That I agree 100% with. Might explain why I find it hard to life people - most of them are putting on a show to be better than they are / someone they're not - I hate it.

I don't think Microsoft has totally thought that through. IF they make PC-Gaming to the XBOX and such, the XBOX would HAVE to be hardware upgradeable. Otherwise they'll have to pump out a new console EVERY SINGE TIME new technologies become available (which is pretty much monthly). As it is now it is once every 3 years or so. Having it stay like that will basically force a lot of companies into liquidation and most likely decalre bankrupt. And, it would hold back development of games since 'oh [cabbage], there's nothing to supprot it yet, can't make a game now - time to lose money again'. Be the stupied business decission in the history of microsoft. Almost as bad as making IE part of the OS.

That's a bit assumption. Too big a gap between launch dates might see sales going to Sony and Nintendo which they might not have gotten if they launched at the same time. They both have a very good chance. The PS3 has the specs enough to give the XBOX a run of its money. And the Revolution has opened up an entirely new section of gaming which both Sony and MS can't even touch. So it's pretty much fair game for now ;)

I remember in IRC once or something BEAR was going on about a ghost being upstairs. He even took a pic with himself holding this 2x2 lump of wood and whatnot "ghost hunting" or whatever. Have to wonder wtf a piece of wood is going to do to a ghost hm ;)

20-24 and I have killed people over a lost game in freecell :shock: And by 'people' I mean no one. I play BF2, Postal [2], a lot of RTS and such. FPS aren't really my thing but I got a fair few of them of variant violence and gore. Last time I was even remotely violent to anyone was because they attacked me first :P

@Matt: I went out and found some pics of said event in Saw and that's not what I had in mind. Just make a cargo net out of razor wire and such.

Disregarding internet stuff (phpBB, Opera, Google, msn and IRC) I have no real loyalty to any store except where I work :P I'll go to whatever store has whatever I want for the lowest price possible :D And I'm glad to say the K-Mart and the such 'cheap' stores don't make that list much anymore since my needs are fairly specialised :)

I haven't played Ohmaha since I was in highschool :( There was only 12 people that I knew of who could actually play it and 3 of them I taught myself. There was no shortage of people who knwe Hold'Em though. I eventually just switched just because no one I knew anymore could play Ohmaha :cry: @Ryan: I agree. Hold'Em is the mtv of poker and it sucks. I have to go to the casino if I want in on decent games of any other type and even then the majority of the tables are Hold'Em :x

I'll agree with that Daan. Personal tastes aside, it takes a lot more than "not liking it" to make a movie crap. I don't like a lot of movies (mainly the over dramatized pieces of crap coming out of hollywood and the like for the last few years) but still have the willingness to actually appretiate anything they right well or excellently rather than focus on one bit to make my call on it (like some people have odne with actors "Oh I don't like, so movies are all [cabbage]"

Ironically, no one locked (or even closed) the Garage last night. Nothing was stolen during the night though, so whatever. Still wouldn't leave it unlocked again overnight.

Worst movie hands down is Wuthering Heights. The book moves slowly and the movie is slower still. But it's not a bad book, it's just... not suited for movie use IMO :-?

Depends on what you're using it for. I have some parmesan that I use with Pasta dishes which I keep in an open-air food safe (grates like powder and I love it :D). And I have anything else in the fridge/freezer. Just for 'various uses' isn't going to help much :P

In regards to value for money on the functionality side of things, the PC-Gamer will always come out on top. If you want 'value for money' using the fun factor, then it's fairly open-ened. Depends what games you like to play really :-?
