If you don't want people to call you a noob, then raise your combat. If you don't want to raise your combat, then don't care about what other people think.
  2. I got the same metal dragons twice in a row, and still didn't get any good drops. #-o
  3. It relates to the achievement of defeating hard bosses at low level, like obtaining a Fire Cape at level 40. F2Pers are handicapped because training skills is easier for members.

We're in one of those situations where things are going to be biased. Gun supporters will claim people will fight back - gun opposers will claim people won't fight back. I wasn't invalidating his point, merely showing that I can apply the same logic (mere speculation) to get my point across too. You can do that to my points too I guess and I have no problem with it (I'm the type who is fine with agreeing to disagree), but apparently that only makes you a hypocrite. :| Besides, the situations are different. He was making a claim that he knew others wouldn't fight back. However I can make the claim that I would fight back. It's a lot easier to predict your own actions rather than other people's.
  5. Oh please, did you get that idea from the Christian philosophy of animals being made to serve man? Think outside the box. We're not really advancing - our technology is. Put the average person in the wild for a week and they'll probably end up dead. You say intelligent life is a good thing, but why? What have we achieved? The ability to become so dependent on our own machines while ruining the environment too? Sounds like a losing situation to me. I'll change my mind once someone cracks the mystery of the universe, but until then we're mostly just a nuisance to the other species.
  6. I agree. Zammy is best for PVP and Sara is best for monster hunting. I'd have to say Bandos would be pretty helpful in PVP too if you are fighting someone with tank-like Defence.

To Mage: No offense but that's a very bold assumption you are making. We'll never have the chance to know if he would have been stopped or not - you're merely making a speculation. The fact that you were there isn't very good support. In other words, you say they wouldn't fight back - I say they would (if they had the chance that is). I'm still open to other supporting reasons as to why someone wouldn't fight back though. I know justice isn't taking their life - justice is protecting your own life and potentially protecting others. And like Lenticular said, people would just move onto different methods of suicide anyways. The same could be said with murder. The reason guns are so popular is because they are currently the most effective weapon. Let's think Runescape for a second. Before the Whip came out, everyone was crazy about Dragon weapons. And before those were out, people were crazy about Rune. Was murder still a commonplace in the medieval age of swords and arrows? As a matter of fact, it was.
  8. [hide=] [/hide] Good point. I think a lot of it has to do with situation. Some people play RS because it's cheap and it's all their computer can handle. Some people play WOW because all of their friends do. Some people play RWT MMORPG's because they are rich in real life
  9. Situational humor is one of my strong points since I make a great class clown. My jokes and comebacks just come so naturally too. Wow, I'm lucky about that now that I think of it. :D Ahh the wonders of being a quick-witted smart [wagon].
  10. Farming sounds like a lot of fun to be honest. Not gardening though - I'd rather make something I can eat rather than something that just looks nice. I used to live on a farmland and if I would have grown up there I would probably have a green thumb by now.

I wish I was that way. What's your secret?
  12. I think it's just retrospect. I feel that the present always sucks, but then as time passes I look back and think about how "great" the past was. It happens every year to me at school. In 9th grade, I missed what it was like in 8th grade. In 10th grade, I missed what it was like in 9th grade. And so on. Right now I think this summer is boring, but in like a year I'll bet you I will feel nostalgic about it anyways. Lol, reminds me of that South Park episode where the kids graduated and missed 3rd grade. It's weird how so many Off Topic threads can have South Park logic applied to it. Seriously, this is like the 5th time mentioning that show here this month.
  13. I never heard the word "frankly" used so much. :P But anyways, I agree. You either need to learn how to adapt or just move on if Runescape doesn't interest you.

Unless it's possible to destroy every single gun in the world and prevent them from being made, then we are already living in a very dangerous world. Illegal or not, guns will still be around. A killer is not going to care whether a gun is illegal or not - he is already a criminal for wanting to commit murder, so do you really think one little extra law is going to stop him? I think the best way would be to even out the playing field. The best defense is a good offense, and since weapons will always be around, a good defense is pretty much needed. If guns were illegal, of course there would be less deaths - at the cost of more injustice.
  15. Not to strangers, but when it comes to friends I'm more inclined to lend to them right before I'm about to go to sleep.
  16. I'm nothing special. 50-ish here.
  17. Well, since the other methods of raising Hunter aren't really that much faster and they give you no profit - I'd just do Red Chins whether they're slow or not. But if you absolutely don't want to, 80 is a great level for catching them.
  18. I know, right? Some people act like they never took anything that they didn't need before. If you make a habit out of drinking 6 sodas a day, then yes you have a problem on your hands. However, doing it once in a while won't hurt. And some of us have high metabolism and don't really have to worry about weight. Yeah and candy isn't the best appetizer either, but yet people still continue to buy it. Sometimes we don't do things because we have to - we do it because we want to, and this applies to everybody. In this case, he paid to have a good tasting drink in his mouth for a few hours. Not a necessity, but he enjoyed it or else he probably wouldn't have even paid in the first place. He got exactly what he paid for - free refills. I think that's enough justification. It's okay to enjoy yourself once in a while, but remember - only once in a while.
  19. Granted, but now all of the pillows in the world magically became 100 times more comfortable. I wish I had a purpose in life.

I do the worst possible thing. Just sit there and complain about how bored I am.
  21. I really don't think cheating would be a good idea for me. I like personal achievements, and that's one of the main reasons I play RS in the first place. It just wouldn't feel right sporting a Slayer Cape that I didn't even earn.
  22. Nothing happened. You just had a lucky day.
  23. Dazed and Confused and Kashmir. Wow. Kashmir just came on. :P
