  1. Time is relative, to events that occur around you, and dictate everything, past, present, and future. Time creates chaos, which co-exists with order. Order is how time is chronological, and how everything flows smoothly. Time is why we know if and when anything occurred. However, order cannot exist without chaos to balance it, and without chaos to affect time, order would be rendered nonexistent, and would cause a time paradox, destroying time within itself. By this concept, we have no choice but to believe that Time, is omnipotent, and cannot be denied it's existence. Time travel is harder to explain. Allow me to visually explain...
  2. Wong, you scare me >.> Worst thing I've eaten was maybe a penny or dime when I was 4 or 5.

Heh, I've had fun with a few schematics, like the Deathclaw Gauntlets, which is the best unarmed melee weapon yet, and it outclasses the power fist. There's the Railway Rifle, which use railway [bleep]es, and then there's the Shishkebab, which is a flaming lawnmower blade that does Fire DoTs.

Constipation honestly sucks. Phospho-soda gave me the worst cramps imaginable, it's more painful than when you have to have your appendix removed, I was almost in tears over how bad the cramps were. It fixed my constipation problem, but omg it was horrible. I had to go to the hospital at 2 in the morning, and got home at around 7 :S
  5. Not really, it's personal preference. If you were racist, you would've said worse.

It's made by EA, i'm not gonna buy it due to their restrictive DRM's/SecuROM.
  7. Is it normal if your paintballs end up inside the freezer, or you have your alarm clock in there?
  8. At least no one is really afraid of Fan Death
  9. Only thing people would have left to factor in are a keyboard and mouse($10), a good 17" LCD monitor for around $130, and maybe some speakers or headphones.

to convert grams to mols, you divide by that number under the letter on the periodic table, to get from grams to atoms, you times it by Alexandro's number 10^23 and thats how many atom's you have. but you can do alot with mol's besides finding number of atoms, its used alot in stoichiometry That would be Avogrado's number 1.0 X 10^23 ;) That would actually be Avogadro, and it's 6.022 x10^23 particles in 12g of C-12. ;) Stoichiometry was always a pain in the [wagon], barely passed Chemistry because of it.
  11. Glary Utilities will work for everything else.

  14. High download rates doesn't necessarily mean child porn. That's a terrible way to try and track child porn. Where do you get this info? Subversion doesn't support file encryption and the URLs are not particularly long. Also, a subversion repository should be no more difficult to track than anything else. Meh, i'm posting BS like that guy, only I was being sarcastic. And I said a large amount of data, never specified a speed.
  15. That encrypted data might be treated as suspicious after the filter is introduced. Ah, but you may(in the governments mind) be accessing illegal material(as it would be avoiding the filter), and justify an investigation from that. I don't think you understand how completely impractical and unrealistic that is. Firstly there's the question of what exactly they would investigate. They can't obtain a warrant to seize your computer equipment simply on the basis of you using encryption and nothing in the proposals changes that. Secondly they simply couldn't investigate everyone who uses encryption - it's used far too widely already and this firewall will only drive people to use it more. Exactly, they'll probably suspect some people more than others though, as in the ones transferring tons of data. By the way, pedophiles use SVN(subversion networks) to transfer data. They're encrypted, or so they appear, are hard to trace, and involve a 200+ character url link to the download.
  16. Mmmm thats why i don't like it. I'm a big COD 4 fan...and when i play the beta i think to myself: 'Haven't i already got this game?'... I really don't think they've done much other than change the skin, imbalance afew things and add overpowered tanks. TBH all the good stuff on COD 5 is inherant from COD 4. If Treyarch had actually put their own input in and changed the game i'd have more respect for it. But there's virtually no gameplay changes so its just a different skin for COD 4 really- but with not so good map design. Only beef I have with what you're saying is that tanks are not overpowered. You have to be horrible to be unable to take down a tank. The gunner up top can be sniped out if you have any sort of skill with sniping, and you can solo a tank with fireworks+satchel charges/bazooka+sticky grenades.
  17. Hours over the past two weeks on steam: 143.3 playing Garry's Mod and TF2
  18. Maybe reinstall PunkBuster? It might fix the problem. If you're using a router, maybe enable port forwarding for punkbuster?
  19. I found a driver that works, Realtek HD audio. Lock if you want
  20. I recently installed Ubuntu and Windows to function as a dual-boot, but there is no sound. I can see the LED light on my speakers just fine, but they make no sound. I tried using headphones, which are doing the exact same thing. Both use the back speaker and microphone port, but are not functioning. USB headphones will produce sound, but the back ports will not. This is all I can think of, to be descriptive. I just installed Windows XP, if that helps, and I don't know what is wrong.

... Well you do need a driver. You should have gotten a cd with your speakers, if not then look for the driver on google. I didn't get a cd, and i don't know the exact name of the speakers. This problem is bigger, since i tried using headphones and no sound comes out either
  22. Orpheus replied to Orpheus's topic in Tech and Computers
New problem, my computer will not recognize my speakers. I have them plugged in, and it will not accept that they are there. No sound comes out. I know the brand is logitech, and i have two speakers and a subwoofer, and that's it, and i don't know what sound drivers I would need.

Lock this, i'm making a new topic
  24. Why would you spend $3200 on a computer? You're doing everything you can, except maybe a firewall(you should have one though)
  25. If it's just stuff like kiddy porn, then go ahead, there's not much to lose anyhow. I think torrent sites, for example, or any webpage that involves any sort of stuff like drugs, euthanasia, or protest(as the article states) might be going too.
