldn't help it. Puberty's a [bleep]. In any case, what's done is done, I'm over that now. Also, wow, I didn't realise that Rebdragon was still around. Hi.

Political Poll
You nearly had me there for a moment, Ru. Most of you guys know I'm a Tory, who in most people's books I imagine would count as slightly right-of-centre. I figure that overall, the right-wing posters are about equal to the left-wing posters here. A hearty mix. That said, I'm a UKIP sympathiser and I'd probably vote for them in the European election, because they aren't in the unfortunate position of being in coalition with the Liberal Democrats when it comes to the question of the EU. It isn't quite as simple as "which party do you vote for".

@ Urza285: I don't believe most people would consider an in-game pop-up ad as an f2p update. @ everyone: Now what will you say when those pop-ups start advertising external products? If that pop-up had been pushing Mountain Dew or Tim Tams, what would have been your reaction? "Wow... you've been slaying those frosties for an hour now. And speaking of frosties, wouldn't a cold Mountain Dew hit the spot right about now?" It's sad to watch this game slide on down the way it is going. It's like watching an old friend die slowly and painfully. You wish they would just hurry up and cross over already. Back when MMG took over as Jagex head honcho from Iddison, the first thing he did as a career defining move was publicly apologise. He apologised for all of the advertising for the member's game in the free game, and the video ads that were appearing when you logged in the free game, and vowed to remove both. He also made it a policy to remove as many mentions of "You can only do that on a member's world" messages from f2p as possible, such as from pickpocketing. It was akin to a new fresh-faced political party taking over a failed government and reversing nearly all of the unpopular policies of the previous one in one go. It was probably the most warmly received and universally applauded thing that ever came out of Jagex, short of the High Detail graphical overhaul update, and even them I'm doubtful. What's happened now is that the party 'in power' has taken on the policies of the previous one. It's either a terrible change of heart for MMG since then, or he's losing control over company policy. History is repeating itself, I just hope it continues to repeat to the part where Jagex has another correction in its policy in order to put the players first again. Being British, I find the idea of product placement abhorrent, but I guess it might not be a big deal for people that are used to it.

Where are the all vets at?
Oh man, I was such a [puncture] in general back then. I've still got some fond memories though. Especially that Drawball thread, I loved that. I wouldn't call myself a veteran, but I've been here a while.

That is unacceptable. I've kept myself quiet about the Loyalty Programme, but that's really wrong. MMG has somehow become what he originally claimed to hate the most, the CEO who thinks F2P is a demo for the member's game and thinks it's alright to bug F2Pers into upgrading.

I don't think acolyte armour would have been an appropriate reward for this quest. This was more about a group of people with a common goal, one of which happened to be a Temple Knight. The mission wasn't directly given by the Temple Knights to you, and you weren't provided with the full assistance via comm orb that I'd expect with a true Temple Knight assignment. Besides, this was really a problem you (the player) caused. They're not going to promote you again for fixing it.

You're not, I highly enjoyed the quest. The multi-NPC interface, which they're thankfully reusing, seems more polished than Three's Company. I'd like them to continue doing that, because it has potential. My biggest gripe is that the camera controls need improvement, and it should follow the selected character/one of the selected characters, not where they're running to. Also, this: [hide] I was really surprised when Mother Mallum took over my body. Decent "Oh crap" moment.[/hide]

How to train Dungeoneering?
Dear god people, the OP's asked a legitimate question. Answer it to the best of your ability and leave. You gain nothing from trying to cast doubt on the integrity of fellow posters. I would recommend keeping an eye out for when any resource dungeons become available, and discover them immediately. A lot of things that give XP give you more of it at higher levels, including actually Dungeoneering, and opening up resource dungeons gives you enough XP to effectively skip a few levels and get you the bigger XP rates as soon as possible.

Thought of another one: Can we move our Player Owned Houses onto our Clan Citadel?

Ask Jagex About Clan Citadels! - ANSWERS!
How much is the Construction skill involved, and are there features that aren't purely decorative that require levels higher than 75 in that skill?

Giant Rocks falling from the sky
I'll admit, Jagex is getting classier with their ingame teasers. What I can't fathom is the rock in the middle of castlewars, it almost completely blows the idea of the rocks forming the ritual locations out of the water, even though most of the other locations support that theory. Maybe they're just rocks, and the ritual locations will arrive separately. I can imagine the possibility of Citadels falling out of the sky being an important plot point for future quests. If I was a villian, that's how I'd wreck the world.
