  1. Out of curiosity, how much time does it take to get a zerker (i)?

Agnostic is an adjective, you'd either be agnostic atheist or agnostic theist. You're going to have to explain that one to me. I've always thought a true agnostic would just state that there is no way to know or logically infer anything about the existence or nature of God and that all further discussion on the subject is futile or inconsequential. Some people still believe in ridiculous things and it is classed as a religion. It isn't in most of the world. I refuse to see it as a religion. It is a cult, full stop. I actually find it offensive to be recognised next to religions. There is no true distinction between religions and cults. The second is only a derogatory term for the former.
  3. I imagine that you would end up having to 'downgrade' your citadel if the levels of your clan drop below the required amounts for a certain tier. Alas, this is another reason why the clan system can't cope with multi-clanning. People can [bleep] out their levels all they like, but it's probably only going to matter if those people actually stay in the clan. EDIT: I'm really hoping that this update will give us some useful content for Construction between 75 and 99. Being a show of wealth is fun and all, but this is a good opportunity to add some meat to that end of the skill.
  4. I'd like it if you could move your house into your clan citadel. Would also justify that silly Yanille portal that I shouldn't have built in marble in my house and can't bear to take down.

Caucasian, Hetrosexual, Pseudo-Christian. In these kinds of questionnaires, I normally write down my religion as Christian, because that conforms with my true beliefs the closest. However, I have my own ideas that aren't Christian. One of my biggest differences is that I believe the concept of the immortal soul as Christianity teaches it is logically impossible, but I still believe that souls and persons should be subject to minimal harm wherever and whenever they happen to exist. The possibility of the creation, destruction and duplication of personalities still does not diminish the value of any personality at any time. That said, I do believe in the existence of an omnipotent immanent creator of the universe. The being that penned down the laws that the universe to allow the majesty of the whole thing to come into existence. Alright, Christian. Good enough.
  6. And this update just became worthless to me. No longer going to be looking for a clan to join. Then you, like many other people in this thread, are demonstrating an astounding lack of creativity. What about banks, furnaces, anvils, party rooms, mass transportation, access to POH's? What about the enjoyment of actually working as a group to build a large structure you can call your own? Honestly. Bandwagons are fun and all, but you can't criticise Jagex for rolling out actually good concepts for updates. If this is what I think this is, this is the 'real' Clan Update.
  7. The simplicity and elegance of the whole thing is remarkable. I'm thinking of the possibility of variations and combination tasks too. As a simple example, cut down 347 Yew logs, then burn 347 Yew logs, for a bonus in woodcutting and firemaking xp. Skills are meant to work together, why not embrace that?

It's not just western society dude. Even ancient history depict women having no hair beneath the neck to exhibit more feminine look. Nearly every woman in the world shaves their pits for the same reason. The only women not shaving are either rebels or just simply crazy. By Western society, I meant to include our history (ancient or otherwise). I don't address outside of western society because I have no knowledge of it, and do not claim to, lest my ignorance show. Although I admire your humility, you probably should have said that first. As far as I know, I don't think there are many cultures, ancient or modern, in the world that don't encourage or even outwardly discourage women to shave their armpits. It's pretty much a tendancy common to humans, like couples staying together in the long term when raising a child or the older generations imparting their knowledge to the younger generations. Of course, shaving armpits isn't as useful in the biological sense, but that kind of thing happens when you get civilisations and cultures going.

We don't eat fish and chips as often as you'd expect. We are more likely to get an Indian or a Chinese if we want a takeaway.
  10. Let me get this straight; the OP makes quite a lot of controversial assertions on international affairs. Then, the OP demands that we get rid of the organisation that is there to determine whether those very assertions are true or not. That just sounds to me like someone who can't handle truths which don't agree with their world-view. I have my doubts on the possibility of an unbiased International Criminal Court as well, but these kinds of arguments can't be made on opinionated terms (I don't agree with what the ICC said, therefore they don't deserve to exist etc.).
  11. I'm slightly concerned that you were looking for sexual aspects in a TV show that is primarily about animated young female ponies. Or maybe not. That might just be your thing, in which case, I won't judge.
  12. I figured that there are so few rares now that they really don't impact the economy that much. For most people I've talked to, they don't consider having a rare as a goal that they'd be willing to go for. Instead, they'd go for useful pseudo-rares like the greater spirit shields or a Zarosian armour set. This trend is only set to continue, and I'm fine with that.
  13. DGS recommends Skype, and it's best that we keep to one VoIP program. It's hard enough to get people together who are ready and willing to use VoIP for a floor (although it does make Dungeoneering both more fun and more efficient), incompatibility between people will only increase the problem. The fact that the companies who offer these services don't seem to be bothering in making an industry standard means that this is going to be an issue for many years to come. Teamspeak would have probably been a better standard in the first place since it's more optimised for use in games, but more people have and use Skype, and that, like it or not, takes a higher priority. If your connection's good enough to Dungeoneer (?) well, you should be perfectly fine for a Skype conference. Give it a try. On another note, I'm going to join the exclusive Gorgonite Gauntlets 3rd Bind club when I get to 100. Or at least until I get my mitts on a Blood Necklace.
  14. Cheers guys :) Also, new trophy for my sig. The guy who did the thing for the old sig didn't do a version for Dungeoneering, so I made my own, shamelessly butchered from the RS interface.
  15. So, yeah. [hide] Fear my noob stats. [/hide]
  16. A Dragon Dagger (p++), that is, one that's been covered in super strong poison. It used to be called Dragon Dagger(s) a long time ago, and hence everyone called it a dds. Even after it was changed, everyone still calls it that. It's extremely effective as a special weapon for its price, although you need to do Lost City to use it. EDIT: At the time of posting, the Grand Exchange puts it at the hilarious price of 22.3K coins.
  17. Looking forward to landing an untrimmed Dungeoneering cape tomorrow. I don't even have any other skills over 90, thanks to you guys. Making me waste all of my time in these bloody dungeons.
  18. Hmm, the world queuing is actually really smoothly done. The fact that you can see where you are in the queue in real time is a nice touch that I wish other games would employ. I'm serious when I say: Good job, Jagex.

I figured that the first quote pyramid was a bit of harmless fun, a collective joke, but making a new one was a bit boring. I hate the feeling of stubble on my face. Being clean shaven is fine, having a beard is fine, but having stubble feels horrible.
  20. I think it would be better if we dismantled this system and made public sector workers get their pay in exactly the same manner that private sector workers get theirs. The average pay should be equal for the equivalent job, and the average pension should be equal for the equivalent job. If the employer and employee can't agree with the pay, then they can decline to work and don't get paid. Let market forces sort it out. Forget unions, let every single worker make their own decisions, because unions are intrinsically open to corruption and greed.
  21. What if it isn't a big story because the media loves China? I feel like that's more likely. What? Sarcasm I do believe, he was pointing out that China's not exactly a government known for releasing facts to the press for worldwide scrutiny. I'm not being sarcastic, there is a left wing bias in the media. In some people's eyes, China can do no wrong because they want socialism/communism/something other than capitalism. And the whole Chinese censorship probably plays a role too - I'm surprised the reporter even got to interview the toy shop owner, let alone cross the borders. I agree that there's a general left wing bias in the media, but that's because it's much easier to write a story that appeals by talking about where social injustices and cases of inequality are occurring and minimising it, one of the foundations of left-wing politics. Contrast that with the right wing, which is very much about criticising undeserving individuals and praising the deserving individuals. It requires more commitment and effort, and the only result is getting a different but generally equally paying audience. My point is, a free media in general never actually 'wants' something other than raking in as much money and audience as possible for the least effort, and that gravitates to the centre-left. That means a mistrust of capitalist values and financial authority figures like bankers and large corporations, but they aren't communists either. It's populism. You're assuming some kind of force towards the left, when it's more of a path of least resistance.
  22. Voted yes, and I only partially regret my vote. Still, it's greatly improved my personal enjoyment of the game.
  23. The fact of the matter is the west's many environmental inefficiencies are beginning to pale in comparison to China's. There's always more work to be done to sort out environmentally sound ways of doing, well, everything here, but China's disregard for such things threatens to cancel out our efforts at lessening our impact on the environment. We all live on/orbit around the same planet, and a lot of this is fundamentally a global issue. A bunch of computers is one thing, but a city is a whole different kettle of fish. Also, nobody listens* to the UK Green party because they're considered by many circles to be the voice of the irrational far-left, and they've politically branched beyond what their 'Green' title justifies. I commend the work of many environmental groups, but the Green party somehow manages to simultaneously lose the view of the bigger picture as well as extending beyond their mandate. *Apart from Brighton Pavilion, apparently. But hey.

Although I don't know any good video player apps, here are some of my favorite Market ones on my phone. Some apps may be UK only: Voice Search by Google, handy for calling a contact or doing a google search quickly. It can do other stuff too if you use US English, like write texts or search for music on your player of choice. The ubiquitous Google Maps, which also has a beta for Google Navigation built in. Think sat-nav. RealCalc. As far as I'm aware, the best calculator. Has enough functions for regular student and business use, including trigonometric and inverse trigonometric functions, base 10 logs, natural logs, roots, powers, and some statistical functions like nCr, nPr, and factorials. Dolphin Browser HD, a more feature rich browser than the Android one, reminiscent of Google Chrome. Google Goggles, mostly a bit of fun, it's an app for making searches using pictures taken by your camera. Gimmicks aside, it can read QR codes, which can provide you with URLs or links to apps. TuneIn Radio, a magnificent internet radio player. Comes with a decent widget too. If it's available in your area, Spotify is hugely popular, and its premium service gives you access to this cloudy music player app. It's basically a huge database of music that you rent access to on a subscription. In the UK, Rail Planner Live is an invaluable tool for those pesky train services, although it's not free. Google Goggles for music, Shazam can take a sample using the microphone and (hopefully) identify any song that's playing. Note: All links are to the official Android Market.
  25. What reality are you living in, Wessan? 1. Runescape's going strongly and showing no signs of slowing down. 2. The graphics (assuming you put it to the highest settings) really aren't bad for an MMO. Have you had a look at Lumbridge Swamps or the area south of Falador? Or the Warped floors of Daemonheim? The entire game is going to be that good. 3. Nostalgia threads aren't that common, and certainly aren't more common than they've always been, considering the age of this game. 4. There is a healthy balance to be had of small and large updates. Yes, we're due a big update, but not unusually so. I would personally like a significant expansion of the map. 5. I find it ironic that you want worthwhile updates when at the same time you want something as inconsequential as a Dragon Kiteshield. It's a decorative item at best.
