  2. [hide=Pink Floyd - Time]Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day You fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town Waiting for someone or something to show you the way Tired of lying in the sunshine Staying home to watch the rain And you are young and life is long And there is time to kill today And then one day you find Ten years have got behind you No one told you when to run You missed the starting gun And you run, and you run to catch up with the sun, but it's sinking Racing around to come up behind you again The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older Shorter of breath and one day closer to death Every year is getting shorter Never seem to find the time Plans that either come to nought Or half a page of scribbled lines Hanging on in quiet desparation is the English way The time is gone The song is over Thought I'd something more to say Home, home again I like to be here when I can When I come home cold and tired It's good to warm my bones beside the fire Far away across the field The tolling of the iron bell Calls the faithful to their knees To hear the softly spoken magic spells[/hide]
  3. I hate to be a history nazi, but Ford didn't invent the automobile. I forget his name, but I believe it was a German. Once again my school teaches me false information. :|
  4. None of those are nearly as bad as when people would just trade 30M right then and there. It's still possible, but it's about 10 times less convenient now. Anyways, RWT and item lending are different. Trading =/= Lending. A trade is a permanent, and lend is not. Does it make me rich if I rent a sports car for a day? I don't think so. Also, not every item can be traded. Players would trade massive amounts of gold and then buy things to help train their skills - you cannot do that with lending.
  5. Meh, the only use I have for it is to get to the farming patch quicker.
  6. I met my bestfriend in 9th grade almost three years ago. He got switched into my classroom, and when he entered the door I had this really strange feeling about him. In my mind, I just knew that something was up. It was like destiny was foreshadowing our future friendship.
  7. I'd have to go with the automobile. Mr. Ford knew what he was doing. :
  8. I used to read books... before I got internet. Speaking of that, both of my parents' jobs involve the internet so they would both be out of a job if it happened. My dad has to fix cables - and with no internet that job would be pointless. My mom works for a credit card company so she has to rely on an online database.
  9. Hmm... Maybe my BGS just spoiled me then. I haven't even used a Whip in a while, now that I think about it. :D

The exact same weight and size, and drop them down sideways so neither starts at top! Brilliant idea Cheese. :P
  11. I've uncovered a new talent tonight. It seems like I'm exceptionally well at the game of persuasion. ;)
  12. I don't think I ever posted my direct thoughts about this. If I did, then I guess I forgot. :P Anyways, I do believe in God. I view God as mother nature - the force that ties everything together - energy - karma - us - all of the universe in its entirety. The problem with the bible is that it personifies God as a "someone" who can act on his own. I don't think of God like a person - I think God is just a force perpetuating our world into something-ness rather than nothingness. Nouns such as pain, fear, love, and hope are all intangible - yet as real as can be, merely because of the fact that they are words fulfilling their definitions. I think God was just the word people chose as that intangible thing which is supposed to mean "everything".
  13. I can easily make it look like having 5k posts makes you an "attention seeker". Since day one, I decided that having maxed out skills would be really cool. Even on Single Player games, I've made the personal goals of achieving high levels, the best weapons, etc. etc. Does that make me an attention seeker too - oh wait, you can't do that on Single Player games. -.- In a lot of cases it's not love for a particular skill or attention seeking - it's perfectionism - the idea that you achieved something. Are you honestly going to tell me that there is no such thing as self-satisfaction?
  14. Haha Donald Duck? Now I have to go on Drawball. How do you guys make it sound so fun? Wow, I already used all 5% of my ink fixing the "I".
  15. Hmm, come to think of it, I went without internet for over two weeks this summer so I didn't really care. I knew I would have access again in a few days. My mentality might be a little different knowing I'll never be able to use it again.
  16. I've felt things brush onto me in the middle of the night when no one else is even in the room. Ghost or not, it still creeps me out. :uhh:
  17. I wish I could do Drawball again. My computer can't handle it anymore. :(
  18. Yeah, South Park is actually what inspired me to make this. It might be a pretty crazy show, but it makes a lot of good points.
  19. Nice job leveling combat, Cup. Go for Ranged and Magic next! :
  20. Woot! You need to teach me how to mine like a pro someday. PS: Nice sig. That's a good song.
  21. A lot of us would probably have much more free time, have higher grades, participate in more social events, etc. On the other hand, the internet is a great way for communicating and transferring information. The internet really is a revolutionary piece of work. So, where would you be if it weren't for the internet? Or better yet, what would you do if tomorrow the internet suddenly stopped working forever? I'd probably be bored and lost for about a week. No TIF, no Wiki, no music. On the bright side, after my internet withdrawals passed ( :geek: ), I'd probably get into sports. I find them really fun, but sadly seeing other kids outside is a pretty rare sight nowadays. A lot more people would probably be outside since they don't have internet either, so I predict my community would pass time with outdoors games... either that or television.

I think a better experiment would be to tie some extra weight onto a cat's back and then drop it... would be a bit cruel though. :? Yeah, it does. :)
  23. Scams serve as a reason why people should just buy the items themselves. After all, it's unwise to trust complete strangers with your money.
  24. Well, you can always lose money from hackings, accidents, scams, or whatever. That's why I've always been more of a skiller guy - can't lose your skills. : I also enjoy mini games too though.
  25. I don't think that's true. I think it just encourages more posts of that manner. People see others get away with it - so they do it too. However, I partially agree with the Mature Forum. I do have a feeling that it will be the most ironic title ever though...
