I thought Prohibition was in the late 1800's-early 1900's? Correct me if I'm wrong. You can't make smoking illegal, there's too much revenue generated for the government to not have. Doesn't matter, let them destroy themselves.

The Minimum Wage
You're not gonna get far on minimum wage, so you'd need to find a better job, hell, even a job working at places like Wal-Mart or something like that would be better. deloria and Bluelancer are right though, mathematically, you won't get terribly far. And because it's America, you don't get free healthcare.

Questionable Items in Your Possession
I'd rather not utter what I have, but I do keep a battleaxe and viking helmet on a pedestal, for when it needs to be used, it'll be ready to render heads asunder.

Obama and mandatory "civilian security force"
Logically, yes it is. Thing is, how many aren't busy and have that time for that is the question...

Fallout 3
Meh, I made a long-legged, pissed off Puerto Rican named Punchy. He deals justice with his bare hands :D Anyone else decide to turn in Mister Burke to Sheriff Lucas inside Megaton? I did and [hide=]As the sheriff was leading Mister Burke to jail, Burke pulls out a silenced 10mm, and he forgot I had a sawnoff out, so I blew his head off before he could kill Lucas[/hide]

Barack Obama is the 44th President of the United States
I think there's a difference between forcing children into a certain political spectrum, and simply influencing them. The fact is, it's not like they'd been frog-marched down to the nearest HQ and told to do this for the Obama campaign, or told to hold an Obama sign and smile for the cameras. They did come in at their own free will, and if they'd have been a Republican, good for them too. At the end of the day, these children are the future. They're the ones who will have to face the challenges left for them. They're the ones who will vote in ten years time. If they're getting involved in politics at such a young age and fighting for what they believe in by trying to make a difference, I think that has to be credited. I can't speak for Australia, but certainly in the UK I don't know of many under-18s who canvass for any of the three major political parties near to an election. In fact, I don't know any who are even members of a trade union or a political party. EDIT: Just read Sumpta's closing paragraph. Spot on. =D> Agreed on every point. Most of us at around my age are going to be left the mess the Bush administration started, and we'll have to start cleaning it up. We get this legacy that we have to fix. Obama being elected was a step forward, and it needs to continue. We might actually be taken seriously for once.

Gears of War 2
Hah, my friend is going to the midnight release, then I'll go to his house for a night of Gears. I'll have to pull him away from school, even if he goes kicking and screaming.

Left 4 Dead
yea yea yea yea yea it's gonna be awesome. Don't think it's cross-platform since Valve and Microsoft haven't joint-released a cross-platform multiplayer game yet.

Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts
Yeah, the text is hard to read, but it's readable. I barely could read it, just as good as Dead Rising, on my 22" SDTV.

Ant under the LCD screen cover.
I'm thinking that would be bad to spray into the monitor... Probably would gum up the works and ruin the screen... Right? :? ~D. V. "Wait... What? I'm thinking that wouldn't work so well." Devnull Uhh, I wouldn't spray anything into the monitor, it's obvious you'd mess it up. ~Ultima "Wait, will DVD stop doing this annoying stuff in his name?" nia92

Danger Will Robinson! (The do's and dont's in computing)
I've touched the capacitator on a monitor, it threw me back a few feet, into a wall, that hurt like hell, so yeah, I can vouch for it. not to mention my finger is burnt to a crisp almost, it's recovering though.
