  1. You're the kind of drop kick that gets people killed on the road because of your attitude. Just because you think you're top [cabbage] doesn't make it so. And these laws are to keep morons like yourself from holding a licence in the first place.

Finding a web-capable phone is not hard at all. I could probably pick both the MP3 player and the phone up for less than 700AU which is well under the cost of an iPhone in converted dollars.
  3. That's what has me reluctant to see it, but I probably should. Chances are I wont be that disapointed by it.
  4. Got myself: - Casino Royale - X-Men Trilogy :
  5. You still can. It's just that some moron might think you've having it own with your own kid :uhh:
  6. Hey - I say your name inthe "lost post" o nthe index and i'm like "no way!" but it was a sad topic so no happy "welcome back" stuffs really :(

  8. Intersting and strange at the same time. Given the structure of the ride... to be able to take a limb off... Someone seriously screwed up at the park. Or design of the ride. Either way that never should've been possible :-?
  9. Chroming's bad m'kay :P
  10. Perfectly legal. Since most of them have school / work during the day - they got on 4x4 trips in the afternoon / night instead. Curfews like that will really screw them over :P Yea, although if you're work late nights... it's highly unlikely you'd be taking more than one person with you anyways. @DaN: That's all well and good for you there mate, but despite having the lowest % of drivers on the road, the 18-25 age bracket has the highest fatality rate. You can't simply say that really doesn't shout something out that new drives simply aren't getting the experience before they have their open licence. Hell, I swear taking a 2-day defensive driving course (not some cheapo half day which you learn nothing) should be mandatory. At least then they'll at least know how to act in most situations where they'd usually kill themself (ie: different scenarios of losing control of your car).
  11. That I did at high school and uni when I was bored. Still do it at work occasionally... manager doesn't like it much though #-o
  12. It'll be a good day for both states. Although a bit :ugh: at the 11-5 curfew for NSW. I have a number of mates in NSW who do night runs in their 4x4's and yea... that'll really screw them up somewhat. Same here actually - although I'm not sure what the curfew is, about the same I think #-o
  13. Ok, so the Queensland Government is bringing in new laws for P-Plate drivers to try and stop young people killing themself on the road. Some of the changes to the current laws are pretty good in my opinion. The part I like the most is the power restrictions of the vehicles. I can't count the number of friends I had in high school who got into very serious accidents with their near illegal sports cars within a few months of being able to drive. Just want some thoughts on it all - your states laws for newly licensed drivers, etc. Australian or not. Just to compare. These are the toughest restrictions in Australia right now.
  14. haha.... I was gonna use the goate jaw... but i don't smile much so it would've been out of place #-o :-k

I actually just had any amusing throught. A while ago on Rove Live (aussies will know) pete brought up a topic on corporal punish back into schools. Then he did a short sketch on having CAPITAL punishment in schools. Damn that was hillarious and that gave me an idea.... Just randomly sentance people to death for even the most minor of effences. Oh would that make it an interesting community to live in where jay-walking could get you executed :ohnoes:

But can't you understand the hypocracy of that statement. You're condeming someone for murder, and then condoning the murder of that person. You're saying something's wrong, then using that wrong yourself to punish someone. The death penalty completely undermines respect for the law. Who said anything about condoing the method of killing someone? Just make the law "you kill someone and you die in the exact same manner regardless". Don't have to approve of it on your own moral grounds. It's just the way things are then.
  17. Technically he would've been better off bumping the other topic, but that's just what I would've told him to do :uhh:

Did you smoke some strange stuff before hitting the bed that night mate or something
  19. That I can easily agree with. I really only have a handfull of friends left. And none of them are from after I finished uni.
  20. Read thread then post :uhh:
  21. Good luck on ruling the world from your little island then :P USA would probably invade and install democracy in their terrorist state :mamoru:
  22. I also thought USA or Russia, but Russia tends not to return people.
  23. Technically I'd consider that an act of terrorism. It's seriously no different to what all the "terrorist" groups have done to numberous people over the last few years. I'd all be having the person who gave the order executed by means of torture, as for the people who had to go get Mr. X, break their knees, or remove parts of their fingers.
