Hawks

Hmm. A small village made of three houses, one is empty as of yet, but is still claimed. The villagers are Hawks, Aquan, Scaurn, Nevol, Falconer, Ben, Nit, Nic, and probably a few others I've forgotten... yes, Langzor and oh dang I forgot his name. Also Cody has left for a bit. So far they've slain yeka and defended their home against all sorts of creatures. A storm passed by recently and now bits of the forest is on fire.

Real name Jackie (on devart lol) Birthday Feb 23, am 14. Been meaning to do this: 10 things you probably didn't know about me: I have had type 1 diabetes for almost 6 years. My right big toe doesn't have a toenail. :shock: (had really bad ingrown toenail, so they killed the toenail :D ) I have no pets. I am obsessed with Legos. they rule. I am a girl scout, been one since kindergarten yay. And I have the Bronze award. I read lots of manga, have like 10 Shonen jumps and the first 6 volumes of hikaru no go. No shoujo (is that how you spell it?) manga though. I am right handed and wear my watch on my right wrist. I like only wear black socks. I LIKE PIE. I am going to learn German as well, however can't until junior year so will be stuck with only 2 years of German. Taking Geometry and Algebra 2 next year as a freshman, other elective is Band, so i can't take german next year. :( Also I play alto and baritone saxophone, for almost 4 years now. Trying to teach myself how to play the piano.

OOC: spells = always hit, damage is rolled. I believe fireball is 3d6. try the D&D Compendium @ www.dndinsider.com doesn't matter, she is purely a friend to hawk. ICC casts fireball, (will hit 3 creatures/3x damage becuase i'm cool) 4,6,2+2=14 damage

Let's see... hockey (only in the winter :( but I play goalie!!!), drawing (see devart! possibly the gallery. everytime i post there they get mad though), reading, some writing (see varrock and devart), sleeping, eating, dressing up like medieval characters (i have this sweet knight costume, swords (made of pvc pipe), and a wooden shield... oh and a ninja/mage costume, I made a collapsable staff so it would fit in my backpack lol) I go geocacheing too, rock climbing when I can, swimming... Favorite food is ham and pineapple pizza Favorite kind of pop is Mountain Dew! My username is hawkxs because my RSN is actually hawk0078 but I made annother account called hawkxs and for a time was obsessed with the xs bit... hawk just because I liked it. the 0078 part because i wanted 007 but it was taken so 0078.

I guess what I'm asking is is there a way to get a pure HTML text form to submit to and display on the same page? Sorry for double post but nobody answered my question and I thought I'd clarify a bit.

okay does anyone have any idea on how to take a pure HTML form with text box and get it to submit to and display on the same page? btw, @ klankaos: hockey referee? what's that about?

I need some way to create a form that will post the results on the same page. Something like a blog, but not. So far the only things I have come up with are a CGI or some form of Java. Right now I have an HTML page with a containing a box and two (SUBMIT and RESET). I don't want to use "mailto:" because I want 'instant gratification' (lol)... I want it to appear right after it has been submitted. Is there another purely HTML way to do this? I have a 10 year old HTML book... Can someone create a page using java or some other browser-based thing that will let you type and submit to display on the same page? I am working on a Noticeboard-like page (for a group on tip.it). I would rather not use a CGI (Computer Gateway Interface) that just displays text that is sent to it. Does someone have one that can be used for free or could someone make one? All of the CGIs I have found display random text. Also could you just send the code for it? I am planning on hosting the page on freewebs and it's going to be a one page page. (lol) Essentially the page is (right now) a title and a text input with submit and reset buttons. I would like to be able to display the submitted text on the page, above the text input box.
