Heh, try the last 7 or so years for Australia :\ We've been in 'drough' mode for a long time. And almost most of the country has been on water restrictions for almost 3 years, maybe a bit more. It's pretty much gotten to the stage where we'd welcome ANY rain. Even if it is because of a cycole / tropical storm / etc :x And fires, yeah.. we get them a lot aswell. And in our current conditions, if it doesn't rain over summer (which it better do) it's going to be extreme fire danger all year again :\ This place is basically a tinder box in a lot of places :-?
  2. Very good film that :)
  3. "Some have likened a 40 minute trip on the Underground to the equivalent of smoking two cigarettes." That's about the most disturbing bit of the Snopes article on it :\

Not in my case :P If a song has a good beat to it, I generally work better than usual ;) Which explains why I listen to dance / trance / techno / etc when I code :P

Skip the principle and go to the Education Department for your state. I've found in too many circumstances that the school administration will do nothing about it :-? But if you want to try there first, then by all means go ahead.

I recall something about the Bird Flu from a few years ago or whatever. Don't remember much on it but it was a fairly big issue. I think SARS over-ruled it though. So whatever. Still fairly nasty. I know Australia was fairly paranoid about it the first time. Can't say I blame them really, kind of close :-? :x

For the most part it is not required, ok :P In the case of the pic Matt posted, make up isn't going to help that :x
  10. Ok. Going from that verse, so long as you do one or the other you'll be fine? This is why I find religion to be a bit on the 'bs' side of things. I must've read close to 30 ways of being able to get into heaven and they all can't be right since s lot of them have conflicting information. *shrug*
  11. Because TIF does not use an unaltered version of phpBB. They have modified something like 5 .tpl files in order to have ads on the fourm. After you install phpBB it looks like this: No more, no less. Edit: @topicStarter: Why not ask your school if you can have like 50mb of space for a forum and small website?

I'm not a big fan of makeup on females or males. But to answer the questions: 1. I just see it as something to mask blemishes of the skin and to 'enhance' certain features (cheeks, eyes, lips, etc). 2. I don't see why not. Granted it's more of a 'chick' thing but I don't most of you are thinking "omg that dude is wearing makeup" when you go see a movie ;) But whatever. I really couldn't care less about it unless someone (male or female) feels like they have to use it every single day because they aren't happy about their looks or whatever.
  13. phpBB by default IS add-free. The official phpBB forums were add-free for a long time before they decided to put some in for whatever reason :P And dot tk is a clean redirect. Somehow off with their CS but that's about it :P
  14. Can't say I'm suprised by the RIAA there...
  15. http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file_d ... &fileidx=1 not the official link but meh. The official site seems to be a bit non-existant atm. Dunno what happened to it :-?
  16. That doesn't exactly work here. At least not in Brisbane anyone. People have been attacked: - In daylight - In some of the busiest parts of the city - Either by themself or in a group Trust me, people don't give a [cabbage] about what time it is and who is about. For example: There was a huge fight in the Queen Street Mall (busiest place in Brisbane during the day) and I'm talking something like 30 people just all-in brawl. And like a year ago some guy go beaten unconcious in the middle of the day right outside the CASINO of all places. And again in the same place (I think) a guy got beaten to DEATH for his SHOES. Not to say Brisbane is dangerous on average it's fairly safe. But like, you never know sometimes :-?
  17. Yes it is. I'm glad the only people i have to deal with using Fox / Falco is the AI :P
  18. QFT I know a lot of people with next to no income yet still somehow manage to gather enough cash to get trashed at least 3 times a week.
  19. QTF The whole system needs an overhaul (seriously - you'd be sick at what people who kill people, intentionally or not, get most of the time) :x
  20. Blame the police. If they could use OC Spray responsibly then the general public might be able to. But until then it isn't going anywhere fast.
  21. Aye - And even then they go overkill half of the time... And don't even think about a tazer.
  22. I don't know about WhatPulse but I had a program installed a long time ago which did pretty much the same thing. Application | KeyStrokes | MouseClicks | MouseDistance And you could compare how far your mouse had traveled in relation to a heap of things like the English Channel, climbing the Eifle Tower, Manhatten Marathon (or something like that). Someone else probably knows what I'm talking about :-?

Nintedo always aims to deliver on the fun-factor but for most people... it's all about the power :-? :( TBH I don't mind the PSP all that much. But I wouldn't buy one :P
  24. Nah. I can't remember the country off the top of my head (it's in African somewhere) but it will always top the list for % chance of getting aids untill some kind of 'cure' comes out. *shrug*
