Smith, for some reason, no. I think the plot killed the effectiveness off after the first movie. Or perhaps about halfway into the second. I'm undecided on when exactly Smith, as a character, lost his evilness and moved to just "die already" like you get with a lot of useless characters in movies :-?
  5. He wanted the death penalty and they're going to make sure he doesn't get it. Couldn't have turned out any better.
  6. or can we... ;) *screen shots Cj's desktop*

If something is not composed of some form of matter, it simply doesn't exist. Kind of open-shut case that was :-? What's your point insane?
  8. that's possible with Word Art in MS Word :P
  9. I can download from putfile when it works. I hate that site with passion.
  10. I haven't had any weird sense of Deja Vu for a long time. But now that I think about it, I tend to get that feeling that isn't quite right at random times. It was quite freaky the first time I paid much attention to it because it happened the same time another friend wasn't feeling quite right about something. And more disturbingly - it turned out her bf had been "keeping his options open" for a good 6 months... but what's more freaky is that it stuck around for a while so i knew something still wasn't quite right, not that she'd admit it :-? :( And it's happened again, not quite to that extreme but always turns out something negative had happened about the same time. Makes me really uneasy sometimes.
  11. Ok, for some films, the majority of people know what they are doing :x
  12. I have 5 LED MAGLITE torches of various sizes. They've been ported over from the standard bulb mag's so I can still replace the LED if they ever die. Unlike most conventional LED lights where you can't actually change the LED :P I better mention now that the LEDs in most torches and lights last for about 10,000 hours. So by the time you have to change LEDs, you might as well replace the entire unit. However I prefer being about to mix and match my LEDs instead of having the same torch in various light colour.
  13. Open and shut case really.
  14. Ah yes, but on the other side, the driven didn't deserve that. He wanted out :x
  15. I run faster with my weapon sheathed. And I can jump off the surface of water multiple times ;)

His work in Die Hard is a bit of a letdown if you compare it to what he's achieved lately. I think it was more to do with the actual character he was playing than his acting. Just a little bit too "out there evil" for what would've been suitable. Maybe I'm just too cynical
  17. The votes on IMDB arean't harsh at all. They're honest. Most of them aren't your typical "average joe" and they know how to rate a movie across everything it entails. Anyhow, I'm more "so-so" towards it. Too much overkill / reliance on CGI for my liking but given the concept of the movie, I'm willing to let it slide (much like with other Sci-Fi films). It's ok, but nothing overly great. The Matrix beats it hands down. Reloaded is about the same as it, IMO.
  18. It was more after Roger Moore that they lost the more traditional Bond. I won't complain about the appearance though. More so some of the plots... I'm not too sure on Daniel Craig though. I would've thought they could get someone with abit more experience with that kind of role. But I guess (from the trailer) he picked it up quite well. I'll eagerly be awaiting more, but i'm not holding high standards. This could still blow up in the faces of those making this film :-?
  19. tried searching yet? There's plenty of topics about other games other than runescape... chances are it's listed under one of those topics.
  20. Now that I think about it, that's a bit like me, but not quite to that extreme. knuckles and related: no problem. Catching items i've dropped, not bad either. But could be better. And I'm hardly ambidexterous :P
  21. That would be because he didn't want to be in it. It was part of his contract or whatever that he had to be in the next movie that got thrown his way because he'd already passed on so many other roles. Even if he did do a good job at it, the movie still would've been bland. At least IMO.
  22. I wouldn't. Not in indy's cases. Anyhow, grounded for a month after "not calling on time". I was about 5 minutes late due to traffic  That was the last time I got grounded aswell, since after that stupid grounding I just broke it anyways.

Aye, Rickman is supurb in Prince of Thieves. The supporting bad-guys let him down a bit though. A bit too soft compared to his performance. More so towards Michael Wincott (Guy of Gisborne) than anyone else. I think he just didn't get it up-there to make him makes the deeds he had done. The best "Bad Guy" per se, is perhaps David Thewlis as King Einon in Dragonheart. He brings across the coldness even with the apparent goodness from half a dragon heart. Perhaps not one to like as a character, but very well done. Following that I would have to say Christopher Lee from most of his bad guy roles. Especially his portrail of Francisco Scaramanga during The Man With The Golden Gun. Granted there is also the more recent Lord Of The Rings exposure which has him in a not so loveable position, but again very well done. Lastly on my list I'm backing Robert Davi for his role of Franz Sanchez in Licence to Kill. I tend to develop a liking for many James Bond villians. And I rank Sanchez next to Scaramanga in terms of lest "outright evil". There is also Jaws, but given his lack of exposure I can't really say much on that. That and he eventually turns good, so it kind of cancels out :P

They can all spell. Unlike yourself, who comes across as have the same level of inteligance as a brick.
  25. Got grammar? Got spelling? Got a point? Actually, scrap all that and I'll just settle with a simple "w-f-t mate?" :-?
