  1. I agree with everything you said except about the reputation. Wouldn't you say, since bees are known to sting back, they have earned their species the reputation of an insect we should know better than to mess with? Or do I just have an unclear understanding of what you meant by reputation? :-k
  2. 2/10 Never seen you before - but I have a pretty bad memory, so I always like to give some sort of benefit of the doubt instead of a 1. ;)
  3. I wholeheartedly support this thread. I remember making a rant about this a while ago. While more people achieve higher levels, Jagex isn't doing anything about making the achievements worthwhile. I'd really like to see some things that have 90+ skill requirements.
  4. I support. And for those of you saying it attracts more members - think about it. If RCing in members became more profitable, wouldn't that attract more members too?

  6. I always knew Tool was deep, but that's taking it to a whole new level. God, I love Tool. :
  7. I agree. Anything you do to prevent yourself from dying faster makes you a coward. Anyone who wears armor is a coward.
  8. By "this guy" do you mean yourself?
  9. So being handicapped is immoral too then?

What's so nasty about using the bathroom? We do it everyday, so by your reasoning we shouldn't be bothered by watching other people go to the bathroom. And honestly, I wouldn't have a problem if a mother covered it up successfully. The only thing I'm arguing is that they shouldn't do it in a restaurant all proud and naked. If you covered yourself, it would be a whole different story - but as the topic starter says the lady failed at trying to do so - therefore he saw and lost his appetite. You see, I don't care if a woman breastfeeds. What I do care about is empathy towards others. There are plenty of ways for a mother not to attract attention - but some don't feel they have to - that is lack of empathy. Like I said, I watch South Park and a lot of other nasty shows, but that doesn't mean I don't respect the fact that others may find it inappropriate. It's intolerance towards lack of empathy - not intolerance to breastfeeding in general.

You "don't have to watch" people having sex in public either. But does that really stop the issue at hand? Not at all. People will still have the first glimpse of it, and they can't unsee it.
  13. Exactly! Don't you see my point? You're just very narrow minded when it comes to this, and you're telling us that even if we show you evidence as to why it is okay, you will still disagree.
  14. Small children are very suggestible to anything. Have you heard the story of a little girl dying because her brothers were playing Power Rangers with her? I mean come on... Power Rangers... That just shows that it is the parents' jobs to teach them wrong from right - not the TV stations.
  15. "Homosexuality is not wrong. I do not care what excuses or backwards logic you attempt to use as an excuse to call it wrong. Just for the fact that you have to use backward logic shows its wrong in itself. I do not need to explain myself why I know its wrong, only because it would be pointless to tell people who fool themselves into think it's right." You see, this is why saying, "I'm credible with this. Case closed," is not a good answer. I can easily say it too.

I find this quite funny. I asked both my parents and my brother if they think breastfeeding should be allowed in a restaurant. All of them said no. They said that just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should. Yes, it is natural. But so are many things that people find nasty. If there should be no privacy when dealing with natural things, then why are there separate stalls in a bathroom? Shouldn't a bathroom just be a big room with lots of toilet seats and no stalls?
  17. We can though. All it takes is one Tip.It. poll. ;)
  18. Can't we vote for who we want to be the TipIt Clan Chat owner? No offense Pope, but I never even heard of you before. I think the reason that Lightning's chat was so successful was because her name is prevalent in the TIF community.
  19. Jefferson Airplane - White Rabbit
  20. I wouldn't consider it as really "prejudice". Heterosexuals just have different things to offer than homosexuals as parents. If you were white, chances are you'd want to live with a white family - because you'll have more in common culturally. If you were the only white in your family, you might not find it very appealing that BET is the only channel on all the time. So, the question is more or less, "Would you rather watch Sex and the City with gay parents or Boxing with straight ones?" Very stereotypical and broad, yes I know, but you're smart and I think you get the point. ;)
  21. Looks like you quoted me seriously too. : I was just trying to mock people who use it as a joke. As a matter of fact, don't take anything relating to 4chan from me seriously. I hate it and I'll bash it whenever the opportunity knocks.
  22. You can do that with Summoning too. Anyways, I'll just call it a skill. It's like how 0 is neutral on the number line. It is neither positive, nor negative but it is still a number.
  23. Looks like people still have the whole "darwinism attitude". Let's try to achieve this through empathy. Imagine you are at a theme park with your son and you are having a good time. Your son wanders off for a few hours. Later in the day, you get news that your son died from a roller coaster by wandering into a restricted zone. All stupidity aside - your son is still dead. It's not like he can learn from his mistakes either. It's a permanent devastation. By the way, if this "darwinism" theory is true, then explain why 4chan still exists.
  24. In other words, this is a " please pity me" thread? Skilling is not the problem. Gathering money was the problem. You can gather money and RWT without skilling. (Flax, green dragons, gathering ingredients.)
