Personally, I've found it easier to learn by dismantling the scripts of others. It was the same with xhtml and css. I'd go out and look up how to do things, go through all the source, throw in comments and then apply what I had learnt to my own problems. Anyhow, I stand by your recommendation of PHP and MySQL Web Deveolopment, 3rd Edition. I think I've got the second edition floating around here somewhere. I haven't seen it for a while so I'm not sure :(

PHP is perhaps one of the most straightforward languages you'll ever come across. And the dollar sign is for variables. Anything else is most likely a constant, keyword or method call :P Edit: I do hope all you people learning [X]HTML are learning to a standard?

I'm horrible with names as well. This isn't a joke, but it took me almost 2 months to retain the names of the people in some of my subjects during my first year of uni :lol: And these were people I associated with close to 8 or 9 times a week...

Sounds about my feelings towards people in general. Same here. I'm not a big fan of my "classmates". This will come off completely like I'm being racist, but at my uni, having English as a first language puts you in the minority. And I hate having to work with anyone else with passion because of it. Language barriers ftl :ugh: There's perhaps 4 people in my entire degree who I could say I'm friends with. And even then I like my co-workers more than them. And I see them less.

It's exactly that, she's discrimating only because of skin colour. He'd done absoluting nothing to offend her other than being born with dark skin. Now if he was a fat slob sitting there sweating and smelling rank - i could understand the request for another seat. But her reasons are just screaming racist. While I might not have a great like for certain races I'm not about to get moved unless they start pissing me off through their behaviour. Her "right to move" as you call it, is pathetic abuse of the system. The airline stewards noticed this and so left her in coach and let the obvious victim into first class.

This is just it though, while they have a UK address, this scheme is not being performed in the UK. And it is Australian laws which apply. However I'm sure Mr Dwight will have some usefull information for handling this situation. I'll bring it up with Micheal. See what our lawyer thinks on the issue. The ACCC would probably be interested with what Rob has to say about this kind of scheme. Hard to ignore a leading figure in international consumer protection ;)

Truth. And to everyone saying "you can't stand up in coach" pure BS. I've only even traveled in coach and had no problems. Nor has any other passenger (excluding the exsesively tall) but the majority is no trouble.
