  1. Yea, you got a point there. 99% of their posts could be mistaken for live-chat they happen so fast :-?
  2. ____ replied to DaN's topic in Off-Topic
What do you expect from a thread that's almost a year old
  3. Could do it, but you'd need to have your adblock on something pretty extreme for it to start blocking css :-?
  4. Can't say I use IE enough to tell you how to fix that problem either :-? Edit: that's quite odd. I wasn't even aware you could disable CSS in IE, and I've been through the settings a lot for it. What version and is he running a firewall?
  5. For me it is more a case of 'sex anywhere is never out of the question'. double beds are just, meah. Too small for... what we do.

That would explain a lot then :anxious: Although she was fairly tomboyish so she really did do that. Then we went and played billiards for an hour or so and all was good \
  7. Yea... i wonder if they'd care if you setup a macro to post for you... get a few machines in a network, start it running to post exactly on the post limit, and bam... 2mil soon enough..
  8. It was never the biggest phpbb forum, Gaia has always held that title. I seem to remember that at its peak it was the 3rd biggest phpbb forum in terms of number of members, less in terms of articles posted. I meant 17th biggest phpbb forum, not 17th biggest dk3 forum :x And I've already posted numerous times that Gaia Online is the biggest overall :-?
  9. I'm still trying to work that out myself. Let's just say one of you could be Daan. So either way, it's win-win with you two :P
  10. Hmm, then if there are 2 people talking to you, me and Necromagus, one of us is trying to molest you? Makes sence. Well, it is necro you're talking about. Now .... actually, the guys got a point.
  11. Thing is though, you didn't query anything. You accused people of joining this forum for no reason other than to post in Off Topic. And there is two problems with what you posted. 1. Yes, tip.it is a Runescape fansite - the actual forum is for Runescape and ARENAscape. 2. You blatanty ignored the complete possibility that a lot of people on this forum have since quite one or both of the above games. And from the sounds of things, off topic isn't the limit of your spite either. But since I don't venture into any sectiosn related to Runescape - I'll just assume that Bubsa is telling the truth.
  12. 5 says I could kill it :P A while ago I would've suggested trying slackware, but it's kind of faded from the server OS aspect of things now :( Bit of a pity really.
  13. don't forget insecure.
  14. Hardly. Get something like EditPlus or Notepad++, something with syntax highlighting. If you're only working with .html files and such, you can just keep a window / tab open with the page in it and just refresh when you make a change. Two benifits to that. 1. You aren't being [bleep]ed around by a WYSIWYG editor failing to render your code correctly 2. You can actually see how changes to the html change your page. Rather than changing it in design view and then trying to find what html changes occured.
  15. [cabbage]. Quick Nadril, move to Australia :anxious:
  16. Nah, the "original" tip.it forums pre-dates scapeboard by a year or thereabout, and that's if you count the time on dk3 before tip.it aquired the domain name scapeboard. Don't get picky with me, I know scapeboard wasn't the very first :P
  17. hmm.. This is all I generally do (in games like AOE and such): 1. 150 strong paladins / pikemen (or similar unit) 2. Send 100 of them into battle 3. Flank the base with the other 50 4. While the 150 are fighting, have more queued from your original base to replenish what was lost 5. Send in some civilian units to build more military buildings on their remaining flank 6. Start pumping out units from THAT side rather from your original town. As for RA2 and the like: Just keep making rocketeers (if allies), or 100 or so flack troopers, and a heap of apocolypse tanks (15 usually works) with rhino's. Either one generally works very effectively. And if in doubt, just rush them. That also works. Go for population sustaining buildings first, then unit producing buildings. Doesn't hurt to knock out the occasional group of civilaisn collection resources either. But if you're rushing - bugger them and go straight for the original base.
  18. The original forums for tip.it were located at http://www.scapeboard.com They were closed when the admins left dk3 as their host, and we lost the database for the form due to dk3 not wanting to hand it over (to put it nicely). http://www.big-boards.com/board/32/
  19. Wouldn't even be close. Might be top 10, but nowhere near #1
  20. ____ replied to sheepdean's topic in Off-Topic
Suprised it didn't turn up before, TBH :| Indeed. It's more than a feeling. It's what you do in general to reflect that feeling. Hard to explain but I'm sure people get the gist of that. Aye, Ethans a little slow on the uptake sometimes :P
  21. ____ replied to sheepdean's topic in Off-Topic
This is love :3> In all seriousness, I'm not quite sure what it is. I can't describe it :(
  22. You're a rare one :-s Anyhow, another Aussie to slowly take over OT, sweet. The army is slowly getting bigger \
  23. Gaia Online with 4,105,459 users having made 687,457,455 posts (when I checked). And tip.it is #55 for phpbb forums... :(
  24. biggest phpbb forum sounds more correct :P
