Black Sabbath? That's a good point though, most band names are weird to some extent. But some are a lot worse... all those indie pop bands with names like Dogs Die in Hot Cars are just straight-up ridiculous and most people would probably agree.

Cigarettes aren't healthy - it's just that a lot of people make them off to be a lot worse than they actually are because their sources are commercials instead of trying them firsthand and finding out how they really are. The media doesn't exaggerate how bad crack is on the same level as they do with cigs. It's okay to hate cigarettes but when people take it to an extreme level as if it's immoral or if it's something only [developmentally delayed]s do, then it's quite obvious what their sources are. Well, you can say why it's wrong instead of just telling them it's a logical fallacy. Things do get pretty boring when debates just end up as: "Strawman." "Poisoning the well." "Cherry picking." Me too dude. :shock:

Seriously guys? If you keep choosing bands like these, we're gonna end up with every band ever on here. Guns 'N Roses and The Beatles are good band names? You have some explaining to do then.

MM was great, but I really disliked how there were so many restrictions on saving. I remember getting in a fight with my family because I got really far in the pipe level and they were making me come with them to the store. Not being able to save sucks when you spent an hour randomly turning pipes and finally getting it right.

I thought that too at a first glance, but then again we're on the internet. All it takes is one unfiltered google search and a deletion of the history... Don't get any ideas kids. :shame:

Smoking isn't that bad. It's just that there is a massive amount of smokers out there, meaning the sample is large. The number of people who die of smoking is high, but the number of people who don't die from smoking is much higher. It's still unhealthy and I don't see much of a point to excessive smoking but the media just really pisses me off with stuff like that. I smoke about once a week.

Good thing you reminded me of the lightning. I was probably gonna play 10 if it wasn't for you mentioning that. :P I'd recommend 6, 7, 9, or maybe even 1. Whatever you do, don't play 8 first. That one is a lot different than all the other numbered games, so you wouldn't really be getting a true taste of what Final Fantasy is about.

Guns 'N Roses is also pretty bad. In fact, I have no idea how I missed that one.

I agree, I'd even say it's healthy. A defense mechanism is really what it is. If you're walking down a dark road all alone you're probably going to feel a little scared and imagine the worst-possible-scenario. But I think that's exactly what prepares you in case something actually does happen. If you're expecting a masked guy with a chainsaw to come out from the woods, you're probably a lot better off than someone who is convinced that nothing dangerous is in the woods.

Whether it's conception, birth, 2nd trimester, whatever, it all seems pretty random to me. Babies develop gradually, so it's a very murky subject.

I always thought there was something wrong with me since I can eat a ton and still look like a stick, but seems like it's pretty damn prevalent on TIF. What am I saying? That's proof that something's wrong with me. :uhh: But, uhh, yeah... I've been dancing to Michael Jackson lately. Good cardio exercise. :thumbup:

Haha, that's been something I've been debating. I kinda wanted to do 9 but my gf's brother is borrowing it and I don't really feel like rushing through the game just to get Excalibur 2. I don't want to do 8 because of the messed up rules for the card game. So I guess that leaves 10. But now that I think of it... the butterfly catching... -.-

So, the cells aren't alive? Changed my opinion on this a bit since last time I came here. I think you should legally have the right to have an abortion, but that's not to say it's morally right at all.

It most definitely is killing, however, the severity of that term differs a lot. We kill germs by washing our hands. We kill sperm by doing you-know-what. There's nothing really wrong with killing either of those. And as for abortion, you could say the same. Yes, the baby was killed but killing isn't always going to be evil or whatever. Sometimes it's necessary. To say abortion isn't killing a fetus just sounds dishonest to me though.

And I'm not saying they shouldn't... Go back and read our first posts. I was only saying that there are some bad things to abortion. In fact, I think I said I was pretty much on the fence and that there are cases where it's fine. Okay but that doesn't have to do with the sex. The point is that she is responsible for having sex - because that's what she did. You're arguing against her being responsible by flinging the blame on other issues, like a persuasive boyfriend. There is a reason the term "rape" exists - to show the difference between consenting sex and forced sex. Even if she was persuaded, she still chose to do it - she could have easily prevented it. I never said that. What I did say was that they did more than what the baby has done. I like how you say I'm putting the baby before the woman, as if we're talking about equal things. If I chose saving a bird's life over healing a human's itch, would you say I'm putting a bird before a human? Technically, yeah, but saving a life is something more serious than an itch. Just like a baby's life is more serious than not wanting to go out with your friends and colleagues every night... Your life doesn't end as soon as you have a kid. There are plenty of parents around to prove that having a baby isn't nearly as bad as being killed. I agree with this. But I also agree that abortions can be a pretty bad thing in a lot of cases. No, abortions don't save lives. They do the opposite.

If it was consenting sex, then she was responsible for it. Yes. Two, which includes the girl. And I said rape is obviously a good reason to get an abortion. If she had sex, she had sex. You can't tell me she shouldn't be accountable for a decision she consciously made. So either way, she ruins her life no matter what she chooses? Because they're usually at the age of 20-30 by then. Compared to the baby, that's a lot. Then why are you assuming that it will ruin everyone's life?

I always pronounced it Tide-Us until a friend told me it was Teed-Us, so now I use both. I'm collecting all the materia and equipment in FF7. I have like 90% of it. :mrgreen: I still have to max out my characters and materia though.
