deadly swimming pools!?
People, and quite often young girls, drown in pools and spas because their hair is caught in pumps and such. Hands get caught, whatever. It's not [cabbage] - it happens. As for injuries of this extent... I could believe that to a point.

Clubbing / Disco. <I went! Feedback.
There's a bigger risk of being seperated at the door when you go with females. I've seen it happen so many times it's not funny. And also... you really have to watch what people get rejected for the first time you go out. Shoes are really popular, followed by pants. If you're short, and you're wearing 3/4 length - which do go down past your ankles - some [bleep] bouncer can still reject you for not wearing full length pants. Believe me that happens. Long pants, long sleved shirt - preferably, covers all bases - and go with formal shoes, or anything with no visible laces. And definately not boots which look like steel caps. So long as you look over 18 they usually don't care, however there will always be plenty of clubs who ask for id of everyone going through their doors.

Bill Gates looses richest status
I can hate MS fairly easily sometimes - but Bill Gates himself I tend to think of as another billionaire. Although unlike most of them he's not so hard-core "me me me" "mine mine mine" etc. Like perviously said, he's given so much away, and at the end of it all, his own kids would haven't enough to "still have to work" i believe was what Bill himself said about that arangement. I'd have to find the exact quote - but they're definately not getting showered with enough money to live off the intrest.

NRL Thread
I have to say, that was perhaps one of the most underhanded games of footy I have seen for a long time. There was like 15 penalties in that match? With about 10 of them being put out in the first half or something? Both teams were going for broke, and you could so tell. Right from that first tackle it was all or nothing across the board.

Personally i'm not much for clubbing. It's alright, but when you get split from your group (which can be for anything) you best have a place to go instead. And given that you're under aged to begin with - if you get asked for id at the first place, you best turn around and go home right there.

Text messaging!
I send about 20-30 a month. And I get about the same in return. Hell - going 4 or 5 days with no texts or calls is fairly common for me.

It's common sense, they do it with LPG as well.- New Presidential Directive Gives Bush Dictatorial Power
At least if this passes and he doesn't liquidate the entire senate, there's still hope.- Family worries over " security to much . "
Move in with your girlfriend. If you don't have one - get one then do the first part :ohnoes: Seriously though, I don't think there's much chance of them loosening up unless you can convince them that their "protective nature" is going to turn you into a recluse and do more damage than good if they make you scared of society.- What Mobile do you have?
Yea.. and the battery level aint accurate either. Turned it off for a movie once - was like in the red - turned it on, back up to green... and it lasted for another 2 days... despite the indicator telling me i should've put it on charge that day. Level jumps all over the place now, so i gotta charge it every day :ohnoes:- What Mobile do you have?
Same here. Mines a right piece of [cabbage] now though. I'd make a list of stuff that's botched... but it'd be way too long so i'll keep it to "half the buttons don't work at random times... takes 5 minutes to turn on... freezes occasionally... forgets there's a sim card in there (rare)" seems to be about it :uhh:- age limit to love?
People mature at different rates depending entirely on what happens during their life. 18 is just some superficial age at which some person - some time ago - said this is when we pretend it makes a difference.- New Presidential Directive Gives Bush Dictatorial Power
Given the recent developments in the UK - yea, i'd take that bet.- iPhone:Worth the $600?

Matt hit it - even the most avid (news and current affairds) websites have essentially phased out the use of marquees, and they actually had a valid use and most of them used them effectively to begin with. Marquees are hard to use well - and when you screw up, it looks bad and annoys people.- iPhone:Worth the $600?
For all technical purposes, Opera Mobile is a full-fledged browser. It's mobile technology - and just because it isn't equal to the PC version of Opera does not make it a cut back version.
