  1. I like that idea a lot. The only problem is that you'd have to visit that spot every time you put the item away and logged off. But I'd definitely feel safer hiding my GS at someplace only I knew about. I'm not the only one who uses this computer, so I want to be cautious about keyloggers.
  2. Definitely not. I'd say you were actually the only sane one in that group to be honest.
  3. If I were the type to put TIF quotes in my sig, this would definitely be the winner. It fits perfectly with my avatar too. \
  4. All of my role models are musicians, so music is also inspiration for me. Some of the stuff these people come up with just amazes me. Especially Jimi H. and Pink Floyd. I learn a lot from their lyrics, and the music they play gives me that euphoria I was talking about.
  5. I was a moron at three years old. I tried boxing a dog twice my size for no reason... Well, he bit me hard on the forehead and I started bleeding everywhere. I had to be rushed to the hospital and needed stitches. The scar is still there. When people ask me how I got it, I tell them it was He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named.
  6. Wait, so I have control over everything that happens to me in life? There are two factors that can control what happens. 1. My freewill - What I personally choose to do. 2. Fate - What I can't control. (My parents giving birth to me, genetics causing me to be tall and white) When I use the term "God", I am implying the second factor - Fate.

Yeah but in the mean time it would only cause us problems.
  8. Yep. That sounds like the purpose of religion to me. Make up stories to make the world a better place. I don't know if they are real or fake, I just find that point irrelevant when it comes to the fact that if we went by the same moralities portrayed, the world would be a better place. To provide us with more clear scenarios and so the message can be flexible since it was meant for multiple people and not just one guy. Making up a story can give you the chance to apply the message to everybody. I don't believe the man in the sky. I believe in Mother Nature. It seems your definition of God is different than mine. And about the comfort - so what? Is it better to be right and miserable than wrong and happy? And by using the morality of Jesus, that will be achieved, whether heaven exists or not. Like I said, if we were all like Jesus then our current world (the present - not heaven) would be a better place. I have freewill. I can control my own fate, only within my freewill. I can't control my age or other characteristics about me. I have no freewill when it comes to that. Blame it on genetics, that's exactly what I consider Mother Nature to be. Maybe you don't understand the concept of Mother Nature. She's not real. She's just the idea of the way things are. You can call her "fate" instead, if that fits better for you.
  9. The reason I am that way is because I'm far too self-centered. That means I will think that my ways are the best by far. Sometimes I think I'm in a world full of idiots. Or it could just be the opposite of that whole "ignorance is bliss" thing. People with large egos usually have it for a good reason - being more intelligent and less ignorant - therefore more prone to pessimism.
  10. 12280 Yeah, but you're one of the most common people to post here.
  11. Probably, but only on a very small scale. I doubt they will rise that much more.
  12. Euphoria. Music to me is an intangible drug, art, expression, and a chance for exerting creativity all in one.
  13. Because if it wasn't like that, metaphors would never exist. The only way I can really paint the picture is to bring up fairy tales and fables. Fake, yet they teach us a lesson. There was no account of a dog walking down a bridge with a bone in his mouth, seeing his own reflection and thinking it was a different dog with a different bone, barking at his reflection because he wanted the bone, thus resulting in his bone falling out of his mouth and into the water. Even though it was fake, it still gets the point across: Be grateful for what you have. I cannot control the fact that I'm 17, white, tall, a male, born in the USA, etc. etc.
  14. I like the idea of that, as long as it isn't an extreme inconvenience on my part. Every time I hear about hacking stories, I get paranoid, fret about my security, and change my pass. My favorite suggestion is he Login Pin.
  15. I don't think you get his point. Toy Story wasn't based on a true story, yet it still establishes its points about not being jealous, learning to work together, and whatnot. In order to believe in the existence of God, then yes the Bible should be factual - but when it comes to morality and getting the main point across then it's different. To me, God is the power that controls everything which I cannot. I think of God as Mother Nature - something much greater than I am.
  16. 12282 I have a strange feeling that I had that number before the rollback.
  17. I'm pretty skeptical about this. He might be toying with your emotions and is planning on taking your account again or screwing you over somehow. Or he really could be just some nice guy. You never know.
  18. That sounds.... contradictory. Then again, I am a pessimist with a huge ego... so maybe not. Same here. That's actually pretty weird. :-k

Bad argument. Whether they should or shouldn't, they still will and that's not a good thing. Are you just purposely looking for an argument? I think it's commonsense that some people would pay more attention to naked girls than other things. Thanks media, for making me sick when I see old obese men naked! But you see, that is the reason why it's bad. Our society already frowns upon it. Do you really expect change though? I find nudity completely acceptable in some cultures - the ones who aren't as advanced when it comes to luxuries when compared to us people who have access to computers. But as for our culture, people would just be too immature and shocked about it. It would cause a lot more harm than good.
  20. Devil May Cry 2 and 3 It was definitely more kiddish, but there was tons of extra material on there that Dark Cloud 1 didn't have. I personally liked the game play of the second one more. The only beef I really had was with the stupid fish. :uhh:
  21. For the intense video games on the Wii, I can understand. But when we are talking about clicking or mashing a button as being classified as sports, then I guess we should call sewing and washing the dishes sports too.

It attracts way too much attention and some people would be aroused and stare. Imagine a hot nude girl walking alongside a busy street. Plus, sometimes the naked body is unpleasant to look at when it comes to some people.
